K-Chicken El Cajon

Place is right next to Panda Express! They have all gender bathroooms fyi! Cute shop and a lot on the menu to choose from: Milk tea, rice hotdogs, fried chicken, macaron ice cream, and beer/soda.The mochi donuts have to be bought in 3,6, or a dozen which is kind of a bummer if you are only wanting one as 3 pieces are $10. Chicken comes in mild, spicy, and original so we got half and half of spicy and mild and served with fries.Chicken took about 10 mins to be cooked and for us to get it. Be mindful the chicken is pretty hot and easy to become messy. I wish they offered plates or something especially if you're sharing the box with others. Also wish they had wipes or something, but they do have the bathrooms I mentioned before. Chicken is cooked well and covered in the sauce. It's also very crunchy and has good flavor! Spicy is definitely spicy and it lingers. Mild is super tasty kind of a vague honey taste. I think i like it more than spicy. We want to try the hotdogs so we will definitely have to comeback to give them a try!

Food was amazing and the donuts sheeeesh is all I can say !! I would definitely come back again and tell my family about this place , the customer service is amazing!

YUCK!!!! Chicken is disgusting, and they take forever to make it, we were only able to eat the fries. Do not waste your money in this place. Wish I had listened to the reviews.... Now I'm off to find something to eat because this was not it

K-Chicken is a new location next to Panda Express in El Cajon downtown area.Prior to this location the closest place for anything Korean was in La Mesa or Convoy, which is quite far, so having something so close to home is great.We tried the half and half chicken and two of the half mozzarella half hotdog on a stick.First the chicken, it was super crispy and the spicy sauce was great! The non spicy was really good too. We had an odd request and wanted to instead of doing an even split 50/50 to have more non-spicy (so 6 spicy 12 non spicy). We also requested the wings. We were charged for wings but ended up getting drums so it was a ton more food than expected for two people. They also got the split backwards and we ended up with 12 spicy and 6 non spicy. They also added a free side of fries in one of the containers which actually went really well with the spicy sauce and were perfectly cooked. This worked out great for me cause I liked the spicy better, however my finance didn't want spicy and I ended up having to eat the 12 drums myself (wasn't able to finish them all even with eating chicken for 3 days).The sauce was a bit overwhelming, when I order here again I'm going to request about 30% the amount of sauce as the first time, the drums at the bottom were so covered in sauce you had to scrape it off just to get to the chicken.The hot dog on a sticks were a little heavy on the breading the first 3 bites I had was 100% bread before I got to the mozzarella, personally I would have preferred a whole hotdog wrapped in mozzarella instead of the half and half with a little blob of cheese buried in breading at the top. I'm going to try the classic hot dog on a stick next time cause once I got down to the meat it was really good!The food was good but the rating loses a star cause the order was wrong, nothing to do with taste. I will try this place again next time I have a craving for crispy Korean style chicken!

Chicken wings with tons of sauce were ok. We were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant and they served us cold fries. They did make it right and get us some freshly cooked fries.Overall not worth the money in my opinion.

Ignore the previous poor reviews, it was under old establishment. They did a soft reopening 3 days ago and now it's a new owner, new chef, and new food. When we heard that, we decided to give it a try and we're glad we did! Ordered the hot and spicy chicken wings, and they beat out a lot of korean fried chicken places in Convoy/Clairemont. It even rivals some korean fried chicken shops in LA! The chicken skin was crunchy and the batter was delicious, while they tossed to coat every part of the chicken wings with delicious spicy, sweet, and tangy sauce. It could be spicier imo, but I'll ask for that next time. Definitely the best korean fried chicken on the east side of San Diego; will skip the drive to Convoy if I want chicken wings. Service was attentive as they answered everything with a cheerful smile, despite us entering and eating at the establishment 20 minutes before they closed. They even offered us free samples to try! Atmosphere was def reminiscent of LA shops as kpop bounced off the walls with girl dance groups. Very fun and very korean. Will be back!

Wow, this Korean chicken was incredible! The crispy coating had the perfect crunch, and the flavor was out of this world. I've had my fair share of Korean fried chicken, but this place truly stands out. Every bite was a delightful mix of sweet, spicy, and savory that kept me coming back for more. The chicken itself was juicy and tender--just amazing.On top of the fantastic food, the people here were incredibly nice. They even gave my partner and me a free sample of their boneless chicken, which was just as delicious. I'm definitely coming back soon!

8/13 trying out this new place in El Cajon, K Chicken!!! Under new owners!!!! The food is really delicious!!! Don't forget to ask for the dipping sauces because they go great with wings! Definitely coming to eat again!!! The vibe is relax. The service is amazing.

Came in for some boba since El Cajon doesn't have much to offer for boba options. I ordered the Thai tea, my gf got the regular milk tea and my cousin ordered the matcha tea. I'm glad we all ordered a small size because this had to be one of the worst bobas I've probably had. No taste, all powder, just cheap quality. I do not recommend the his place. As far as the food I haven't tried it, it could be good but as far as boba this is not the place
