K & L Liquor and Market

Circle K is 2x the money and this place always decent clean and never has been rude like circle K on Morena Blvd next to Roberto's. K & L market the gentleman he knew when I rolled in on wheelchair because of MS when he sees my caregiver he always asks how I'm doing! Besides cannot forget jitters next door!!!!

All wine and champagne as well as beer can be found. Super collection/selection of sone of the best tequilas!!!Robert is AWSOME in answering your inquiries and super friendly

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owners are some of the nicest, most personable people you will EVER meet. I gladly go out of my way to come here instead of a big chain store just so I can see one of the owners. They are always so friendly and ask about my life and how things are going. Best of all, when you tell them something they remember and will ask you how it is going next time you come in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I go out of my way for the Sandwiches!! Go in at lunch time when Rita's working and she will handcraft you the most delicious sandwich you've ever had. It's a little market with Huge personalities that work there. If you've gone there more than twice they probably greet you by name.

If you come here a lot, get to know their staff. They're wonderful. This place has a great selection of wines and definitely try their homemade salsa! It's not spicy at all but it's a great refreshing snack.

A local store, but you'll find a larger variety of Californian wine at more reasonable prices than duty-free shops at the airport. As a tourist from Japan, its kind staff can also be another reason to visit there again.

Got to bump these guys up to a fiver (!)... My last couple of trips have been sandwiches made beautifully and with care, and always loaded down with heaps of dead beast and generous helpings of cheese and goodies. I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich here- Really high quality meat, and for the money you just can't do much better. Thanks, guys!

Just to note that they have raised up the prices of their sandwiches a little, and I'm not sure if they still use Miracle whip, but still worth checking out. How could you not want to get a good sandwich from nice people at a mom and pop store. (They also have premade sandwiches if you are in a rush, and they are conveniently by the Coronado Tasting Room & Side Car)!

Phil is the BEST. Such a nice man and always happy to see me. I love having this little spot in my neighborhood. I will have to try a sandwich soon based on all the reviews.

This is great local market and beverage store.Friendly owners and very fair prices.I have gone in for several random items (dish soap, sour cream, cupcake wrappers, ice cream). This is not Whole Foods, obviously but they have most basics covered.
