Just Love Coffee Cafe - Brentwood

Went this morning and ordered the iced oat milk chai latte. One of the better iced chais I've had in Nashville. Dropped a star for the customer service. It was about 7:30 am so maybe she was tired, but the barista was the only employee I saw. She had an attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked about the oat milk option and whether there was a decaf chai concentrate. A customer asking questions is normal, and she should be trained on handling inquiries. Mind you the shop was basically empty. Would return since the chai was great and for convenience, but will pre-order on app to avoid bad service.

Cute place but just mid. The food wasn't myFavorite and the latte wasn't hot. Location good and close to hotel. They weren't busy due to holiday.

Spent most of my morning trying to select a coffee shop to try while visiting the area. We were intrigued by the "biscuit" and decided we had to give it a try! The presentation of the lattes we ordered were underwhelming. We had hoped to receive a latte with cute latte art and were provided with nothing close to being insta worthy. The cinnamon roll was the best item ordered. Unfortunately while eating the biscuit I did find a hair toward finishing the meal. I opted to inform a staff member about the hair and also expressed how we were unimpressed with the latte designs we received. I was told that the baristas were new and did not know how to create them.Overall the location was cute but the food lacked flavor and the coffee did not meet expectations.

Summary- this place was fine. Plenty of people will continue to eat at this restaurant. It was super cute inside, people were friendly, and there were clean bathrooms. Coffee was good and I got refills while I was there, so overall it's a great place for someone to camp out and work or study. However, we didn't love it and for my needs that day I would've rather grabbed Starbucks. Everything was fine (ish) and people were friendly and food tasted fine. Overall nothing catastrophic happened other than it being painfully slow. Experience was just not what we had anticipated at all. When reading reviews and looking at the menu online we thought like oh fun let's try this cute innovative place with interesting menu and coffee for a quick breakfast. It was anything but quick, and the menu was completely different online from what it was when we got there. My husband was excited to eat spicy chicken and waffles and they didn't even have that on the menu (saw online menu). You order yourself at a coffee bar so there's no wait staff holding you up. The coffee was good and refillable thank goodness because our pretty simple breakfast took 30+ minutes to come out to us and the restaurant was not busy. The spinach omelette was good, I ate it. My husband ate his hashbrown and taco. I did not like that the grits came in a plastic container, I was actually pretty upset about that, and was a pitiful portion.

I ordered a latte with almond milk and my friend ordered a chai latte and we both liked our drinks. The atmosphere was great and its was a very social feel. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I got a medium and it was around $6.50, then after I tipped it was over $7. To me that is more than I want to pay on a regular basis. A once in a while treat is fine but I cannot make this a regular place to visit with those prices.* Note, if part of their proceeds regularly go to charitable foundations or causes, then I suppose I could justify the extra surcharge and it would be a great place to bring friends or work colleagues since you need to have a meeting somewhere anyway. I am certainly going to go here over the green Mermaid corporate giant that serves crud for coffee, especially for group orders! I'd rather support local every day of the week!

We've lived in Brentwood for several years, but I have never been to this coffee bar before. My three year old dragged me in here because he wanted muffins. I was so surprised to see how beautifully decorated and warm and welcoming this café was. My son sat right down at the bar in front of the cash register and ordered a chocolate muffin. I was about to pay for it, but they gave it to me on the house! It was so kind of them, I left a tip and I decided to order some coffee. I snuck a bite of my sons chocolate muffin. The muffin was moist and delicious, and one of the best muffins I have ever had. I had a Coco Loco latte iced, and it was the perfect mix of coffee, chocolate, almonds, and coconut. It seemed like a really nice place to sit and work as well. Breakfast menu looks epic. Definitely need to visit again for breakfast or brunch!

Such a fun time. Sat at the counter and chatted with a new friend. This is a great place to meet up and hang out. Really kind and knowledgeable server.

I feel bad for the staff at Just Love. They're doing their best, but it's clear that they're understaffed, overworked, underpaid, and probably disrespected by the majority of the clientele that frequents the place. Just recently, during my usual coffee run, one Karen threw a hissy fit because her latte wasn't insta worthy. The audacity of the lone barista/cashier. How dare they not make their drink look a certain way before it got consumed!Take it from me: Just Love is a good coffee shop. If they had more staff, it would be great. The coffee, pastries, and breakfast items are delicious. There's a super welcoming atmosphere despite the stress level exhibited by the staff. Again. Let me point out: they're doing their best.If you're reading this and decide to go, which I hope you do, go in with patience and kindness. There's a chance that the person behind the register is having a bad day fixing overpriced coffee for an underpriced payrate.

This is a great locally-owned restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had a hearty breakfast with a great cafe au lait. Seeing a womlet listed on the menu made me think what the heck? Turns out, it's an omelet with all the fillings cooked on a waffle iron, then sprinkled with cheddar, accompanied by sour cream and salsa. So, so good! I didn't stop there. I had to try the cinnamon roll, also cooked like a waffle, then drizzled with icing. Needless to say, I felt full and satisfied when I walked out that door. Just Love Coffee is a cute, clean place to grab a meal. And try a womlet. You won't regret it!

The food and coffee is good, but the friendly people are outstanding! To be clear, I'm in a wheelchair, but the staff and even other customers go out of their way to be accommodating. The coffee and food is better than good and very reasonably priced.
