Jupiter Coffee

Just had the best breakfast sandwich ever. Also great coffee and red velvet cake. Highly recommend this place.

Many rave reviews from out-of-towners for Jupiter, which is great - but the South Whidbey Island locals are the real winners to have this amazing cafe. The scones live up to the hype - their baker as achieved the perfect balance of flaky, moist, crumbly and flavorful. Friendly, quality service - no pretension, just nice people (which can be so hard to find now!), and expert baristas. They served up Seattle's Caffe Vita coffee, also sold by the beans, which perfectly complements the tasty treats in the pastry case. Enough seating to hang for a bit, inside or outside, or hop in, hop out - good location in a farm field near Freeland center. My only criticism is that there aren't longer regular hours (a common and understandable challenge for the island). So happy to have Jupiter on Whidbey!

Be warned, this place is JUMPIN' and as a result, there's a lengthy line out of the door. The coffee is fairly priced, tastes great, and the owner truly loves her customers. What else can you ask for? Very sweet.

Today they had frozen Heath bar scones!Never thought I'd get excited about a scone!!!

This spot is an incredible find! Every person working there is so friendly, attentive, and just seems so happy to be working there. The baked goods selection is wonderful, with an array of scone options for only $4 (I chose a dark chocolate cinnamon scone and was not disappointed). I couldn't believe the affordable prices for the coffee ($3 for a latte?! Is this 2010?!), which tasted great. The space isn't huge, so you may not be able to find a seat if it's busy, but there is a back room with additional seating. Do yourself and this lovely business a favor by checking it out!

We visited on a very busy day, and they were so friendly to make time to answer all the questions we had about the menu. The scones and cheese biscuit were delicious, and I thought the drip coffee was excellent. And all at a very reasonable price. We will be back for sure!

A shop worker in Langley suggested I go to this shop and get a scone today. I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Oh my goodness, the BEST scone I have ever had in my life AND it is gluten free. I couldn't even believe how amazing it is! The owner was delightful and clearly passionate about her craft. I also bought some of her take and bake scones for later (and some to share with my family). This will be on my list of "must stops" every time I am on the island from now on. AMAZING!!!

Laura makes THE BEST SCONES I've ever tasted and they're HUGE!!! Her breakfast sandwiches are to die for as well and I can never finish one! I recently ordered a galette and now that's my new favorite. She also serves the best coffee I've ever tasted... Cafe Vita. If there's a line, it's totally worth the wait.
