For June's International Supper Club UYE we picked Junn All You Can Eat Sushi. Junn does not take reservations, so I did arrive a bit early to ensure we would have a table of ten by the meet up time.Dinner is $31.99 for all you can eat and make sure you only order what you can eat!I did order a few things, one of my top rolls was the Jalapeno Hamachi Roll, it was a spicy crab with cucumber roll topped with yellow fish, jalapeno, sriracha and ponzu sauce. So dang good! And I always go with stuffed jalapenos to start with too!Junn's has a great selection of rolls for all you can eat, definitely get your monies worth. If looking for an AYCE, go give Junns a try!

My husband and I have always loved Junn, it was our favorite place to go for years. We hadn't gone back in a while so we decided to go today for our anniversary and things had completely changed. We first were sat in their new back room where rap music was blasting, the atmosphere was dirty and our server was anything but professional. I don't know why we were sat in the back with obnoxious college kids instead of the main restaurant where there was open seating. We had to ask 3 different servers to bring us soy sauce and ginger that should have been ready right away. The server was also rude with his comments and had an attitude that felt like he was better than everyone els. It felt like being inside a frat house. Lastly they must have changed the menu because the sushi rolls are not as well made as we both remembered. Overall my husband and I were very disappointed with our experience. I hope Junn can go back to the way they used to run their sweet sushi shop.

Food 2 1/2 out of 5Ambiance 3/5Service 5/5I attended the unofficial Yelp July's international Supper club dinner event last Thursday. There was a nice bunch of 10 guests that collectively came from the west side, Mesa and Chandler. Out of the four dishes I ordered two were good, one was fair and the last was disappointing. The chirashi poke bowl-six pieces of thinly sliced seafood. Salmon, tuna, shrimp, imitation crab and unagi. Good! The chicken karaage-generous in the portion but not crispy or flavorful. Fair.Tempura shrimp appetizer-arrived hot, crisp and not greasy. Solid!Golden Alaska roll- so soggy. The crab mix, salmon and avocado were out of proportion. A let down. The interior of Junn sushi was starting to show its age. Perhaps it is time to repair the seats for a bit of sprucing up here and there. The service was fantastic! The food started coming out before our beverages. With the handheld order pad, two of my items arrived before the server had finished taking the fourth person's order at our table. All four plate runners were quick and friendly! Kudos to our main server who on the receipt is listed as Dom S. He was humorous and down-to-earth. I'd visit again but try different items.

This place looks a little rundown. All of the tables are chipping and the menus are a little hard to read. They need to be replaced. It is all you can eat so I can see how this place can get used and abused. The music was making my heart race very electronic rave music was playing. The bathroom has a thick layer black mop water build up. But if all of that does not bother you, please come and enjoy all you can eat sushi. This is definitely college vibes, but OK for families and dates too.

For the June 2024 UYE International Supper Club event, we gathered here. I always appreciate the leaders of the ISC organizing these events so we can all experience a new place, meet old friends and make new ones! This place is fairly big, so it can accommodate larger groups, and since we were 10 people, this place worked out nicely. We all got the AYCE option ($31) and you choose from a menu of items. There were some strict rules conveyed to us in that if we had leftover food, we could be charged for it. I appreciated that warning so we don't waste food.I'm a pretty high end fish eater as I grew up eating sushi and sashimi with my grandpa, and he took me to the best places and some in Asia, so I am going to be fairly picky when it comes to raw fish. What I did not like about this AYCE is that sashimi or desserts are not part of this deal at all. I like raw pieces of high quality fish minus rice, and any kind of sauce. I like a nice piece of sashimi and a good amount of wasabi.I tried a few pieces of the nigiri sushi, but can't say anything really stood out. Both options of roe were decent. The unagi was drenched in sauce, so I did not enjoy that. The tuna nigiri was definitely not a fresh piece of fish, and the sushi rice was on the dry side.Seaweed salad was OK, and the agedashi tofu was by far the best dish for me. I'm not much a roll eater and really stay away from tempura as much as I can.Another diner was nice enough to share her chicken kara-age, and it was really dry and not what I expected. I was hoping for more a tender morsel.Overall, a pretty lackluster experience and, with this AYCE and a Kirin Light, my bill came to $50, this includes 18% gratuity and tax. I definitely broke the piggy bank there.I did enjoy the company of the other diners in our group, but I'll pass on a place like this next time.

We arrived on Friday evening right before it got busy so were luckily seated right away. The server came over once we were seated and he was very very laid back. We were ready so we began to order. It was hard to decide on what rolls we wanted but he was very patient. He told us we could order up to 5 dishes each, each time. The rolls were dropped off at different times and it began to get crazy at our table. At one point we had like 7 rolls dropped off within minutes of each other.... We ordered a total of about 15 rolls and 6 side dishes. My favorite side dishes were the shrimp tempura and the miso soup, yummy. Our drinks were kept refilled the entire time and we were checked up on occasionally. Towards the end of our meal, the server began acting a bit strange. He would approach our table and would yawn as were trying to order. It was awkward and we felt as he just wanted to be done with us... We all paid separate tabs at the table and we each paid about $42 with tip. The rolls all tasted fresh and the service was fast.

Went for sushi last night with my family and the little nephew. He ate a lot quite surprisingly since he had the non all you can eat option and got a chicken teriyaki bowl instead. Since he's only 2 years old, glad there were other options besides sushi intake for him. We ordered plenty and the service was great! I forgot the waitress's name who served us but she did amazing service for my family of 7. Especially when my nephew spilled water after he threw his toy elephant on the table which knocked off one of my sister's water, she came and got a mop and replaced with a new drink. And especially when my dad spilled his sake, the waitress came and got another. She was so attentive, nice, and understandable. Thank you so much for the lovely service and apologize for the messBusy on a Sunday between 4-6pm. They even opened the doors to more seating in the back. I love their sushi and def want to come back. They ran out of Bulgogi as I wanted to try it but ordered a lot of rounds of Seared Salmon (one of my faves) especially the Spicy Tuna Chips and Salmon Skin without the Salad hehe. That is so neat that you can have the option to remove the salad on the salmon skin and also just to have the chips without the tuna. Just to munch on the crunchynessDef will be coming back again for more all you can eat sushi!

The sushi is below average. Some is not even fresh. The servers are very friendly. It's a nice layout on a strip mall. For $32 I suggest going to a nice order by piece establishment for a better meal. While it's all you can eat, you'll not want to be eating too much.If you ever had high level sushi grade fish, this will leave you disappointed.
