Wanted to quick joy update my review. I personally prefer this restaurant in town compared to the other local well known one that provides GF. The food once again was flavorful. The service was fast despite them being nearly closed and the food was piping hot.

No. Just No.This used to be my local "go to" for quick, moderately good Chinese take out. It was never excellent, but it used to be good enough. I stopped in today to get dinner for the family. I always order in person for takeout places, to reduce any confusion over the phone. When I ordered, I was told that it would be about 25 minutes as they were pretty busy. The lady at the counter took my name and number to call when it was ready. I left a nice tip for the service that was promised and left to run a quick errand nearby.I returned fifteen minutes later and waited for the call outside. Several other patrons arrived and were waiting for their food also. After 45 minutes, I asked about the status of my order and was told it would be another 10 minutes. At an hour and 15 minutes, I went in to simply ask for my order to be cancelled, but my order was bagged up as just as I got the the door.Ok. Not a huge deal. Just time. Getting home, we had General Tso's, Kung Pau Pork, Curry Chicken, Orange Chicken, some lo main, enrolls, and hot & sour soup. At least that was what we ordered. The egg rolls were fine. Not great, but decent enough to eat. They weren't really hot and seemed to have been sitting around a bit. Turns out the hot and sour soup was actually egg drop soup, so a total miss there. The pork was a bit squidgy and gelatinous. Even though it was labeled as "hot and spicy" on the menu, it was flavorless. The General Tso's was a bit like left-overs and all more than a little slimy. It was also bland and had no chilis or anything in the sauce to kick it up at all. I suspect it was just orange chicken with a bunch of soy sauce added for color. Speaking of orange chicken, it was bright and had a lot of orange flavor. If it had included some veg and been made more fresh, it could have been a good dish. As it was, it was also slippery and only slightly warm. The curry chicken did have flavor and a small amount of spiciness. After my wife fished the mostly whole stewed tomato out of the dish, it was alright. Ok, so I have never been a chicken curry fan, but I don't think I have ever known this dish to have stewed tomatoes. That is just odd.The lo mein was fresh and warm. It had the right amount of flavor and tasted the freshest of all our orders. I get that every place has an off-day. This felt more like they just don't care anymore, or that they are cutting too many corders. They said they were busy, and were clearly having trouble getting orders out, but in the hour or more that I was waiting, only 3-5 patrons left with food. That would include any delivery services as well. That's not enough to convince me there is too much demand on the kitchen. Not sure I'll give this place another shot after tonight. I don't mind a wait for good food. I don't mind mediocre food that's fast. For slop slung into a box that had to be delivered by telegram, it's just a hard pass from here on out.

Jun Ho was our go to for 20 years. In Jan of '24, it was bought by the owners of China Court. They changed all recipes to the China Court recipes. We will never be back.

Definitely one of a kind Americanized Chinese food. They give very large quantity of... somewhat mediocre aka very "Americanized" food. But in this case, they don't have it overly sweet like syrup-y type, but rather lack of flavor other than just salt-- the flavor profile just isn't right, even for Americanized Chinese food. Mostly just salt and lacking the depth of any kind of Asian palate (no sesame oil, no oyster sauce, no msg/umami, I wonder if they even use soy sauce?) It's quite possible they limit "flavor" to plain salt only for Americans or those with allergies, which is a bonus for those that can't have any wheat/soy or just plain averse to msg. Flavor is probably my only complaint about this place. Now I want to highlight what I thought it did really well-- the ingredients were fresh and they do give plenty. The Jun Ho war mien had celery, snap pea, mung bean sprout, water chestnut, shiitake mushroom slices, white mushroom slices, large peeled/gutted shrimp, chicken or pork which were cooked just fine (not too tough). This quality of cooking is not typical with super Americanized Chinese food. Still bewildered by the lack of more authentic flavors. I think it's still a fine place to get your food if you want large quantity of very mediocre tasting food albeit good quality of ingredients. I would suggest adding your own flavored oil/sauce like lao gan ma to the foods. It works just fine!In my older parents words, these types of food are "easy to go down with rice". Their generation cared less about flavors, but as long as the food is salty, they can eat lots of rice with it. I think my dad's generation would've been fine with the quality. They mostly would care about the quantity. One other thing to add: despite they have some seemingly traditional sounding dishes, I called to ask if they could tailor the taste to Asian natives. The receptionist seemed really confused, but it made sense since we realized she was white when we went to pick up the food. It's fine. Anyhow, they are not like some other Am-Ch fast food places that *could* tailor cooking style to Asians vs. non-Asians. Kind of unfortunate but we tried.

Good food and quick service definitely recommend. The food is carry out only but worth it. We've tried other Chinese food in the area and this is our favorite.

Lemon chicken came with no sauce, the chicken itself was as dry as a desert. The orange chicken was no better. Overcooked, dry and sounded like a rock when it got dropped on the plate. The fried rice tasted burnt. The only reason I gave one star is because their crab rangoon was very good. Will definitely not be ordering from here again.

completely gone downhill since I tried it two years ago. I was always happy with the food and ordered at least twice a month. I just ordered a week ago and I gotta say all of a sudden the food has no taste whatsoever and I don't care what they say the egg rolls are frozen because the wrapping is chewy not crisp like they should be. I don't know if there was an ownership change or if they are cutting corners but they have no problem charging us for poor quality food. Im very disappointed in what's going on over there and I'm NEVER spending another dime in this restaurant. It doesn't make me feel good to say these things I rarely write reviews but COME ON
