Julio's Too

Chicken chimichanga was excellent. My friend really like his too. A bit crunchy which I like. Chicken was shredded, juicy, all white meat. A generous portion, took some home for lunch the following day.

First time here, service was good as was the food. Lunch specials were available on weekends. Had a the green pork chili burrito enchilada style, served with rice and beans. Overall good dining experience.

Food was unseasoned and lacked flavor in my opinion. Beans seemed a little too watery. 35 minute wait. Decent customer service. Chips in salsa were decent tho!

I went in to order some food to go. Tried ordering a 2 item combo. Asked for a chicken flauta and a chicken enchilada. Was told they don't do that. If you look online at the menu under los combos it's right there. Both are options listed. Was told sorry, can't be done. They wouldn't sell me a flauta? That is poor customer service. I'll stick to manuell's from now on!! Probably better anyway!!!

Been going here for years and I've never been disappointed! Green corn tamales are bomb but that spinach queso is my favorite and Rodrigo is the best!

Julio's Too must just be rolling in cash because they can afford to turn away customers. This has happened to me twice in the past 2 months. A few weeks ago I tried to call in my order at 6:45 pm, a very reasonable dinner time. A female answered the phone "Julio's Too, we're closed." I said, "oh really, this early?" To which she responded "We close at 7:00" and then she still refused to take my order. So tonight I tried again. Google said they closed at 7:30. I tried calling a few minutes before 7 and no one answered. I called back, someone picked up the receiver and immediately hung up on me without saying a word. I didn't even want Julio's but my daughter had her heart set on it so I decided to drive over and order since I only live a few minutes away. I walked through the door at 7:10 and there were no other customers inside but there were several employees and the "OPEN" light was on. I was greeted by two employees telling me they weren't taking any more orders. I asked if they were open until 7:30 and they said yes and just stared at me for a few seconds and still refused to take my order. I will never go back to Julio Too's or to Julio G's. The way they treat their customers is ridiculous. Caramba is a little further away for me but they would never refuse business, their potato tacos are amazing, and their employees are never rude.

I don't live in the valley anymore, but when I get back to Scottsdale, I always try to make a visit either here or at regular Julio's. Great Mexican food, and great staff.

ThisThis place is awful from the chips & salsa to the chicken fajitas. Don't go here.

Order food to go! Mini chimi's and rice and beans. Food was great! The guy at the register seemed a little upset when we asked for chips and salsa but otherwise always a good fast resort for some Mexican food!

Although this spot was down the road from me, I hadn't heard of it until I search for a new burrito place to try. I ended up splurging for the Machaca beef burrito lunch special, and I am beyond pleased! Aside from a big burrito enchilada style, lots of rice, and beans, they gave me a bag of chips and a hearty portion of salsa. Food is good. Price is great. Whats not to love?
