I really can't say enough good things about Juicy Cafe. I just discovered it a couple weeks ago and it has changed my life! I have been here for lunch EVERY day since. I work downtown and want a healthy, affordable, fast, easy, delicious, filling lunch. This is the ONLY place that hits every mark for me. I'm just obsessed. I've been telling everyone. I can't believe it's been around for 30 years and I never knew?!?!?! Also! Everyone who works here is super nice and accommodating

Personal fav is the peanut bowl with sweet potato, but there's a lot of great items to choose from! Everyone from my office comes here almost daily to have something healthy. The chocolate power balls are also great for that mid day sweet tooth. It's a small place in the middle of downtown, owner ran, and locally sourced. If you work nearby and you're bored of the same sandwiches, wraps, burritos--just give it a try!

I tried Juicy Cafe through the Ritual app and got the Acai Bowl which came out to ~$11. Overall, the acai portion was tasty and they give you a good amount of toppings, but the price is a little steep for how much you get in comparison to other places. The blueberries were also on the smaller side. Compared to some other places that include granola, goji berries, nuts, or other nutritious ingredients, the variety of ingredients in Juicy Cafe bowls is quite limited. All in all, the bowl is a nice pick-me-up if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this since it's on the smaller side and I've had better.

I wasn't too hungry one day because I had a late breakfast, so I decided to get a smoothie for lunch. Located inside of Columbia Tower if you were wondering. Good sized menu with quite a bit of options, so I'm standing there wondering what in the hell I should get. I couldn't make up my mind so I just went with one of the classic smoothies they had and got the Blueberry Muffin. It was pretty good, freshly blended and made to order. 20oz for over $6 is a bit pricey. But what am I going to do, bring my own blender and fresh fruits to work and blend at my desk? It's blueberries, bananas and rice milk. Service was ok, they seem to not put any urgency on getting your order out, will stop and have side conversations when we are all standing there waiting for our orders and can totally hear what they are saying. I don't care how much your beanie cost. I can see some of the similar frustrations with other people standing there with me. Anyways, may check it out again.

I was randomly craving an acai bowl one morning and Yelp showed me this was the closest spot to me so I gave it a try and I was beyond pleased. This spot is on the second floor of the Columbia Tower and it looks pretty popular as there was a little line when i arrived. It was one of the best acai bowls i've had yet, and for $11, its not too outrageously priced. Even though the price tag is a little higher, it was very well worth it. The portion was great and the balance of flavors was very ideal while the ingredients were defintiely very fresh.I will definitely be back for more and I'll try the different variations of smoothie bowls they have to offer!

I don't understand the hype of this place at all. When I said I wanted healthier options for lunch, I meant something healthier than greasy burgers and fried chicken, not bland overpriced salads. Maybe I would've been less disappointed if they'd marketed themselves as a vegetarian/vegan place, but they don't really advertise the fact that all of their menu options are vegetarian and you have to pay extra to add bland dry chicken if you're trying to get a little extra protein.I've also tried their smoothie bowls a few times and they're basically just overly sweet bowls of cereal (imagine if you left a bowl of fruit loops sitting around and then pulverized it and added some granola).

SUCH a great option if you want to EAT healthy without having your food TASTE healthy. The Columbia Center has a ton of great food options & I was totally looking forward to checking them allllll out, but this spot may end up being a repeat offender (I mean, sometimes a girl's just gotta have her tots, but the REST of the time, this is where you'll find me).I went for the Baja Cali Bowl as a salad (after reluctantly walking away from the taco place downstairs) 2with fresh spinach & added chicken. YUM!! Their ingredient proportions are perfect - just enough shredded cheese to make it taste cheesy but not heavy, generous guacamole portion - and everything is perfectly distribute when they toss it! I forgot to nix the jalapeños and having them in there didn't hurt a bit! (Side note: if you are a serious jalapeño-lover, maybe ask for some extra?) My only regret is not asking for a mini bowl ($6 !!!) instead of their normal size. It's not prominently advertised on their menu (but it is on their website). At 325kcal for the full bowl (plus however much the chicken is), it's not like I have any guilt about devouring the entire thing (which I obviously did), but I am definitely full.I also grabbed a Green Religion Juice (kale + spinach + celery + cucumber + lemon + ginger - 70kcal) which (and this is my fault) was a little TOO green for me (in my mind there was apple in it, in reality there is not). No matter! Still delicious and next time I'll work on my menu comprehension! Definitely will be back to try the other bowls & bases (brown rice! sweet potato! ZOODLES!!!), And MIGHT even sneak back for their avocado toast tomorrow morning... (breakfast served til 10:30am y'all!)

Next best thing to verve I'd have to say! Fairly priced and the menu is endless! Lots of great option for GF, VF, V, pretty much anything for anyone with dietary restrictions. Their açaí bowls are beautifully decorated with fruit and are completely guilt free. Love it, and it's even better now that Columbia tower finished its renovation, there is actually seating near by to people watch if that's your fancy :)

Ordered the beet chicken salad and got horrible food poisoning. Do not recommend. In retrospect, it did look like the ingredients were sitting out for a very long time (I got the salad at 2pm)

I came here for the first time after seeing this place for years. I got a "gyro bowl" with ground turkey, lettuce, kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, bell peppers, feta and rice. Not only did they forget to make my order (while I waited nearly 10 minutes, watching everyone else pick up theirs), when I opened my to-go container, the food looked less than appetizing. The zucchini and bell peppers were so over cooked, they were complete mush. The food itself was bland, and there was about 1/2 cup of liquid at the bottom of the container. I was hoping for a fresh grab-and-go lunch, and was left with tasteless, soggy food. I will not be going here again.
