Great little indie burger shop in North Park. The service was fast and friendly enough, the place spotlessly clean, and the food good, inexpensive, and fresh.Great little spot to pop into for a quick burger if you're in the neighborhood.

Sunday 17MAR2024, my girlfriend, her mom, my son, and I came to this place because we wanted to try "something new" this burger place by far exceeds that and then some!My girlfriend and her mom ordered the bacon avocado burger and they loved it, confidently saying it was "juicy, flavorful, and got better with every bite!"My son got the grilled cheese w/bacon and normally he says food is good, but this time he said it was amazing and wanted more.I got the pictured hangover burger with fries and drink, it was the single patty but I still had to press it down because of how big it was. By far the best burger I've had in all of San Diego!The service was great as well: the cashier was patient with us and we had the rare opportunity of talking to the founder! He was really nice as well and asked us how we felt about our visit.The ambiance was pretty basic, but what set this place apart from everywhere else and put it on its own level was how clean the place was! "Downfall"-the parking is a shared parking lot with all the other businesses in the little strip, and the typical El Cajon/north park drivers suck at driving/parking so it was hard to get a spot. I wish they had diagnosed parking spots for this establishment, but it is what it is. Overall rating: 9.4 of 10.

Very inexpensive (for 2024) burger joint. Very basic interior, and the food came out fast and hot. Counter order and pickup, but the cashier was helpful. Got an original burger that is just as you'd expect, but the bun was a bit dry. A surprisingly meaty patty for the price, I also ordered fries and cheese curds which were cooked in good oil, and seasoned well. I don't see fried cheese curds often in San Diego, and they weren't the best or worst I've had in my travels so I will take that as a win!Pretty good food that could be a 5 star if not for the bun, at super cheap prices. Hope they make it!

I feel like it took a looong time for this spot to finally open., right? I like the taquito spot next door and I remember they had the coming soon sign up forever. Anyway excited to finally give it a try. I don't eat too much red meat but every once in a while I crave a beef burger. So today the craving hits and normally I would go to five guys close by but DANG!! They want $15+ for a burger over there? There's places in the world where I could literally get five guys for that amount! Just kidding. Human trafficking is a serious issue. But you get my point. $15.50 is outrageous for just a burger. Add in fries, drink & tip and you're looking at $30. Bruh... So back to today, I'm craving a burger and trying to be frugal because I wiped out my life savings buying a dozen eggs yesterday. So I remember this place and decide to try it. I got the classic burger combo which comes with fries and a fountain drink for $10.88!!!! Ten eighty eight... so already I'm like for that price if this burger is even half decent I'll be happy. But y'all.... This burger was so good!!!! Juicy, as advertised. The patty was well seasoned with good flavor and not overcooked. Toppings were fresh, the brioche bun was toasted on one side, fresh and soft on the other. Just an all around good burger. The fries were perfect, hot and crispy with just enough salt. The customer service was great too!! The cashier answered my questions and didn't rush me to order. I watched them make the food while I waited and they asked me if I wanted ketchup and napkins in the bag before handing me my order with a smile. I'm so glad I gave this place a try. Definitely gonna be my new go to spot for burger cravings!

First bite and all of the flavors bursting on my pallette. A slightly sweet roll, the fresh spinach, melty cheesey goodness with a JUICY burger (yes!) The fries, the fries. Thin and crisp, tossed with the right amount of salt. A small size is maybe a medium at another fast food restaurant. They are packed into a paper made box so they should still be hot when you get them home.Juicy Burgers offers a soda fountain, beer on tap, and another variety of cold drinks in a fridge.Don't leave without an ice cream frostie!Good valueNice staffDeliciousFree parking lotSpecials

Fantastic burgers and a huge menu! It was our first time visiting, Juicy Burgers and I wasn't even expecting all this amazing was. They had onion rings, cheese curds, and you can get about 20 different toppings on your burger. Definitely makes it live up to its name. The staff is friendly, polite, and courteous. The restaurant was immaculately clean, including the restrooms. It's in a strip mall on El Cajon Blvd. alongside other restaurants if one of your friends wants some thing else but this place is the place to be. Why would you go to any other burger place when Juicy Burgers gives you humongous burgers for the same price as the small burgers at other places. Right now they have a great lunch special where you can get a burger, fries, and a drink for $11.99 Plenty of free parking right out front. P.S.please put a purse hook in the bathroom. We'll be back soon!

The space is clean and well lit, and the people working were friendly and the service was fast but I likely will not come back. I tried it since they take the Synergy gift card Costco sells but I never waste food and could not finish my burger or onion rings. The burger was so so so dry. Even with all the sauce from the free toppings list. The onion rings were also somehow too dry and I could barely bite or chew it. I ate 1.5 rings and gave up. It went in the trash. Hopefully my experience was a one off but it is nothing to go out of the way for.

Juicy Burgers used to have a presence in the now defunct Horton Plaza shopping complex in downtown back in the day. This new location is in a small strip of businesses in the North Park neighborhood. The parking spaces in the shared lot were narrow as it was difficult to pull in and open a door without making contact with an adjacent vehicle. The inside of the suite was clean and brightly lit. The seating capacity was sufficient for approximately 30 diners across four large tables, four two-tops, and a long countertop in front of the kitchen preparation area.The menu was centered around creating your own burgers. The middle screen listed the signature burgers (5), chicken sandwiches (3), and signature wings (8 flavors and 4 serving sizes). Appetizers, desserts, and beverages rounded out the offerings. Two sizes of burger patties were available, 1/3 lb and 1/2 lb. It's a lot of beef in either case. The signature burgers were prepared using the smaller patty.I ordered the Spinach Swiss Burger and a side of Onion Rings for my meal. The latter came as eight pieces. The burger was dressed with grilled spinach, grilled onions, swiss cheese, and sauteed mushrooms. Mayonnaise was also a condiment, but I asked for that to be withheld. The patty was cooked to a medium degree which left little pinkness in the meat and made it less juicy. I wish they would have asked me how much doneness I wanted for the burger because medium rare would have been my choice.The prices were on par with what 'gourmet' burgers places are charging nowadays. The service was pleasant as a husband and wife duo are running the operation. Overall, I gave my dining experience at Juicy Burgers a 3.5 star rating.

Amazing burger's and Tsurumi was and has very great costumer services. Very clean place

The customer after me walked in and exclaimed, "Got any juicy burgers?!" My answer to that question is that they have excellent service, fresh burger accoutrements, but a burger that is not terribly juicy. Overall, it was a satisfying burger because of the size of the patty, the soft bun, fresh ingredients, and the fact that seems made to order. However, the patty itself was on the dry side. I hope that can be remedied in future iterations of their burger. Though, I doubt a chain is going to change anything based on my opinion...The service was remarkable. The person behind the counter took the time to carefully explain the menu. When I asked if the fries are thin or thick cut, they threw out some trivia: their fries are from the same distributor that McDonald's uses. The fries here were, in fact, about the same size as McD's fries but were less salty and they were crispier (the latter will disappoint those that like the sporadic soggy McD fry. You know what I'm talking about). I plan to make a return visit to try another burger. Hoping for a juicy one.
