I recently hosted an event at Joya/The Boardwalk. Everything went very smoothly - I appreciated Kristin's flexibility with many last minute changes. The venue was responsiveness to our questions and set-up needs. Our event ran very smoothly thanks to their attention to detail and care. The food was all delicious as well. The venue itself is stunning, great views of the canyon and excellent amenities for hosting meetings and events. I highly recommend considering Joya for lunch and the Boardwalk for your next meeting or event!

Great lunch option if you work in the area. On the pricier end if you don't work in the building and have the building discount. Beautiful open space inside and out to enjoy your meal. There was a good variety of food options from sandwiches, salads, smoothies, to tacos. I got the shrimp tacos. Although I enjoyed the taco flavors, there was too much tortilla for the amount of filling. Fries were delicious.

We decided to try happy hour with some friends. My husband and kids came along since I heard about their open concept space and outdoor games. The place is conveniently located off the 5 freeway taking the Genesee Ave exit and heading east. You go up the hill slightly and make a right and the restaurant is in a corporate area. You'll see the signage on the right and you can either park in the front of the building or the back (which we did). Free parking anywhere and there's quite a bit of space. When we arrived it was around 530pm. There was one large party and us. A half hour later it got pretty busy. We ordered our food and drinks at the counter and found a booth to share. There is ample seating and great for large groups. There is indoor and outdoor seating available as well as bar seating. The place is large scale and lots of outdoor games and grassy areas to pass the time esp at happy hour. We ordered the chips and salsa and guac, garlic fries, burger, and steak quesadilla. My husband got a canned happy hour drink which was pretty tasty. My kids enjoyed the fries. Good portion and came out crispy. The chips and salsa/guac and pretty standard. I would have preferred my guac to have more citrus flavoring (squeeze of lime maybe?); a little bland. The burger had 2 patties with cheese. My stomach was ehhh after and I couldn't figure out if it was too greasy for me or my stomach was just upset. My daughter likes the quesadilla. Came with 3 slices and was filling. We enjoyed the outdoor space very much. My kids loved running around and playing with the corn hole game. There's also a pool table inside and ping pong tables and foosball available outdoor. I would def come back just because my kids enjoyed themselves so much. Happy hour is only Tues-Thursday until 7p with last call to order food at 6pm. Get there early to enjoy the space! Too bad they aren't open on weekends otherwise we would be here all the time!!!

I LOVE this place!! What a gem among the research institutes and centers. The food is fantastic and it's so thoughtfully designed for casual and business meetings. The people are super friendly and helpful. It's great for a breakfast meeting to a happy hour with colleagues--I repeat- I love this place!

I've been wanting to check out Joya for a while now, but their hours were very limited. I was able go one Friday afternoon for happy hour back in August! The area is very spacious! There is a pool table inside and ping pong in the lawn area.We sat at the bar and I decided to try their blue green ocean smoothie. It came with blueberries, pineapple, banana, coconut, agave, spiralina, and kale. It was nice of them to split it for us. It was a darker blue than I normally see with spirulina, but was very refreshing and healthy! From the happy hour menu, we chose the tuna poke bowl and Baja shrimp tacos. The food was pretty good and were nice portions. We ran into a friend of ours and she let us try some of her food. I had some of the quesadilla, fries, and salad. Everything was very tasty!

I found the perfect place to work remotely! The seating is very comfortable and allows me to get work done for a couple of hours. The views of the mountains are gorgeous, and the outside setting is top-tier. However, the coffee here is not good, and the food lacks flavor. Nonetheless, I don't come here for the food. it's just a nice place to work from.

What an awful customer service. I don't even get to experience their kitchen because the manager was extremely rude. I was at the dancing event organised by Majesty in motion. I brought my own bottle with much needed medicine inside of the bottle. Majesty's security couldn't explain why it's not allowed, and simply asked me to leave. That's a whole different story. I'm here to address Joya's manager's action. I was suggested to speak with Joya's owner to address this question on why my water with medicine isn't allowed. Security of Joya (or the property) invited Joya's manager. Instead of hearing me and my question, and simply be nice at least, he right away said that I can't bring my own beverage to this place, and he doesn't have to explain why. I tried telling him that I never have a problem bringing my own water to any restaurant. He said that if I go to a club, They wouldn't allow me. What Joya kitchen has to do with a club? Well, I guess tonight it was because of the dancing event. Anyhow, I've asked if he knows the law section that would explain how it's not allowed to bring own water with much needed medicine deluged in it. He kept interrupting telling me he doesn't owe me any explanations, and simply walked away. WOW, what a "great" representation of Joya. I don't recommend this place to anyone because if you have a simple question that is addressed to the manager, you won't be heard, you'll be interrupted and rudely ignored. 1 star for a terrible customer service.

Such a hidden gem. My friend and I came for happy hour and Alex took care of us and was super friendly. She provided great recommendations and is super bubbly. Our food came out quickly and tasted great.

Beautiful place to have a business meeting. My team and I spent the day here for our retreat, so we had breakfast and lunch here. Smoothies and lattes were really good. Good lunch options too. My team enjoyed their sandwiches, burger and salads. Prices are a bit steep for what it is, but you're paying for atmosphere too. We spent the morning indoors and moved outside in the afternoon. The outside area was a little loud because there was a lot of helicopter activity happening at the time.

Our food was excellent. my husband was having a stay at Scripps Hospital and it was much better to pick up food here than the hospital food. The Tuna Melt was excellent as well as the Blue Eye Tuna Bowl.
