*** 3.5 Stars ***Solid take-out spot that offers a good price : quantity ratio. Less flavorful and a bit lower quality than some other, more expensive spots, but a solid choice for a casual night of Chinese takeout when price and convenience is a concern. We frequent Joy Luck mostly because of the moo shi which, for some reason, can be hard to find on take out menus. Dislike that they charge for rice ($3.5 for small, $7 for large) but I guess they keep their prices low by keeping things basic. I'd say that all of the dishes are a solid 3.5 stars but a good value. The peking duck is not the best that I've had but pretty good for $28 for 1/2 a duck. Paradise chicken came with snow pea shoots and mushrooms which I enjoyed, but the chicken itself was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. Basil eggplant was good, but the tofu was fried when I would have preferred it steamed. Don't expect to be blown away here, but do expect to have your Chinese food craving sufficiently satisfied.

Big fan right from the start! Prompt delivery, food always arrives hot, and the flavors are great. I also love that I can order a regular size on rices and other dishes so I don't have excessive amounts of leftovers if I'm ordering for just 2 people. Finally my search to replace the Lotus Blossom is over. Love it here!

These photos are of the grease that came out of my egg roll. Chicken wings tasted of soap and were of poor quality. Chicken fingers dry and soapy tasting. Threw it all in the trash. Basically a waste of money. Would not recommend.

This place deserves 5 starts for what it is: some of the best American Chinese food around. General Tao's chicken is great (I asked for it extra extra spicy). Beef chow fun is solid. Takeout service is fast and efficient. It's not overly greasy and ingredients are good quality. I called in an order at 5:40, left my house, picked up some wine and then the food, and was back at my house by 6:00pm.

Do not order lo mien from this store. You get lots of noodles and barely anything of the premium choice (shrimp, vegetables, whatever). The cook puts the premium choice on the top of the box, maybe a few pieces, but there is nothing but noodles underneath. Not worth the price.

The dumplings are so doughy. The ribs have a lot of fat. The spring rolls have so much mushroom that they tasted dirty. Sweet and sour chicken was alright.

The food was truly amazing. Ordered chicken with garlic sauce combo plate with an egg roll. Delivery came faster than expected, and the food was loaded with chicken and lots of fresh vegetables. I am here on business, and I will definitely order from Joy Luck again!
