Great food! We got plates to go for lunch and it was ready quickly and so delicious. We will be ordering from here again. This spot is located in Golf Mill mall food court.

Don't sleep on Joy Korea! This is literally one of the two food court vendors that are still in existence inside the defunct Golf Mill mall - the place is going to go through complete renovation soon, but Joy Korea still keeps its patrons coming! After receiving a haircut, it was highly recommended to us to check Joy Korea out; appearances can be deceiving, because usually food court places tend to be a bit lackluster. The menu offers various 'BBQ', such as chicken and spicy chicken, chicken breast and spicy chicken breast, galbi, bulgogi and spicy bulgogi, pork and spicy pork (jaeyook bokeum), and shrimp; they also have chicken and pork katsu, japchae, bibimbop, ramen, soondooboo, and various sides (such as potstickers, eggrolls, kimchi, etc.).We tried the spicy pork, and it was pretty delicious! They prepare this over an open flame, so you have that nice flame/char taste to the meats; the marinade was flavorful, and the meal came with rice and various sides that were packed well.Definitely would like to check out the rest of the menu on the next visit.+flame-cooked KBBQ meats+located inside Golf Mill mall+plenty of parking

"Joy Korea" can be considered the only joy for the mall food court that has been dead for awhile. It is located inside the Golf Mills Shopping Center, by the Ulta entrance. I don't usually head that way for any business. However, my partner and I took our son for a portrait session in the nearby JC Penney and felt hungry afterward. It is atypical to see authentic Korean home cooking is any mall food court, but this place is just as good as any other fast food choices you would encounter. Their offerings are pretty simple: various grilled meats, katsu, bibimbap, japchae, and banchans. I had their beef bogulgi bibimbap. They gave me two (2) types of sauces, a sweet bbq one and a slightly spicy one. I was especially fond of the sauces. The meat was grilled nicely and some were charred the way I liked. It was nice to see a side of miso soup with this, yet it would be much better if there was banchan included, such as kimchi and horseradish, for the price I paid. I saw the sign saying they close on Mondays, so just keep that in mind. There is a $5 minimum for using a credit card, which is understandable as well.

Surprised to find a quick spot to eat good Korean food in the mall! I had very low expectations, knowing it is at a stall in the mall. Surprisingly, the bulgogi tasted fire grilled, same with the fried rice. Ramen was dressed with bulgogi and a hit with the kids. Tonkatsu (pork cutlets) were perfectly cooked and breaded. Kimchi was flavors balanced perfectly between fresh and slightly sour. Quick, delicious and friendly. They also offer catering at a comparable price...

A hidden gem inside deserted Golf mill!! You can order ahead online and pick up, that's what we did. Their spicy pork is SO good. It comes with a side salad and white rice, the portion is very generous, the meat is so flavorful and smoky like it was charcoal grilled. The side salad dressing is also amazing, has this nutty flavor but still light and sweet.

I found this spot scrolling on Uber eats, and I am glad I did. It's sad that this mall is dead because this Restaurant is not. I ordered the Combo which gave me a choice of 2 proteins served with 2 sides. I opted for the Beef and shrimp, with fried rice and miso soup for my sides. The fried rice was extra adding a fee of 2$ to the already 17-dollar meal. When I got the food I was eager to try it because of the pretty plating. Usually, most restaurants do not plate for carryout, they just shove it in a box and move on, but this place clearly cared. The beef was tender and cut thin with sweet notes, and the shrimp was thick and salty, just how I like it. The fried rice was superb as well and the miso soup was a nice addition to wrap it all up. I cannot speak on service because I ordered on uber eats, but It looked as if they put as much care into the meal as they would someone dining in. I would definitely be ordering again from this spot as my only complaint is the price. Good job Joy Korea!

I was looking for a quick, warm meal in peace after the gym, so having Joy Korea in the Golf Mill mall food court was perfect for me. I was craving quick Korean food for a good price but didn't want to face the weekend crowd at places like HMart or Assi. At Joy Korea, I ordered the spicy chicken plate and it was so good. The chicken was tender and juicy - it had a spicy kick but not one that would light your mouth on fire which I appreciate. The meal came with a small side salad that was really fresh. With the large portion overall, I ended up eating half and taking the rest home.
