Jollof Plus

Enjoyed Jollof Plus for catered lunch in the office today. Bravo for bringing the flavors of West Africa to San Diego.

This is my second time coming here. My friend and I LOVED the egusi with fufu whatever bad reviews on here are just sad people who don't like ghost kitchens or use a long wait time as an excuse to give a place a 1 star rating. Everything else aside, the egusi is so delicious and the owners are very kind people. We didn't have to wait long, only about 10 minutes for freshly pounded fufu and delicious soup. I have yet to try the other food items offered, so definitely next time I'll give them a try. The portions are very generous, it will get you full very quick and make you feel happy with a full stomach. :) highly recommend trying this place out!

So I was in town and had to get some African food lol, the portion size was amazing!! The fish was sooooooooo good and the jollof rice, I wish my fish did have more sauce because I am a sauce person but it was good overall, if only I had some hot pepper sauce then i really would have been in heaven, I did do Uber eats so it's only so many options I actually had!!!

I did not realize this place was the same ghost kitchen as coconut girl kitchen. I saw their restaurant and ordered. I go to the place and realize it is a ghost kitchen not a real restaurant. I go there all dark inside and I check my phone after driving here the "restaurant" canceled my order. It was schedule for 930pm pick up and the "restaurant" canceled at 922pm. Outrageous waste of time. Be careful of this ghost kitchen. Slimey sales practices. Bait and switch.

The Jollof rice was very good. I highly recommend it. I have tried Jollof rice all over the country and this was on par with the best.

Food tastes good. Jollof rice, chicken and plantain are my absolute favorite. Friendly service too.

Super good food! Got the fufu and egusi soup with chicken which was super tender. Only downside was the wait - apparently their system was down so they didn't receive my order but the second I called them they made my order in less than 10 minutes

Absolutely the worst service model I've ever experienced. The website allows you to place an order when the restaurant is not open (the hours posted say it is open) and when you try to contact someone you cannot get a hold of anyone until hours later in the day. I was assured a full refund over the phone considering I never received any of my order and they still charged my card for the $30 of food that I never got. Do not come here.

It's nice to find a place in San Diego serving West African cuisine (although this apparently is a ghost kitchen providing only delivery and takeout service). We tried a variety of dishes and were happy overall. The fufu with goat meat and peanut soup was particularly good. The jollof rice with chicken and fried plantains was flavorful but a bit dry. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but it was a busy time of day so I make allowances.

Super good! Friendly service! Can't wait for them to serve and add beef to their menu
