What a great restaurant! Has a very old school look, servers in bow tie tuxedo kind of place. Packed on a Wednesday. Crab leg apps, steaks, fish, fried chicken specialty. The line caught king salmon is fantastic. The roasted corn side is sweet and succulent. Service is professional to the hilt. All orders drop at the same time. Drinks refilled immediately including water. Table blade cleaned. Want top shelf, this is your place.

Every time I enter this place I am always surprised with how pleasant of an experience I have. It seems stuffy--white tablecloths and such but it never is. This last experience was nice. I went with a group of my friends and we shared apps, sides, and had individual entrees. We were recommended some great ones by our server and could not have been more pleased. I ate the salmon as usual and it's so good!! The desserts are worth it so you better leave room for them! I didn't know I liked key lime pie until I had theirs. Of course I only take a photo of the crab cake because it's my favorite thing.

Unplanned stop in for lunch. We were surprised to see one our our Miami mainstays in Chicago ( we do not visit frequently)Service was epicMenu offerings was similar to the Miami legacy; something for everyone and in every price rangeMy wife's crab cake entree was good to great. The filler to crab ratio favored the filler (just charge more for a more crab centric cake)My wild salmon was perfectly suitableThe Lyonnaise potatoes stole the show. Perfect. Closed it out with shared key lime pie. Great balance of tart and sweet. The service and dining room is an ode to the formal experience dining out was in prior years.

I can't visit Chicago without dining at Joe's! It's just everything.The food is amazing. The service is amazing and I love the vibe of the restaurant. I can't wait to come back!

Safe to say it's one of my favorite chains I've dined twice in last 30 days, largely due to the bone in halibut seasonal offering. Service is routinely stellar but I do find it frustrating on occasion that the wait time with a reservation is often 10+ minutes, which is problematic if you're on a tight timeline. I've never dined in the bar area, but it keeps a crowd and is a great option without a reservation. Another favorable aspect of dining here is that they're a Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant so you can earn rewards when you dine. For every $140 you spend with LEY, you earn $10 in rewards.

What a great meal! The ambiance is upscale, and the service was amazing. I could barely take a sip of water without a refill. The menu has a lot of great options from seafood to chicken and beef. The breadbasket had a nice assortment, and it was hard to resist asking for another round.The fried chicken may seem like a less elegant choice, but man, it is made fresh and it's worth waiting for. It's also a huge portion coming out so hot you may need a minute to eat it, but it had a crunchy outside and soft inside. The grilled seafood platter had an array of tasty items, including giant shrimp and scallops along with 2 lobster tails. It was a meal fit for a king!For sides, the mac n cheese is a real winner with that amazing baked crust on top. The sweet potato was nice, but the praline pecan butter really took a nice vegetable and made it into a mini dessert.It was packed even early in the evening, so make sure you make a reservation. Every part of the experience was masterful. You will not be disappointed coming here.

I continue to enjoy coming here with my family and friends year after year. Food is always great and the service is exceptional. I recommend saving room for a slice of pie at the end of the meal too.On a recent visit during lunch, we brought our baby for the first time and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. They checked in our stroller for us in coat check and already had the car seat sling ready at our table. Coming in at lunch time on a Sunday also helped the experience because the restaurant was not packed yet so we had plenty of space from other tables.

Staying at a hotel nearby, I decided to try Joe's. I went in at 5:30 on a Monday and it was packed. Because I was a party of 1, I waited for a seat at the bar. After 20 I was able to squeeze into a seat It was loud & crowded so I decided to get foood to go. I ordered a glass of Caymus which did taste a little told but the food was all very good and the bartenders were awesome.

Joes exceeded my expectations. I didn't have a reservation so I sat at the bar and I'm happy I did. I met the bartender Staats and he was an excellent server too. I ordered surf an turf, filet mignon with a big lobster tail. Probably the biggest I've had since my business trip started. It was delicious. Paired with their signature old fashion. If I could give this place 10-stars I would for just the atmosphere, the ambiance and friendliness of the staff.

The ambiance was nice and the service was quick, always had plenty of water on the table. I ordered the Colossal Crab Cake and Seafood platter and my girlfriend had the salmon, we also ordered the macaroni and broccolini. I didn't care for the broccolini but my gf did. The bread that came out before dinner was amazing too I didn't expect that. Definitely would come bacc again.
