Joe Muer Seafood - Nashville

We had a lovely celebratory dinner experience at Joe Muer! It really is the perfect mix of old school high end dining with a beautiful modern space and food. If you're on the fence about any of the seafood platters - just do it. It's delicious really fresh seafood! For our mains we had Dover Sole and the lobster tail which were soooo decadent and lovely.Our waiter Aaron was lovely. Very helpful with navigating the menu and making our experience special. A 10/10 experience in Nashville!

Beautiful restaurant, great location, but some challenges past that. Service was slow/lacking albeit friendly and kind. Valet also slow. Tomato cobbler was good, shrimp cocktail and west coast oysters were good, as was the bread service. We had to send back one dish that was off, calamari wasn't great, and the dessert was greasy? Drinks were good but extremely slow, we saw them on the bar so it wasn't the bartender but rather the service. The servers do a lot of table side service on the entrees which may be the problem with the overall speed of service. It took our waiter and another waiter (not assistant) almost four minutes to debone two entrees at the table behind us. My husband is lactose intolerant and there were very few non-dairy sides so they offered grilled asparagus, but it came out covered in chopped hard boiled eggs. Just a little peculiar. Very small whiskey/bourbon selection for this part of the county. This is probably personal preference, but the sides are steakhouse sides and not really seafood sides. Really beautiful restaurant...lots of potential but failing short on execution.

Great food, great service, ambiance is lovely! We had an anniversary splurge and it was well worth the cost! The specialty bone-in ribeye was insanely mouthwatering. I can't stop thinking about it. The seafood tower was nice and my husbands' lobster entree was great. Hostesses were considerate, server/sommelier was highly educated on the menu and all support staff did a fantastic job. Parking was a breeze.

Amazing!! Look no further. Great service and best seafood in Nashville. Please open an Andiamo also, yum.

Joe Muer offers what is likely the best fine dining seafood experience in Nashville. The service is excellent including detailed descriptions of each dish with fantastic recommendations. The kitchen times and paces meal delivery very well with no gaps between courses. The food is excellently prepared; we enjoyed seafood from the raw as well as the George's Bank Sea Scallops. Portioning was well balanced to enjoy multiple courses without feeling too full. The amuse bouche and sorbet finish provided a delightful diversion as the meal progressed as well.

Love Joe Muer's! The food is always top notch, the service is even better. Barrett always takes great care of us and we always request him when we go here.

From the minute you enter the building you feel special. The interior is red and beautiful!! The piano player is fantastic! Kevin our server was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The oysters Rockefeller was the best I had ever eaten. The balance of spices on the oyster was perfect! I highly recommend trying this lovely establishment.

My husband hates small plate places...so I needed impeccable taste and size...Joe Muer delivered! Food was fresh and fantastic. Lobster pot pie was wonderful. Cocktails were excellent. Our server was Hileen and she was top notch. We left stuffed. So this was a win for my marriage. Will return!

Love, Love, Love! My new favorite seafood restaurant! Amazing service and Ambiance! The hostess and waitress staff were top tier, and enjoyed the live music (piano) My first time going. I started off the Lobster Bisque (it's a must - rich and thick and has lots of lobster ) and calamari (it's okay). For my entree I ordered the Red fish which was cooked to perfection and the hush puppies were so delicious; I could have ate them all night. I also ordered the sea scallops, which was another amazing dish! My friend ordered the sea bass it was okay, not as good as the red fish! The drinks are amazing and although I'm not a big fan of desert I love a good crème brûlée and theirs did not disappoint. I HIGHLY recommend Joe Muer and will be back to try more!!!

Sunday, October 13, 2024, was the first day for the addition of "Sunday Brunch" to the menu. There were several hiccups during our visit, which our party of five fully expected when you are trying out something new. We did call the manager to the table and she was very understanding and accommodating. We did appreciate this kind of service and appreciation for the comments. For some in our party, this was our second visit - original was for dinner. We fully expect to return.
