This place has good Filipino food. And I can't say that about a lot of Filipino restaurants in SD. As a full Filipino myself, I'm already critical when it comes to our cultures dishes. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon, just one hour before closing. The employees are super sweet. Shout out to Christina who helped me! I took a combination plate to-go with chicken adobo and longanisa. Our favorite was the longanisa! Super flavorful and not too sweet. The chicken adobo was good, a lot of bones though, so be careful! I ordered the Sinigang Sabaw (soup) on the side. Sooo good. The ambiance is cute! I love how it's also a little market with Filipino snacks, goodies, drinks and fresh vegetables too! I got the salt and vinegar chips and ube pillows. SO TASTY. I'm going to come back for those. My husband and I were hungry so I'll take a picture of the food next time :)

It's my GO-TO Turo Turo place when I'm craving Filipino food. They have variety of dishes and big serving! Their kare kare and sinigang na baboy are very good! The staff serving food are always very nice and friendly.

The chicken adobo was alright (I like Jochi's adobo better). The ground beef with peas and pimentos was so oily! They didn't drained the ground beef after they browned it! They just added the rest of the ingredients. The oil was so thick, I drained about three tablespoonfuls of it out!Service was poor! A guy walked in after me and they greeted and helped him first!

First time here and man the food for one was super expensive, and the quality was mediocre. They add $1-$2 extra for all of the normal food on their menu. Pretty much the only things included in a 2 item combo is pancit, adobo and a bbq stick. Other than that, everything is extra money on top of the $11.50 they charge for a plate. 80 cents charged for each lumpia too. I asked for extra sauce for the lechon and she stated "we have to make some more, so you're only allowed 1" I was a bit confused. Like you can charge me for extra too if you need to. SMH. What stood out the most was the halo halo. $6.00 for regular and $7.00 for special. I ordered the special. I figured, I was craving, so why not splurge. I'm driving home and boom I open this sorry looking halo halo, missing all of the staple ingredients. The beans, the pandan, the leche Flan etc. the quantity of what was actually added was so cheap too. Their attempt to add a "scoop" of ube ice cream too? REALLY?! Why did you even try? STRAIGHT TRASH!!!! This has been the worse Filipino restaurant I've ever been to. I guess that's what I get for trying a new spot. The quality and quantity was definitely not worth my $24. If you want good quality Filipino food. Stick to National City.

I went in asked for a desert on the menu and the lady said they didn't have it ...ok ...went in the next day and she said they don't make it often -_- .I don't know why it's on your menu if it's not available . Regardless I Decided to try some food the chicken had so many bones I was surprised they even served it like that, definitely a choking hazard if you have children, and the pork was beyond oily. High price point for the quality of the food.

Used to be our go to but the last few visits have been disappointing. You pay extra for certain dishes but they don't give you enough. We ordered two entree combo and chose kare kare for both and there were only a few pieces of meat. The food is good but you may be better off going to Jochi or Tita's if you want to get your moneys worth.

I may have just missed it, but I did not see a price list prominently displayed. Pricing is a bit misleading as they charge extra for certain items and are not very transparent about it. These items are listed at the cashier's end of the queue, when the food had already been served and you're ready to pay. I'd say 90% of the offerings are listed as exceptions subject to the extra charge, thus making the exception the norm. When I politely asked why I'm being charged extra, the cashier became visibly irked and went on to recite a litany of the different items subject to the extra charge. The servings are on the light side, volume wise, compared to the competition(s). The food itself tasted good.

I hadn't been to this store in a few years so I was excited to get some food. Unfortunately, I lost my appetite after finding hair in it.
