JJs frybread

My husband and I love frybread and we've been to many in the valley but are on the hunt to try more! We checked JJs out tonight and we were both happy with our experience! This is definitely a small hole in the wall type place. The lady working there was incredibly nice and helpful to us! My husband got plain frybread with cheese on it and I got a vegetarian Navajo taco. I loved all the toppings on my taco and the frybread was incredibly fresh and fluffy. We also got fries and churros. The fries were good but had some sort of orange powder on them? I dipped them in the chipotle sauce they had which was good. I think the powder may have been a cheese powder. The churros were yummy, we got chocolate to dip them in and they were filled with cream. Our total was not outrageous for the amount of food we got. Glad we checked it out!

I went here on the advice of a food blogger that i usually always agree with. I am not a chicken wing gal at all but I wanted to try it out since I live so close by and she made it sound so good. Okay, to start, this is not a place to go if you are eating healthy. It has a small menu that consists of hotdog, Gyros, fries, desserts, churros, fry bread and chicken wings. lol with that said, Yummy! I wanted to try if out and I live very close by. I got the 6 wings for 9.99. 3 Mango Habernero and 3 lemon pepper, a chocolate fry bread, and a soda. No fountain only cans. All the food was delish, seemed expensive for what I got, and the portions are small. I left still hungry. I do have to say though I am not sure if 10 dollars is a good price or not for 6 wings since I never buy them. They were yummy though. Maybe this place is to go with a friend or friends and order more food to share? I hear their churros are out of this world but I did not try one. To the person who said they knocked off stars and was mad that no Navajo was in site. Waaaaaa????????????????????i Were you kidding? Of course it is nice to have local and cultural food cooked by one of their own but one can hone a craft in any genre outside their own. The best italian food I ever ate was cooked by a german and under no circumstances woud i eat and say I enjoyed my Irish mother's Irish cuisine. This is NOT a reason to knock off stars then turn around and say you liked the food. Waaaa??? That makes zero sense. The server was very nice. Do keep in mind you will wait for your food since it is made fresh. She warned me it would be a 20 minute wait but I didnearly not wait that long, more like 12 minutes. I would go back here, especially to try the Churros.

I think this place has some of the best fry bread in town. Some of the only fry bread in town actually besides the Arizona Fair when it comes around. The prices are reasonable too. Oh ! Be sure to check out the mango habanero wings! We tried each flavor and that one was the best. The lady that took our order there was very kind to let us try all the different meats.

We live nearby and wanted to support the new restaurant. When we came in, they asked if we wanted to try the different meats. As tempting as it was, we immediately knew we wanted the barbacoa. We ordered:Navajo Taco with BarbacoaJJ's Buffalo Fries We got for free: Fry bread with chocolate The Navajo taco comes with barbacoa, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese and pinto beans. First, the barbacoa meat is sooooo tender and flavorful! It really was so good. The fry bread is fluffy and doesn't get soggy. I'd definitely get this item again! JJ Buffalo Fries come with crispy fries, shredded cheese, Buffalo chicken, cilantro ranch, and sprinkled with hot Cheetos. It was just the right about of spice, and my 12 year old loved it. They were so generous and asked us if we wanted a free fry bread which of course we couldn't pass up lol. They had chocolate, strawberry, peach, and honey to drizzle on top. We got chocolate and it was delish. I asked how long they have been opened and they said a month. So be sure to come by and support this new business!

I love fry bread and saw this place pop up. It not only has fry bread, but also wings and hot dogs. The hot dogs were small, so let me just get that out of the way. But why come to a fry bread place and order hot dogs? The fry bread was made while I waited. I watched them drop each fry bread fresh into the fryer. We ordered various meat frybread's, and also the honey fry bread. All of it was incredibly delicious. The meat was nice and tender and juicy and the hot sauces for the wings were a bit vinegary but was actually on point. I'm not a big vinegar fan but whatever their mix is, it is absolutely delicious.The couple running the restaurant were very nice and very efficient. Although it took a few minutes to wait for my food, it was all made from scratch, correct and absolutely delicious. I would be definitely coming back here again. In case you're wondering the dollar amount for the items such as the frybread being $12 seems like a lot but it's actually pretty accurate for any other place what you would get a frybread taco.

What a great experience! The food was awesome and their staff was friendly and helpful. We had some Navajo tacos which were big and delicious! Exactly what you expect when ordering a fry bread taco. Wish there was a fry bread taco combo option though, but I may have just not asked/seen it. The mango habanero and traditional wings, which were crispy and delicious, and a hot dog. Which was exactly what you want when ordering a hot dog. The location was opened up to allow more seating, and it's clean, has big open windows and is comfortable. Will go back soon and happy to recommend. A nice addition to the neighborhood.

Great food and amazing service! This is a family owned business so you know you're going to get the best attention to your order. They are very intentional with their service. I tried the frybread for the first time and it was delicious! Go try! You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful little mom & pop restaurant. Very friendly staff. Fry bread was fresh and delicious. I would have given them 5 stars but the menu is very limited. I would have liked additional options on the frybread tacos.

Amazing service from very kind staff. Delicious food and they know it, they want me to try everything they got cuz they are very proud of their food. Deservedly so. Wings bomb. Tacos bomb. Leche cmon it's all gas.
