JJ Sushi & Pho

Completely recommended, I got the tereyaki chicken and pho. Perfect portions. Great costumer service. Nice quiet place on a sat. Afternoon. If anything, some dim music would be ideal.

JJ Sushi & Pho has been my GO TO sushi spot once I've found out about them. It's a family owned business and they take pride in what they do! Their service is out of this world, they are so kind & fun but also very attentive to detail / presentation and QUALITY ! Their rolls are HUGE compared to other places I've been to and the freshness of their dishes are amazing! You definitely get your dollars worth AND more from this place. and I would consider myself a regular here and it's such a grwat hidden gem!

Best sushi in san ysidro! I havent tried the pho yet but the sushi was on point. Very big roll too comoared to other more expensive places and the prices arent to bad considering the quantity you get.

Tried the pho special #1...broth was lacking in depth of flavor and was oily. It didn't taste like what pho broth normally tastes like. Red onions used instead of white or sweet onions that are normally used. A lot of sriracha and hoisin provided, I can only assume bc you need to add a lot of extra flavors to make the broth taste remotely decent. Broccoli beef was a good sized portion but the sauce/seasonings were so salty I couldn't eat more than a few bites. I will not be back.

My family and i visit this place often, it is clean, great customer service and food is a 10/10 highly reccomend this place. Pho sushi and teriyaki are my personal favorites but everything is good.

I'm glad I found this place! Looked up for some sushi in the area and found them! It's a small family run business and the family is very kind! Their sushi tastes delicious and I even enjoy the buttery salmon sashimi. I second the yellowtail as well! I recommend their pho too! The broth is rich and they give a good amount of vegetables alongside it. So far I really like the salmon lemon roll except I substitute mine with crab meat. I have to vouch for the garlic edamame. It is the best edamame in town! They cook it to perfectionPlease give this place a try if you're reading the reviews wondering if you should give it a shot.

Sooooo good! Way better than anything near south Chula. This is great! The one on palm closed down so this is our new usual!

I called to ask what time they were closing today at 5:50pm the man said we are closing at 6:30 I got there at 6:09 and he said that everything had finished I will never come back to this hole in the wall the food is great but the man is a total weirdo. Ps we'd-sit says they close at 8:30

Delicious food! Sushi is always fresh and made when ordered. Chicken sesame, jalapeño poppers are amazing!! Pho and wonton soup are delicious too! For work events we order the sushi platers A and B!
