This place is the perfect bar in Boston to go grab some beers with your co workers or friends. The cheapest beer in town. I got 3 beers for $24!! The place is cozy and the service was fast and great.

This place is so very welcoming and kind. I've been here twice. I'm a non-drinker, so usually I'm afraid of bars. Not here! No pressure to other anything stiff and plenty of smiles and gratitude. True Irish spirit!

I would give JJ Foley's a solid 3.5 stars. I came on a Wednesday night before going to see The Lion King at Boston Opera House. I wanted something low key because I usually go to places like Ruka or Pabu. Anyway - this fit the bill. Dana was my waiter and he actually deserves 5 stars. He was super friendly, helped me with suggestions, came at the right time, gave me an update on when my food would arrive and gave me good prosecco pours to boot! Dana was awesome!I was trying to decide between the chicken caesar wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap. Dana suggested that I get the caesar wrap, but with buffalo chicken tenders. Yes, please! My bro go buffalo tenders with fries and was less impressed. My meal was fine - typical pub-style food at decent prices. I could have easily spent double for food somewhere else, so I was pleased with the value. Like I mentioned before, my prosecco pours were legit and they had a decent beer list that my brother chose from.All in all, I would say this is a typical pub atmosphere with typical pub food, but we got excellent service. I would come back for another chill dinner or drinks.

What a great bar! This is the kind of place where, "Norm!" would ring out and you wouldn't be surprised. The drink menu is extensive and the prices are great. The jukebox is in the corner and the specials are on the board. What more could you want for a local watering hole. Visit, drink, and leave as a friend.

Very kind and attentive owners and bartenders. We came by after a baby shower as a large group and immediately were greeted warmly and had full attention of the staff. Great beers for a reasonable price!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late night dinner at this pub and weren't disappointed!Some great beer options led us to tasty IPAs and of course a Guinness. Limited food menu @ night but we decided to split the fish n chips which was perfect for the both of us.Staff was super friendly - definitely seemed like a locals spot as they seemed to know everyone who walked in the door!Highly recommend this spot!

Solid pints , food great oldie but a goody lasting the hands of times both establishments excellent crowds drinks and craic.... what it means to have family run business.... RIP SAVAGE your memory and stories will live on cheers mate...

It was good food. Not the best but far from worst. The beer selection was good though and they served it ice cold in the bottle with a frosted mug as well. The server was attentive and friendly.

No food here. We went to check it out for a pats game and the nice bartender said they don't serve food anymore. It's a legit straight up bar with probably 5 locals so that's that. 5 stars cause the bartender recommended a great pub that served food. Boston!
