JJ Fish & Chicken - McDonough

I was in the area and decided to visit this location. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The store was clean, employees were attentive and friendly. It was very crowded, but the food was cooked to perfection and the lines moved smoothly. We will definitely be back if we're in the neighborhood.

Had a great experience at this location. We had a warm welcoming upon entering. The food was really good. Nice and hot. The lemonade with mango added was the bomb. I got the pick two which included 2 flounder filets and 3 tenders. Fries were nice and crispy. I wish I would have gotten the nice lady's name to give her a shot out. My only complaint is that the restrooms were in bad shape. No soap or paper towels. And the commodes were pissy and had a smell.

Good food! And the service was A1. The ambiance was fine, although we didn't stay to eat there.

I ordered 75 chicken wings. The wings are so small I'm not even sure it's chicken, it may very well be pigeon. Also there is more hair on the wing than there is meat. Very disappointing! I gave one star because zero stars is not an option. On a previous visit I purchased 50 wings and they were all a good size. That was my first time ever going there and I went inside to order but this time I ordered online and had my husband to pick it up. Was that my mistake? Do pick up orders get the trash food? Or is it once you order more than 50 wings you get the xxxs random bird wings?! Just another establishment ripping off their customers. I do not recommend! Unless you have money to waste.

I have seen several JJ Fish & Chickens open in my area and decided to try them out much to my demise. OMG... why did I bother to try this place! My shrimp dinner was dripping in grease with a tiny sample cup of cold slaw, cold fries, and limp toast. Not to mention, I thew my shrimp dinner in the trash!The service was beyond rude, and the eatery looked more like a school cafeteria than a restaurant. This is my first and last time in Junky Junk Fish & Chicken.I give this place a minus star if I could!

One of the best southern JJ's Fish locations I've been too. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The prices were reasonable. The lemonade were amazing and they also allow you to select different flavors to the lemonade The customer service was crisp. Everyone greeted you with a smile. The energy was very comfortable. This is a casual family and group friendly location. They differ due to the amount of seating in this location. And the place was clean - usually this makes me want to walk around to see odd people even eat here but soon as someone leaves the restaurant they clean the table. I will gladly be back.

The food was pretty good! The speed of service was amazing! The customer service was a bit abnormal! I was told I would need matching card from payment and ID when i placed the order. I was asked for neither when I went inside to pickup my order. The drive thru wasn't open! I set an order pick up online for 7:55pm. Even though I didn't get my order until 5mins after 8pm. The food was fresh and hot but I didn't receive any condiments, plastic ware, nor napkins.I did like the fact of being served bottled and canned drinks over fountain drinks! The lemon pound cake was not the best! The cake wasn't fresh! The Chicken Tenders, Okra, & Whole Wings were seasoned perfect (not so much of the fries).

My go to for whole catfish and shrimp dinner. I always get one extra piece of fish for my late night snack. Service is expeditious and the location is always clean and organized.

Well the catfish nugget plate is off the chain and you get alot for your money. Highly recommend this restaurant. Maybe a little high but the plate is busting at the seams and we'll worth every penny. JJ fish and chicken crew you all rock keep up the great service and out of this world catfish nuggets plates. I gave this place 2 stars just because of the young lady that checked me out she was very nice. The fish was fried to death. I have never had whiting with a hundred bones in it and the scallops was fried so hard they disappeared. And let's talk about this dry ass hard cake . You truly should be ashamed. Whom ever Evan is they need to come switch them things out. Just completely disappointed..
