Jin Sushi

Back for lunch this week. Enjoyed the Miso w Langostines (honestly, the tiniest ever Cea dad tails I've EVER seen, but the bowl was surprisingly delicious and rich!!!) Sashimi salad was truly beautiful. Hotate sushi was singed with a torch and AMAZING. I was happy to see the chef very busy with callIn orders and 6 tables full. He said this was unusual. Keep ordering and keep themGoing! Great place!

The wife and I went out today for lunch. We decided to stop by a new place and check it out. We were pleasantly surprised about the portion size and the price of this establishment. I would definitely recommend this place if you want some great sushi. To speak about the service might be a little tough since we were the only ones in there. So we were waited on and taken care of very well. The restaurant was very clean, from the table to the bathrooms. I have attached pictures of the place and the quality of the sushi. Hopefully this will entice you to check it out and give these business owners your business.

I visited this establishment on a Saturday night around 8 pm and found it to be slow-paced, which wasn't surprising considering the experience. While the gyoza I ordered was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. When I requested the monster roll without eel, the sushi chef loudly objected across the room, stating that without eel, I couldn't have the roll, which made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. This unnecessary rudeness continued when I asked for cucumber in my tiger roll, prompting another outburst from the sushi chef. The food was mid and the sushi roll wasn't that fresh, but it wasn't worth the rudeness and disrespect. Despite having visited this place a few times before, this disappointing experience ensures it will be my last.

For starters ( STOP GOING TO TRAPPERS) and come right here ! It's a local sushi place! This has been one best sushi places I've ever had in the area! Starting off it's real clean and cute in there everything freshly made ( YES FRESH) also, the waitress was so warm and welcoming ! Get into the presentation! I'm talking beautifully presented ! If you have questions ask, they're more than happy to answer ! Honestly go ahead and head here for lunch or even a cute dinner date ( WORTH THE PRICE) i promise . Enjooooy

We're spending the summer on Anderson Island and needed to do our laundry. Right next door to the laundry in this little strip mall is Jin Sushi. Checking out the Yelp reviews we decided to give it a try.While the outside of the restaurant is pretty bland, the inside of the restaurant is very clean and neat. We were warmly greeted by the chef and by the host. They offered interesting variations on miso soup (one with langostino and another with mussels). I gave the langostino one a try and was surprised that it was a large bowl, vs. the typically small bowls that sushi restaurants offer. It was pretty tasty. My wife ordered the tempura and a roll with spicy tuna inside, albacore on the outside, and thin crispy onion rings on top. She loved the tempura, but the roll was too spicy for her. I gave it a try and it absolutely packed a punch.The hostess did tell us the roll was spicy. But hey, we're old hands at eating all kinds of spicy food. So we weren't worried. This was *really* spicy.I ordered the chef's choice of nigiri. Each piece was well-presented and he honored my request of no shrimp or octopus.We had food left over, so we grabbed to-go boxes, and I got to finish my wife's meal later. :-)Other Yelpers talked about the pace of service. It's probably not a place for someone who wants to grab a quick lunch because of that. But we were in no hurry and left very happy to get our sushi fix.

It's just ok, as much as I wanted to give this place 4+ stars after eating some sashimi's I couldn't after we got our nigiri. Their rice wasn't sushi rice, their nigiri were poorly constructed using regular rice not sushi rice with a hint of vinegar that's supposed to go into the sushi rice. Some of their fish didn't taste fresh but couple day old maybe a week old. Not pleased with their quality at all, I would have given them 2 stars but the lovely server lady made up for another star. This is JUST OK NOTHING SPECIAL TO RAVE ABOUT!!!!!

Shares a parking lot in a little strip so it's easy to access. Beware they might have some odd hours since one time I came around 2-3 and it was still closed for lunch even though the hours didn't match the sign. Nothing extraordinary or bad to say on the food and service. Some of the tables are nicer seating than others in this restaurant. I think the prices are reasonable and the sushi was pretty good. They have a very large menu with great selections of food and sushi!

Delicious, fast , kind service, & the vibe is very "sit and stay awhile... eat another roll have a another drink" just such a very beautiful elegant nice place to eat as well as family friendly! Love it here.

The food was delicious perfect balance and the service was even better with attentive staff and letting us know cute little details and their fresh grown mint. Super cute and calm place

Nondescript storefront in a strip mall but the food is actually good! It was pretty slow when we went for dinner, so we were seated and attended to quickly. Sushi chef at the bar makes all the rolls to order. There are a bunch of seats at the bar to watch him work. Rolls are a good size and very tasty! Solid selection of rolls and appetizers. We got the salmon collar... so tender and melts in your mouth. I think our party of 2 could have been fine with 3 rolls instead of 4... we had leftovers to take home! Prices are average.They do have sake and beer here, including the beer tower!
