Jimma's Jamaican Restaurant

It is a hole in a wall but the food was absolutely delicious. I got the oxtails and my side was the peas and rice and cabbage. The oxtails was falling off the bone and gravy wasn't oily. The cabbage was light and perfect balance to the meal. The rice and peas perfectly done.

Grabbed this was doing an overnight layover in Atlanta--the beef patties were exceptional, the goat was amazing, and the jerk BBQ chicken was very good. the goat and chicken both came with ASBURD amounts of rice--there was enough food to feed two with each of the entrees. would totally order from them again!

Quick and super fast service. Food was fresh and price was great. This part of old national is a bit much but overall it's a good spot to grab food.

I wasn't exactly sold on the Yelp photos, in fact I was worried but when my usual spot was out of Jerk Chicken pasta I was called into action! I can't speak to the service because I ordered delivery, but judging by how well the plate was packed and how quickly the food came Im sure it's a 10/10. The other reviewers were honest in saying authentic Jamaican food, I've never had a jerk chicken pasta quite like this before! Or so full of chicken lol. Also for my first time in the history of atlanta Jamaican food my coco bread was fresh! I'll be back and ready to try something new.

I wish they were in a better spot and closer to the city but the food is amazing! Very authentic Caribbean dishes. I am Caribbean and grew up in NYC and never had an issue finding authentic Caribbean flavors there. It was refreshing to find that this place had great food which didn't include southern style cooking or flavors (not against souther food but Caribbean food should always be authentic and true to the culture)

I love the Patties here the food smells amazing and I've never seen anyone complain at all. They seem pretty busy

If you like leftovers, last week's chicken, and soggy overripe plantains.... Then choose Jimmas. I trusted the reviews on Uber Eats but after one look and taste of Jimmas work....I think they're fake. Your Uber delivery girl bring you a heavily packed (but spilling out) order. At first you will think " jack pot!!" Because you got so much food. But then, you'll taste the food. No one salted the food. The plantains are overripe and slippery, and falling apart....tastng like spoiled bananas. The jerk Chicken will be piled high.... too bad it was from two days ago. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The food was very delicious! My family and I ordered takeout, and I had the jerks wings which I enjoyed as did everyone in my family who tried some. The seasoning on them was so good! I also got to try the oxtail and goat which were both delicious as well! The plantains and cabbage sides were good too. I wish I lived nearby because this place would become a regular!

If you want authentic yard food come here, it's the best and has superb customer service. It's named after the owner and also cook who is very welcoming and a awesome cook.Great ambience and just overall perfect. Go and get some real Jamaican food and I promise you won't regret it . Personally love the jerk and oxtails and it's very affordable and worth every penny.
