I previously had the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak at the other Redmond location on Redmond Way, and so decided to try a different cheese steak as these hot subs are freshly grilled. Since I did not order in-person, I could not add additional toppings.-----#66 Portabella Cheese Steak: steak, fresh portabella mushrooms, peppers, onions, and white American cheese ($11.58 for Regular size). The cheese was so gooey when unwrapping! The beef was juicy and the fillings were great in flavor. I picked the Rosemary Parmesan Bread which was fresh. I definitely enjoyed this sandwich more than the other one.-----Shockingly the wait time was an excruciating long 45 minute for a late afternoon order at 2 PM. I did not receive any notification that my order was ready for pick-up, but fortunately the sub was still warm when I had arrived. Orders are placed at the shelf by the door. Note that online orders also charge a $0.08 paper bag fee.

Got a coupon in the mail to try Jersey Mike's, forgot my coupon but still decided to try it out since I was starving after getting my massage next door at Mu Lan. If I were to rate all the fast food sub spots, it would be Quizno, Potbelly, Subway, and then Jersey Mike's, but it's hard to find lunch for under $10 these days and it's nice to have a hot sandwich over the prepared ones at any grocery stores. I would recommend just eating here if you're getting one of their hot sandwiches, the steam trapped in the foil makes it soggy real quick. Either eat it there or order a cold cut sandwich instead.Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

UPDATE: JANUARY 24, 2022APP NOW A PROBLEM CHILD!I like the food. And the employees are good. But the Jersey Mike's app just simply does not work anymore (it used to though). For the first time, I had to come inside the store to place my order! I asked the employee who fixed my sandwiches whether it was just me, or if other guys my age have problems with the Jersey Mike's app. He replied EVERYBODY has problems with the Jersey Mike's app! Specifically, when I tapped on the app icon, it would not even open up. So I went to the App Store to try to open it up through the App Store. That worked. But then the app would not accept my password! So I gave up and just went inside the store. That's why I lowered the rating from four stars to two stars, not because of this store, but EXCLUSIVELY because of the jersey Mike's app! BROWNIES BROWNED OUT!Also, you cannot order brownies through the app anymore. You have to go inside the store for that when you pick up your sandwiches. They had this problem before. Then they fixed it. But now it's broken again. It's like unreliable electric power, a brown out!PASSWORDS ARE PASSEUSERS IDS ARE USED UPPlease JM, use Touch ID/Face ID for PRIMARY login, with six digit temporary verification code for BACK-UP login. Unfortunately the experience and expectations at this location has gone down. I usually came once a week but after my last couple visits, I will be going elsewhere. Last two visits, my order has been incorrect, even in-person they did it wrong and most recently online as well. The order line has been a 10-15 minute wait or longer and even ordering ahead, still waited 15 minutes for my order that was placed 30 minutes prior to pickup time. Waiting is one thing but having your order done wrong is another. Wrong bread, wrong meat, not adding the correct ingredients. Hopefully they get things back on track but I'll be getting my sandwiches elsewhere unfortunately.

Placed an order through yelp and once we got inside to pick up our order, it wasn't ready sadly. Waited about 10-15 min while there were at least 4 guys up front with no urgency. I don't blame them, we all just want to work and go home. But first time ordering the chipotle chicken cheese steak and it was like a 2.5/5. The sub was pretty flat and salty. Maybe I'm just better off trying the cold subs

Jersey Mike's Subs isn't a bad place for a sub sandwich. It's way better than Subway, but isn't the best sandwich or anything special. However, I can see why people like this chain eatery. I received a coupon from Jersey Mike's Subs in the mail for a free regular sub sandwich, so fuck yeah, I was gonna take advantage of this deal. I visited for lunch on a Monday and when I told the staff I had a coupon for a free regular sub, they said I could use it on any sub sandwich. Sweet! I ordered a buffalo chicken sub, which is one of their hot subs they do here. The menu had a lot to choose from, from subs with classic deli cuts, to hot ones like a philly cheesesteak. The regular size was large enough, as it's a foot long, I think, or close to? But any of the subs can be made into a larger size. The buffalo chicken sub included chicken in buffalo sauce, white american cheese, tomato, shredded lettuce and bleu cheese dressing with my choice of rosemary bread. They griddled up the chicken, so the cheese melted nicely on top. It wasn't too long of a wait for my sandwich to be ready. By the time I arrived home to enjoy it, the sandwich was super messy from the overload of buffalo sauce they used. Holy smokes. Because of that and the heat from the chicken, the shredded lettuce wilted. It was also messy from the additional sauce of the bleu cheese dressing. Too much going on here. But it was tasty, once I took some layers off. I love buffalo chicken, so liked the flavor. But next time, I'd ask for them to go light on the sauce. Or, I'd like to try something different that isn't so saucy.Overall, if you want a sub sandwich I'd say go to Jersey Mike's over Subway every time. The quality here just seems way better than that other chain. This location is located in the Overlake neighborhood, in a shared business park with other restaurants and shops nearby, so parking isn't an issue. They are open for dine-in, but most people were getting takeout here. Definitely feels like a lunch spot for nearby Microsofties.

Convenient location to grab subs from the popular chain of higher end submarine sandwiches, both hot and cold. We had a pretty big group for lunch, so I suggested Jersey Mikes. My brother and I went out to order it and bring it back, seven subs in all (5 cold, 2 hot).Just like Subway, if you order a cold sandwich, it gets prepared in front of you. They have a process so if you order a bunch of sandwiches at once, they want to know what the sandwich is, bread and size, before the toppings and customizations. I didn't understand this initially, and after they explained it to me (rudely), I rescanned my list and did it their way. Once the cold sandwiches were initially assembled, I had to go back and figure out which sandwiches had which toppings. I guess it can work, but it stressed me immediately because I didn't want to get any of the toppings incorrect. The hot sandwiches are put into a different queue (which turned out to be a big problem)...but you pay for everything at once. The worker who made the sandwiches was super friendly, while the manager/owner who manned the register wasn't so much. My brother paid, and I took the cold sandwiches out to the car with the others and my brother waited inside to get the 2 hot sandwiches. Fifteen minutes, he was still waiting. He told me later that the guy manning the grill skipped our order, and that he had to remind the manager, who didn't seem none too pleased. Finally, the first sandwich came, with an apology. I then asked, what is the second sandwich, which caused more confusion. The second sandwich was finally delivered a little later, with an explanation that it was being 'kept warm for us'? At that point, we just wanted to get out of there. The delivery process here for hot sandwiches is a mess. You really have to know what you ordered and double check against what is delivered. One of the workers noticed our irritation, and before we left, gave us a couple of coupon cards to get free chips/drink with purchase of a sub.The amount of protein in the subs was OK...I think the days when going to Jersey Mike's meant quite a bit more of meat on your sandwiches than its competitors, is long gone. And the types of toppings is dwarfed by Subway, but they will load up your sub with shredded lettuce and with the vinegar and oil blend that you can add, it makes for quite a good sandwich.Thinking if you want to order a sub from here, order it ahead and use the app so it is ready for you when you get there.

Don't go if you're in a rush. Four guys on staff- you'd think they could handle an online order or even the customers they have in line on a slow lunch rush but they can't. Took 10 minutes for them to wrap up a sandwich on the bar... not sure if it's lack of training or what but if you're at the register at least pretend you give a damn.Another guy behind the counter not even wearing a hairnet with long hair. In short, if you want good service go to the one on redmond way.
