Jerk Palace Carribean Cuisine

We stopped by for a quick bite while waiting for our car to be serviced and were pleasantly surprised. The jerk chicken platter with rice and peas, along with the beef patty, was delicious. The service was friendly (which is a rare find, honestly!), and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We'll definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

Let me start by saying that the heavy set lady with the bonnet and piercings in her face is the most rudest person I've ever met. When I ask for hot sauce or pepper sauce, she charges me and the amount is sooo small almost as small as a twenty teardrops. The food used to be good but now it isn't all that, the curry be salty, jerk tasting days old, oxtail not savory enough and the portions gets smaller and smaller while the price goes up. I do like the pound cake and beef patty. The ambiance is like any other takeout restaurant but they do have chairs for you to sit and wait and eat your food. I'm hoping they get better, this used to be my favorite place.

Ok I was hungry and wanted some Caribbean food. I happen to see this place often so I decided to stop. The lady up front was nice, but not friendly. I came there to eat so it wasn't a big deal. I had a few friends and I wanted to sit down and eat. They definitely had chairs and a few tables., but it's one of those places that you sit at waiting for your ride or for the bus. The ambience is very bland. I would suggest takeout!!The food was the best part! Jerk chicken had spice (without the sauce) , the cabbage tasted like my grandmas cabbage and the rice and peas was perfect.Overall, get your food to go and you will be just fine. If you don't need music or nice tables etc. sit down and have a bite!

My first experience in this lil hidden gem..I had brown stewed chicken with rice and peas and plaintains...chicken was very flavorful and tasty...they gave me about 5 plantains, which is not normal at all. The cabbage had great flavor but was a lil too soft for my liking...But overall, I will return...It has been difficult to find good Jamaican since I have moved onto this side of town but this has been the best so far.

Parking: FreeLocation: Shannon Crossing in the Kroger parking lotI waited for 30min for them to open at 11 to find out they wouldn't have any breakfast food options available for another 15-20min. They informed me they dont make porridge or fritters ever, which is what I went there for. I ended up getting 2 patty's one Spinach & cheese & the other Veggie. Come to find out they make the patties fresh, in-house daily. When I tell you they were fresh, hot, flaky, well-seasoned & they idis taste good.I was disappointed because how do you open at 11 & don't have any food prepared? They get 3 due to being unprepared for breakfast at 11am when they are scheduled to open.

Jerk Chicken had all the right spices, very flavorful not to hot. Just great food. Clean resturant with friendly staff. Worth stopping.

Best oxtails and curry goat in Union City! I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. A jamaican spot much closer to my home opened and their food isn't good at all. Jerk Palace is worth the drive.

Cabbage seemed old yet plentiful,jerk sauce taste like A1 sauce.. 2 small plantains on a large plate.. I'll have to try again. It's ok for the moment

Stopped in our way through Atlanta. The jerk chicken was perfect. The portions were very good size. The cabbage and rice were delicious as well. Will go again! No ambience here! Just good food! Gotta come back for callilou!

The food used to be DELICIOUS, now- not so much. The service is bad, and they are ALWAYS out of something. It's does not matter what time you go, they are bound to not have a staple item from the menu.
