Imagine... You walk into a restaurant. Modern country music plays softly in the background. Two employees stand ready behind a counter and a register, greeting you with pleasant demeanor. You can feel the pride oozing from them as they ask how they can help you, no doubt confident that WHATEVER you pick is gonna win you over. The menu, simple and limited, still sounds good. The special (smoked prime rib) sure sounds good, but you kinda had ribs on the brain. You ask for a big combo plate with those ribs, but then you get a wild hair and tell them you'd like one of their house-made sausages. You pick brisket chili and creamy coleslaw too. The place has a surprisingly large footprint with plenty of dining area after all. The decor is down home, Texas proud with license plates, pictures of Jeff interacting with other barbecue greats. A few funny pictures (see my pic for an example). One diner has that smoked prime rib and you think ... dammit ... you think maybe you shoulda gotten that one after all. Oh well. Sit down to your feast. In the background, too, the owner is mingling with customers, not obtrusively, but genuinely interested and caring that his patrons are having a good time and learn all about his barbecue. Others there, who sure seem like regulars, interact cordially. Then the REAL experience starts...So yeah, this place is one of the reasons I am so happy a Sno-Co resident. This place is a gem. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I had the plate with pork ribs, a hot sausage, creamy cole slaw, brisket chili. The plate also came with two slices of white bread. I got three small cups of barbecue sauce: mustard, regular, and hot. The ribs were amazing. They had texture. They were tender, flavorful but had enough texture to have a bit to them but not tough by any means. They were perfect in my view. Sausage was amazing, too. Good spice and smoke flavor. It was good taking little slices of it and putting it with sauce into a piece of bread. I also got a little cup of pickled jalapenos. They were fine but I don't think I would need that again. I was also, truth be told, a little surprised the sauces, dispensed in small little deli cups, were extra. But no biggie. It's Texas style so really I shouldn't have needed it anyway, but I love saucy barbecue so there you go. Coleslaw was good. But the surprising standout was the brisket chili. This way I got to try the smoky brisket without it being my main protein. (That being said I will get that next time unless some special sounds better... only need to make THAT mistake once!) I loved being able to have a Shiner Bock with my meal. It's good stuff! They clearly take great pride in their work and there is great skill being used at Jeff's Barbecue. I'm an instant fan. I can't wait to go back.

We ordered 1/2 lb of brisket and a half rack of the pork spareribs and a banana pudding for dessert. The meats were tender and tasty. However, we didn't order a sauce to go with it so both of the meats tasted pretty similar. We were surprised that the sauce costs extra - this is the first barbecue place we've been to where that's the case. We'd recommend at least including a sauce or two per order of meat..it really doesn't quite make sense without it, other places have multiple bottles (in various flavors) out for people to use. A sauce likely would have balanced out the taste of the meat and helped it not be too heavy too soon. The banana pudding also was pretty tasty but got a little sweet near the end. Overall if we come back in the future, we'd order a sauce or two.

I moved to Washington several years ago and tried to find good BBQ. I thought I had until I tried Jeff's. It was the best BBQ I have ever had. I have been many times and have found they are consistently fantastic. The burria tacos are amazing. Oh and don't forget the sides, they have some of the best chili beans and potato salad. Now I am hungry for more BBQ. Be sure and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Legit BBQ and amazing service one of the best BBQ places in Washington State. I've had BBQ at a ton of places and Jeff's pulled pork and brisket is some of the best I've had in my life. I orderedBrisketPulled PorkTurkeyMac and CheesePotato SaladAll of it was money!!! I was glad I did the fatty Brisket as I cooked leftovers in some chili I made absolutely ridiculously good!!! This place is lights out!! Not far from the freeway about a 1/4 mile from the Casino up north. Simple BBQ place with some huge flavor. My bbq sandwich is so good it didn't need much sauce. Mac and Cheese is great flavor super cheesy. It was so good I had a bite of it cold the next day and it was still crazy good! I thought it was reasonably priced for what you get. I definitely will be back here. Best BBQ I have had from Bellingham to Portland. Hands down!!

Came here again two years later because I had to work in in Tulalip and it was still so good. Just as tasty as I remembered. Some of the best bbq I've had in Washington. I wish it wasn't so far from me. I've had a craving for bbq for months. Brisket and ribs were yummy and pork belly by far was my favorite. Desserts banana pudding and pecan pie was good too. Potato salad was potato salad lol. My kiddo liked the Mac and cheese and this time I got the dill pickles because why not. They were tasty too. Overall I'll be back and won't wait so long next time.

We were in the areas many times. Wanted to try the foods, but they were closed. Check their operating hours before you go. They close 3 days a week. We tried brisket, pull pork, baked beans, chili, and banana pudding. I like the brisket, baked beans (sweet), and banana pudding. Definitely come back if I am in the area and crave for a bbq.

I love BBQ!!! Korean, Brazilian, Japanese, Chilean, Argentinian, Australian, every states version of BBQ in the US but Texas style BBQ is hands down my favorite. Its so simple. Slow cooked, smoky and savory meat. The problem is outside of Texas I can count the excellent "Texas Style BBQ" experiences I've had on one hand. No matter how good you make BBQ you need to be making it all day with people constantly lined up to get that good good. If you have a piece of beef or pork cooked to perfection and then reheated, well, you've ruined it. So after reading a ton of reviews and a couple articles, I started to get a good feelings about Jeff's Texas Style BBQ and what do you know, I was staying in Marysville for a wedding so it was literally a mile away. But enough of my journey. I showed up around 5pm which I already new was a bad move since most of the items I wanted were probably going to be sold out but luckily they still had Brisket and that was the main reason I went. I got the little tray with brisket, mac n cheese and white bread. I also got a little cup of the brisket chili which ended up being a little bit more than a little cup. Oh well. I topped it all off with the banana pudding. The brisket was dripping with juices. Great smoke ring but not overly smokey, which I love.Brisket chili was on the sweeter side and filled with brisket. If I didn't have enough brisket on my tray (I did) then this sent me over the topThe Mac N Cheese was awesome! I should started eating this first but I was eating it second to last and felt like a glutton with every bite but I couldn't stop. Slightly peppery and super creamy. I loved this no matter how hard my stomach was saying stop!To top it all off that banana pudding was ridiculous. I needed an hour break after dinner before I could really do damage to the pudding and still could only get half way through it. Thank god I had a fridge in my room because I killed the rest in the morning with my coffee. To those who happen to live in this area, good on you! For those visiting, please make your way here to try out Jeff's Texas Style BBQ. Well worth any drive.Enjoy!

Well hello yummy barbecue...So it's been a minute since I've been back but man is it worth it. Here's what we ordered 1/2 pound Brisket 4.5/5 great flavor, ask for lean or fatty and they'll will provide, docking off a half star because I really wish there was more smoky flavor imbued in the meat but great bark and well seasoned 16oz Brisket Chilli 4/5 love this thing it has changed from the last time I had it, there are more chunks of tomato and onion which add texture but it becomes a little much when half my cup is veggies and not Brisket (something to consider)Rodeo fries 6/5 what the fudge, this beauty is a limited menu item (check their socials for updates I believe it's usually Wednesday's that they have new items up) sidewinder fries (did not know this was a thing!) with shredded brisket, Queso, green onion, jalapeño, and sour creamAlso shout out to the team who were at it for hours with the weekend rush and still were super nice and patient with everyoneDining area was nice and clean and yay they had a little a/c unit now whoop! They also have outdoor picnic tables Thank you Jeff for being you
