JD's Market on Old Hwy 99

I've been shopping at this spot since they were the Produce Place. Great selection of foods that you just don't see in the big chain stores. Need oyster mushrooms? Fresh Bean sprouts? Fresh rice noodles for Phad thai? this is your place. They also carry the best, full fat, coconut milk for wonders like curry's and sauces. Prices are great, selection is better than anywhere North of Downtown. I'll keep coming back as long as they'll have me.

I'm so thankful I found this place in local ad. No more driving to Everret to get my Asian grocery anymore! Trust me Yelp friends, they have fresh and great price. Lots of their products are even cheaper than a big Asian market down in Seattle such as mushrooms, mangos, organic bananas or rare Asian herbs.Friendly staff too. I dont understand about the bad review about the lettuce because that's not been my experience with this store. I have experienced them selling produce getting old but always significant discounts which is fine with me because I hate wasting food and maybe help keep the price down too. I was disappointed when my favorite produce market closed and the place stayed empty for months. Good thing it reopened as JD's Market recently. Now with new owners, this market carries fruit, vegetables and Asian products. The banner at the entrance also mentions meats (including halal), but I did not see any fresh meat section (maybe it will come later). The market is clean and organized - produce to the left and dry goods and frozen items to the right. They carry a wide selection of fruit (including lychee, Indian grapes, cactus pears, dates, mangoes) and vegetables (you can also find taro, daikon, chayote, bittermellon and a few others in Vietnamese I am not familiar with). Spices, sauces, canned and preserved food items are also available. I was surprised with their huge selection of Indian and Pakistani products like spice mixes (Malai Tikka, kabab, Haleem, Kofta and so much more). Also available are food products and condiments from the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Owners are friendly and helpful. Now, my old favorite produce market just got a whole lot better!

Last year I started making a lot of cold pressed juice. I bought tons of produce from this stand. The workers are very friendly and helpful. I love that they have an exotic fruit and veggie selection that you can't find anywhere else. You can find a wide variety or oriental foods here. Lots of yummy spices. Love this place!

I was so excited to see a new grocery in this location. In addition to fresh produce, JD's carries an assortment of pantry items, snacks, spices, sauces, quick meal kits, and sweets from around the world: Thailand, Turkey, Mexico, Vietnam, and India, for example. I bought some beautiful Korean pears and a nice, fresh bunch of yu-choi this morning and was tempted to pick up some fresh oyster mushrooms and Thai eggplant, but since I was on foot, I held back. I'll definitely return for a bigger trip in the future. I'm truly delighted to have access to such a great selection of international products in the area instead of having to head far south or order online.

Love this place! I come in with my cotton veggie/ fruit washable bags and no one even flinches that the crazy bag lady is shopping here. Anyway was looking for several items and found extras including local asparagus as well as huge Braeburn apples. Asian to Hispanic fruits and veggies. Things you won't find at your local grocery store. The cashier was/is hilarious dragging me around store to find my scatter brain list. They had 3 or 4 types of bananas !Authentic hot sauces and a good selection of spices. Place is pretty clean. But the thing I appreciate the most is the amazing service and assistance . Parking lot is spotless but the single in and out is a pain, secondary exit has coffee shack instead. Paid a fraction of what I do at QFC or the farmers market. Hoping they have little pickling cucumbers this summer so I can make bread and butter pickles. Sugar and snap beans a little pricy but everything else was super reasonable if not downright cheap. The Braeburn apples were less then a dollar a pound!

So happy to have a local international market with fresh fruits and veggies that are hard to find.

Wow, what a change from the previous produce market here! This store is full of all the ingredients you need for various ethnic cooking at a great price. Customer service was also great. Cashier helped me look for a product even though she was new and didn't know where it was. I will be back often!

stopped by to get some produce, what a mistake the lettuce was slimey and black the cabbage next to it wasn't any better. the tomatoes were mostly green with black spots on them. the two people working there didn't even speak to me.
