Jay Hind is a gem for vegetarian Indian cuisine in Phoenix. We've been here several times and it never disappoints. The large thali option is a must-try--every single item on it is delicious with great dessert options included. It's a great way to sample a variety of what they offer. The samosas are some of the best in town, crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling. Plus, the owner is really nice, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for top-notch vegetarian options!

Excellent Gujarati and North Indian food. Try their bahubali thali on the expensive side of 60$ or so. But two people or may be three can eat easily out of it. A Great mix of North Indian and West Indian food

4.5*: Good place to try Indian street food, particularly from the western state of Gujarat. I tried the North Indian delicacy- Chholae (chickpea) Bhature (puffed fried bread). The taste was good, clearly cooked Gujarati style as the taste of North Indian preparation for this dish is different, particularly the Chholae. Typically Indian restaurant with nice decor from Gujarat & bollywood songs playing on the TV. They do the Thaali that I would like to try on a weekend! High points for their service, shout-out to Sam, for being very attentive and professional. Would recommend for trying food that's different than what people typically eat at Indian restaurant, which is mostly North Indian.Enjoy!

Best vegetarian thali in town! Love the Gujarati thali. We have been back a few times. One day would love to try the babubali thali, just need to bring more folks with me to do it justice.

We ordered Bhel puri, 2 platters one with malai kofta and other with panner, Gobi Manchurian, panner paratha and veg biriyani. Everything was so good and we were in love with the simplicity and the quality which did not compromise the taste of the food. Happy to have found a good vegetarian restaurant. Recommend hard core vegetarians to check out this place and you won't regret. Note to the Business: We saw in our receipt a 20% gratuity and a 3% administrative fees( which we have never seen anywhere else and donno what's that's for ) however for the service tax and the administrative fees paid it would have been nice, to have the meal in a proper plate instead of a paper plate. Because when we come in a group and order 7 different items we tend to share and taste all the foods.

This place is incredible. We drove all the way from Scottsdale to try this place and it didn't disappoint. You order at the counter and sit and the seating area was very clean. They have a water machine which is a nice touch so if you want warm or cold water you can choose. We ordered the Bahubali Thali and it was amazing. Definitely worth the price I shared with my family of 3 and we were all very full and satisfied.

Would give 5 stars for food and 3 stars for service. Beautiful decorations to make you feel that you are back in Gujarat! Have not tasted home made Gujarati thali like this in Phoenix. The food is not greasy, it's light and not overly sweet. The thali was great with a good amount of food but not too I'm much. The chhole bhatura was fresh and yeasty. Don't know if the food would travel well to go but it's so nice to see Gujarati food. It would be nice if they cater!

Glad to find a vegetarian eatery bringing the flavors of the west India in the valley. Five stars for the food but 3.5 stars for the waiting time which was ridiculous, was almost going to miss a flight. Highly recommend Gujarati thali. Everything in the thali was tasty: 2 sabjis, poori, dhokla, shrikhand etc., except the gujarati kadhi which was way too sweet for our taste. Batata vada was alright and papdi chat was good. They also have very good jalebis and shrikhand. Did not like the north indian curries + roti/naan combo as much.
