After a long day at SeaWorld, I decided to stop by H Mart to get a few snacks. It was pretty late, around 8pm and most of the food court and bakery have closed. I saw this one Korean street food store and decided to give it a try. Despite closing in less than 30 minutes, the cashier was extremely friendly and even offered to turn on the slush machine she had been thawing out just so I could try it. Our food came out within 15 minutes served by such a woman on the front counter. There was plenty of seating in the food court since they were about to close. It was clean and we didn't feel rushed at all. When we got our food I was surprised to see how large the chicken was. It tasted amazing and was really spicy. The spicy pork bowl was a large portion as well and tasted amazing. As for the star of the show, the rose topokki soup, I give it a 10/10. There were many toppings from fried fish cakes, fish cakes, rice cakes, quail eggs, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The sauce tasted amazing as well. I recommend trying this place if you're in the area. It tasted amazing and was worth the price! Next time I go back I'll have to try their gimbap. They had many different flavors I'd want to try!

Wait time deserves 5 stars! My order did come out quickly. The 3 stars is for the cashier & resulting fried chicken. I specifically asked if the fried chicken was spicy? The cashier said no, it's definitely not hot al all. Well, it was WAY TOO spicy for me! I know many people love spicy& heat, but I do not! I ordered a 3 piece and couldn't even finish one piece. I took a bite out of another piece in my order, and it was the same as the first. What a shame because the fried chicken batter had a super crispy crunch. No, I won't be returning.

Having arrived from a red eye flight, I stuck with the classic Bulgogi for the rice bowl and the Gimbap for lunch. I also had a rose topokki soup. The rice bowl was all for me and the other two were shared with my party of three. I ordered water.Bulgogi Rice Bowl - this is not the typical classic Bulgogi Rice Bowl I am used to with the bean sprouts and other veggies. This bowl included brussels sprouts, broccoli, and bell peppers. This is a good combination for taste and compliments each other. The brussels sprouts were crunchy and the bell peppers were soft. Would order again.Bulgogi Gimbap - The box was cute and shows the roll.Rose Topokki Soup - I enjoyed every bite. The soup was creamy and delicious. The sauce comes in different spicy-level options. Unfortunately, if you want to share this with others who have a lower spice tolerance- you will need to pick one spicy level. They don't accommodate making a half and half option.Cashier was friendly. Service was quick and easy. They provided a pager to notify when your order is ready. They offered plenty of utensils. The plastic bags were sturdy.This location is within H-mart in the food court area with other restaurants. Shopping carts are restricted from entering the food court area. That helps to make the place feel spacious. There are plenty of tables available before the noon hour.My disappointment were the water wasn't Aquafina or Dasani and there were no side dishes that came with the rice bowl.Overall would give it a high 3.5 and would definitely go there again if I am in the area.

Mini-me 1.0 approved.We shared a Duo Set.Gal working the front counter was friendly and nice. Restaurant pager went beep beep beep when the food was ready.Spicy soup was spicy and fried snacks managed to keep some crispness after the car ride home.

service is really fast here. It took less than 5min for my dish to come out. I want to try the other stuff here also, but the rice bulgogi came out fast and was pretty good. I would order again especially for a quick bite. This food court in general is one of my favorites

I had a craving for kimbap/gimbap and my husband was in the area so he bought me a couple packs to try. We usually just get it at the Hmart in Mira Mesa, so this was a first for me from this location. The bulgogi gimbap was excellent, the katsu gimbap not so much. Not because it got soggy on the hour plus drive home to me, but because the batter tasted like old oil was used. Lesson learned to steer clear from that one, but I would definitely love to try other things off their menu.

3/2/24, Saturday at 10:30am, l went there with a small group for the first time. We ordered just the large Deep Fried Set for $10.99. They gave us a beeper when to collect the food. It took about 15 minutes. Everything was crunchy and hot. It was good. Just enough to test sample with 3 persons. It could be a meal for one person. We will try something else next time. The consisted of the following: Deep Fried Set Combo was Sweet Potato, Shrimp, Squid, Seaweed Roll, 2 Dumpling, Assorted Vegetables, Cheese Stick. See photos. Good topokki!!! We tried Rose Topokki on a cold night and it just hit the spot! It had quail egg, fish cake, crispy seaweed with glass noodles inside, of course, the tteok, and some veggies. The portion is worth the price. Definitely shareable for us but I could easily put it away myself :) They sell other things. We tried the tuna gimbap before as well and it did not disappoint. Service and ambiance is consistent as any other cafeteria. It is located in the food court in H-mart!

Their gimbap is made to order and is so flavorful and filling. It feels so healthy! The Korean Fried Chicken strips are spiced just right along side that sweet mustard dipping sauce is a flavor crunch bomb! can't wait to try more street food! Go to the communal food court inside the H Mart. There's so many Korean options to experience. The service at each stall is so patient and accommodating too.

The chicken bowl and bulgogi are so yummy my 2 son said..Topokki is super good, according to my daughter. And the gimbap is amazing..
