Enjoyed breakfast and coffee at Java Earth. Their espresso was rich with a subtle sweetness. Really enjoyed the sweet foam cold brew.Breakfast sandwiches were substantial and bagels fresh. Pleasantly surprised at the price point. We were in PB for the week and visited 3 times!

Came here for the first time the other day. I was impressed! For the price point, the quality of the food is excellent, especially when you compare it to other cafés and the area. The strawberry match was a standout with homemade strawberry purée. matcha is a very popular drink nowadays, but most places don't do it right and use a cheap powder that's mostly sugar. Java Earth uses ceremonial grade matcha and you can taste the difference. I liked my soyrizo bowl a lot. The eggs were fluffy and the avocado abundant. It came with a side of warm tortillas. Be sure to ask for Tapatio if you like spicy. The cafe itself is super cute and clean love sitting on the outdoor space. They have a nice set up with some umbrellas for shade. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Excited to go back and try more things! The pastries looked delish!

I love Java! I think they are super reasonably priced and have great keto options. Lots of breakfast bowls, burritos, and coffee options. They are always super busy and the staff is able to keep their cool. It's a loud grab n go environment with limited indoor outdoor seating just because of how busy it is. I crave their options at least once a month! I get the Cali bowl without hash browns and add chipotle mayo plus extra bacon

There aren't a ton of coffee shops in SD that have coffee AND food that are quality. This place will always be one of my go to's for both. I love the breakfast burrito and the bagels here!

What a cool spot Java Earth Coffee is! I popped in for a quick treat-yo-self visit after having gotten a tattoo right around the corner (which by the way - if you're looking for a great tattoo shop, check out Bay Ink Tattoo and the Yelp review I wrote for it!) I loved the decor and interior of the space; simple, modern, open, spacious, and minimalist with great daylight. There was also ample seating - both indoor and outdoor. The staff members were incredibly kind and helpful when it came to asking questions about the menu and ordering. There was a good variety of unique drinks on the menu, to which I ended up ordering the iced pistachio latte. Had I been hungry, I would've also ordered some bites - specifically the lox bagel (What can I say? I'm a sucker for a well-crafted lox bagel! I ought to start a series here on Yelp exploring ALL the places in SD and rating all the lox I eat. Pinning that idea for later!) The pistachio latte was pretty good, however, I definitely want to give the honey vanilla latte a try next time. That's certainly more up my latte-drinking alley.Overall, I had a 10/10 experience at Java Earth and am looking forward to vistiing again soon and trying more menu items. Highly recommend this spot to locals and travelers alike!

While waiting for our food at Clay Oven next door, we stumbled upon this cute cafe and decided to try it out. The service was decent. I asked about the matcha, and the cashier kindly gave me a sample of their happy matcha. It was fine, but from the color I could tell it wasn't ceremonial grade. I still decided to try their strawberry matcha because I just needed a drink, and it was terrible. The staff claimed it was ceremonial grade matcha, but it clearly wasn't from the color and taste. Ceremonial has a very vibrant green as opposed to dull and dark green, and their oat milk was not great either. I couldn't tell which brand it was, but probably not one of the top brands. The store uses cheap ingredients but still charges very high prices. Won't be coming back.

**TOURIST BAE-CATION REVIEW**Food /Drinks - sandwiches' are freshly made and delicious. Acai bowls are rich and filling Service - Order/pay/find a seat. I wish they were a little quicker on the register or have a secondary cashier ready to decrease any line that may form. Ambiance - Perfect lil café, spacious lots of outside seating perfect to respond to emails/ people watching, or post workout wind downOverall - While strolling around the neighborhood I needed my morning coffee fix for my hangover and saw all the delicious sandwiches so I indulged. The lox 4/5 - I wish there were more bagel options only plain and everything bagel options. The Mediterranean was absolutely delicious and toast was not to hard, I should have asked for no olives as it did not agree with my hangover Grand Rising!!!

Cool spot to pick up a quick breakfast and/or espresso or hang out and work in the sun. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Staff is super friendly. They can be bz bz bz at times but if you order via internet, they are very consistent with having your order rdy when you get there.
