Jasmine Mongolian Grill

I've been coming to this place for 12 years, have always loved the food and chefs. Last time I came I was done with my food with my daughter for over an hour before having to get up and ask for a check because I was never checked back on a single time. My table was bussed even while I still sat at it before the severer ever came back even once..... then when I went to pay I asked for a manager and the server was upset and cried and did apologize, which was nice, but also I still told them I have been here for years and was disappointed in the service regardless. Which was fair. Then talked to the guy at front. Not once was I rude or derogatory or disrespectful to anyone. I work in customer service so I get it, but felt it was necessary to voice my experience. Fast forward to today I came back, got a different server, everything was fine, or so I thought. As soon as I paid the new server I got then said "Oh and next time try to refrain from yelling at my servers and making her terrified of you. She runs passed you because she's so afraid of you. Thanks!" In the meanest of tones. I then explained what happened last time and requested for the guy I spoke to last time to explain what really went down that day and she was so rude and told me absolutely not and that this is an employee ran place and up to her to not let me speak to a manager , as evidently there isn't one. She then proceeded to be rude to me. Kept telling me how terrifying I evidently I am and how she couldn't even come near me because she was afraid of what I will do to her as if I'm violent..... I've never even yelled here or been violent once in my life... I then went and spoke to the original server, again calmly, about what happened and she agreed and said she was just hurt because I said I didn't like the service I received that day, as she took it personally, which is fair because it was about her lack of being a good server that day... but the way they handled it that day and now having the new lady that wasn't even there attack me and be blatantly rude to me today AFTER I paid just to stick it to me is horrible. I will never be coming back.Won't let me uncheck the good service mark on this review. But it was horrible service.

the only regret is not finding out about jasmine mongolian grill all the previous times i've visited tacoma!the nicest mongolian bbq restaurant i've ever been to. reasonable price, great selection of meat, veggies, sauces, and there's even after meal ice cream/sorbet to choose from! what's not to love!there's always someone tidying up the self-service bar, the restaurant is really clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. it never took long to wait for our food to be grilled, and the process flow is just great. love that you pay at the front register after your meal.will definitely be back!

I don't think I've ever been to a dedicated Mongolian Grill restaurant before. This was a great experience. We arrived just before 5pm on a Saturday. After being seated and ordering our drinks, we went to the long buffet to build our own bowls. Most people will get one bowl for veggies and another for meat. The food really shrinks once it hits the grill. There are two sides to the buffet, and there's a nice selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and sauces. Once you are through the buffet line, you place your bowl(s) on the counter by the chefs, and they cook it up for you! It doesn't take very long, but when we went back for another round, the grill was completely full, so we had to wait a bit for a spot to open up again. This really hit the spot, and we ate so much food. We had complimentary vanilla ice cream and raspberry sorbet at the end of our meal (brought to our table by the server with the check).

This place is great, clean, friendly staff, pretty well stocked meat and vegetables. Food is good.Only thing that bummed me out about this place is there are no rice noodle options like a lot of other Mongolian grills have, you can get rice, but I love rice noodles personally. It's a great price for what you can get too.

I'm not an all fan of can eat fan. Mainly because I can't eat a lot, but we went here after leaving the spa that was across the street. The price per person is average to a meal at another restaurant so that's reasonable. We sat they offered us rice and drinks. Soda is extra not apart of fee. Basic functions ... fill your bowl or bowls up with your choice of meats, noodles, vegetables etc.. mix up a spicy or non spicy oils and they take care of the rest. I had shrimp and scallops with veggies. It's great for large groups.

Totally recommend and love this place at about $25 per person the price for what you get its not bad. Parties of 8+ get 18% gratuity charge. If I could change anything about this place i see alot of confusion as what people should be doing i would make signs more clearer as what you want people to do. As well labeling food more clearer that way people know what they are eating. When i get it was very positive environment there was 3 birthdays and at the end the waiters came by and gave ice cream as a desert at the end of the meal.

Checked this place out a while visiting family recently. The restaurant is very comfortable with a large amount of tables. Great for family dinners or large get togethers. You grab a bowl or two and go through the buffet style line of different ingredients to build your bowl. There are several meats, veggies and seafood to choose from. Tons of add ons and several different sauces to complete your bowl. You can come up with endless combinations depending on what flavors and ingredients you like. I added chicken, shrimp, noodles, veggies and a yummy teriyaki sesame sauce. After building your bowl you take it to the big wok where the cooks dump it out and cook it up for you while you watch. They plate it back up and you're good to go. You can have as many trips through the line as you like. After dinner they serve you a scoop of ice cream or sorbet. Such a fun place and very filling.

The food is fresh and the service is very good. One complaint I have is that the sauce selection is lacking considering the price. Also, the price is kind of ludicrous. We had 3 people with two getting a diet coke as a drink and it ended up being roughly $100 before the tip. This seems crazy to me considering that you can't even take home your left overs. I understand why restaurants like this don't do that, but for the price, I think it should be an option to take a bowl home. I will go again, but probably only once a year and only because there are so few places of this style around anymore.

Parking: easyFood: similar to the other Mongolian grill place, I love that you can pick your own protein, carb, veggie, and sauces. Plenty of options to choose from! All ingredients look pretty fresh to me. Service: good- normal buffet style service Ambiance: I love that this place is spacious and bright. The only downside is it's a bit pricey; but not unreasonable for Seattle area.

Great buffet place! Lots of choices to put together in your bowl, meats, veggies, sauces. Cooked in front of you! Service is good, except for one waitress, eyes on you if you're sharing with your child! She charges you! Ambiance was basic, but it could get cold sometimes where your eating
