We got the razzle dazzle and the Swiss mushroom burger along with the zucchini fries! Everything was delicious! The burgers hit the spot for a quick meal while we were visiting family in the SDSU area! The zucchini fries were amazing! I'm glad we got them!The location has minimal have a sit down area which we were aware of, we ordered ahead of time and pick up was quick at the window. We were on our way to the hotel, so I think this spot would be great for quick food on the go in the way back to your destination!

I noticed this place had great reviews and the owners cared about the customer experience. They responded to one frustrated customer and invited them back for an improved experience. I ordered pick up and the double bacon cheese burger began great. Half way through the bottom bun began to disintegrate. So did my perfect rating. I enjoyed the burger thoroughly, it really scratched the craving itch. Then it was a bunpacollapse.. That is two bad puns in one. This issue was all the "toppings" are on the bottom bun so it fell apart. I don't love finishing with a fork and knife takes away the ambiance. The flavors were great and the fries crisp which many deliveries get wrong.The fish very nicely fried and not greasy. This showed a real talent for deep frying . Loved it all from top bun until just above the bottom bun. I will return because it is great stuff.

Form the owner of BFF Burgers, Fish, and Fries in La Mesa at Grossmont Center comes Janna's Burgers, Fish and Fries at the Aztec Food Hub on El Cajon Blvd. If you are a fan, Janna is bringing her famous burgers to the hub but with a new gourmet inspired look and taste. That being said, I had her famous combo which came with cheese burger which I updated to a bacon cheese burger, garlic parmesan fries, and one generous portion of fried cod, not to mention a beverage. It's a lot of food, but a delicious amount of food too.The burger was delicious. The quality beef patty was well seasoned and juicy. Janna's secret sauce is outstanding and brings the burger together very well. All the ingredients, the chopped lettuce, sliced ripe tomatoes, the sliced white onions were fresh. The burger also comes with quality pickles and a toasted warm and tasty brioche bun. I definitely loved the burger.Both the garlic fries and fried fish were great. The fries were crinkle fries, which I love, and came with a buttery garlic concoction that was no doubt finger liking good. You can also opt for regular fries. The fried fish was very well prepared. The batter is a house recipe that not only offers great texture via its crispiness but also added flavor as it is well seasoned as well. The fish inside was succulent, flaky, and flavorful. If you like fried fish, check out Janna's fish and chips plate.This place is great and rumors are about that more good things are coming to the menu. Just a note, although there a few wall seats available outside the hub, this location mostly runs as a "to go" or by local delivery establishments. You can order online or at the kiosk at the hub. The people at the front window are friendly.

THE FOOD IS AMAZING! and I have only ordered through delivery app services yet it still comes Sooooo fresh and good. The batter they fry their fish and onion rings in is to die for. The food is literally still just as good the next day. Just after one bite you can tell this place is big on quality. We've tried the bbq burger, Cali burger, shroom burger regular cheese burger, fish burger, fries, onion rings, fish combos and the chocolate shake. All of which were so gooood! The biggest thing that sticks out about this place is the better and fact that the food quality is so consistent. It is crazy that the food doesn't get soggy even if you eat it the next day. I'm obsessed!

The burgers here are PERFECT! So juicy and delicious, and those brioche buns are like a cherry on top The owner is simply the sweetest and the food is so quick! Highly recommend this place

I tired the California burger ! It was so fresh and big ! I barely finished it but I made sure I finished it because it was delicious !! I can't wait to try their other burgers and food on the menu. Highly recommend it !!

Thrilled to share my recent experience at Janna's Burgers Fish and Fries in the college area, near SDSU campus! Went with my veggie friend, and the options for her were spot on too! We were expecting good food, but what we got was even better. Seriously, those burgers and fries are next-level delicious. We enjoyed the fantastic Flavors. Janna's warm hospitality and genuine care also made the meals special. You can taste the craft in every bite - burgers, fish, fries, all delicious. It's a spot where good food and genuine care seem to come together seamlessly. I live pretty far from SDSU, but after experiencing Janna's, I'm already planning more trips down just to indulge in their delicious offerings. Seriously, I can't resist - it's that good! Jana's BFF might just become my new go-to, and I'm more than okay with that.

I ordered the grilled fish sandwich and fries. The quality and seem good but the portion of the fish was pathetic. It was paper thin. Almost non existent. It was I ordered a veggie sandwich. Definitely has potential to be good but they need to work on portion I'll try again if they can actually put a piece of fish big enough to taste. I will update my review accordingly.

This is my third order from Janna's Burgers, Fish & Fries . I have lost a lot weight and reduced my high blood pressure & blood sugar. However the pictures got me . My first order a month ago was a cheeseburger and fries it was delicious. I don't do a lot of red meat but I was craving a real burger it had the Janna special sauce it was wonderful. I mostly eat vegetables , fruit & whole grains and vegan meats 5 days out of 7. Then my other treat meal from here was two pieces of fish with malt & tatar sauce always the crinkle fries. I have to say all my meals have been delivered and arrived hot and fresh fish was flaky on the inside crispy on the outside .Huge pieces of fish and fries not greasy correct amount of salt. However last night 07-18-2024 I had a Janna craving to try her 8 piece mild chicken wings, it came with fries and ranch dressing and Cole slaw. I ordered the Calypso Island wave lemonade. That is why four out of five stars. They forgot to send it. But Door Dash reimbursed me. However I am a preacher from down South. When I thought the food couldn't get any better.BOOM IT DID! The chicken was Delicious it reminded me of my late mother & late older sister's fried chicken .I was almost in tears it was soo GOOD . I CAN FRY A MEAN BATCH OF CHICKEN TOO. I had to can the restaurant this morning to thank them. Explain that if they were in my home state we could use them to cater Sunday meals for guest during afternoon church services. Then I prayed for /with Janna for her business to increase and expand as JEHOVAH THE FATHER GOD did for Jabaz.
