Decided to drop by for lunch on a Monday at 12:00 PM (9/11/23) and waited 10 minutes to be seated. Then another 10 minutes to place our order. I understand it was lunch time and only 1 server was taking care of every table with customers dining in. But not to acknowledge people who were waiting to be seated and then not even being attentive to take the orders for at least 10 mins?!?We have been going to this restaurant regularly and that was probably the worst service we encountered! The food portions decreased and the prices increased, obviously. Every time we visit this restaurant, it seems like they keep changing the portions sizes and prices of the entrees. The side dishes were fine, as usual. Service was poor for this particular day, I must say!!

Geeez people...what's with some of these hater reviews O_0 So far my experience here has been positive--came here on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm to beat the dinner rush, I heard there's often a line out the door and they will take names and phone #s on a list and call you when a table is available. Saw this in action around 6:30pm. I figure if you need to wait for a table at a restaurant the food must be pretty decent right? We ordered the bulgogi (marinated grilled sliced ribeye) platter $33.99, a kal-bi (marinated grilled short rib) platter $33.99, budae jigae (spicy ramen stew with bacon, spam, hotdogs, rice cakes, tofu, cheese) $19.99 and a seafood soondubu (tofu stew) $17.99. All the food was tasty--there was a moment when we first dove into the entrees when we ate in silence, which is when you know we enjoyed the food enough to forget about talking lol. The overall profile of the meal leaned a bit on the sweeter side for K-bbq, and the budae jigae tasted very homey, though I consider for these parts it's quite good. Each entree came with banchan (Korean side dishes) for each person (four of us)--a small fried fish, a scoop of potato salad, spicy picked cucumbers, regular Napa cabbage kimchi, and lightly pickled bean sprouts. I enjoyed all the banchan, they were on par with Korean places in NYC. The servers were all very friendly and asked us multiple times (like maybe 4/5 times) if we would like to have our banchan refilled. Each dish came with rice, and we opted for the rice cooked in a stone bowl, which gets a crust at the bottom that some people enjoy, though the rice tends to be pretty adhered so it's a bit hard to scrape off. They've fit as many seats as they can into this place, about 40ish I think. It's not a big space so I think 6 maybe 8 people would be the largest party they can accommodate. Service overall was terrific, aside from asking about the banchan they came over to refill water and ask how the meal was going. I saw them doing the same for all tables. Prices were pretty ok for the amount of food, I'm comparing to NYC prices for reference.

We've been coming here for years and the price keeps going up but the quality & quantity has been going down. I don't mind paying more bc I understand the COLA has been steady rising. However, to serve HALF a bowl of tofu soup that's super salty (probably bc they added more water and sprinkled more salt in it) for $20 does not sit well with me. I didn't give it one star bc their kimchi cuke & potato salad is still good. But would I be coming back; most likely not.

This place is pretty solid. We came on a Monday night and got seated right away. The restaurant had a decent amount of people. The service was decent. Some of the younger staff weren't as attentive and even forgot our water but the older staff were more so attentive and refilled banchan. The food came out pretty quick and it tasted great. Super flavorful and hot. Everything came out to $40ish (for two tofu soups) and we were pretty satisfied. Would recommend.

I love going to this place anytime I'm at Great Wall. They have amazing service and the staff is so understanding and kind. The food is good as well of course. When I went there was this guy who said his food did not fast right and the workers remade it until the guy liked it, which props to the staff. They also have a really cute wall full of bowls which I will include in a picture.

Food is all super yummy. They asked if we needed more side dishes a few times.Side dishes, tofu soup, all just delicious!!! Seafood pancake is crisp on outside but moist inside. It's pretty pricey. I saw some menus on Yelp but they were before the price increase...It's nice they give complimentary tea here; many Korean stores just give water. Servers were nice and checked it on us a few times. Asked my son (6 years old) if he wanted anything and was super friendly to him despite my son being obnoxious and loud. They have high chairs, boosters, plastic bowls & utensils for kids. Kids friendly. My kids love eating the tofu soup mixed with rice, Korean mashed potato salad and kalbi. This shop is located inside Great Wall shopping mall; there are many 50 cent coin operated ride on & 25 cent to $2 capsule & claw machines. So before and/ or after your delicious meal, kids get to have entertainment too. Also drink & dessert shops in the mall. You can get your groceries at 99 ranch in the mall too!

It's been a while since we had Korean and I remembered this place. We came in hangry and left satisfied. Ordered bulgogi and spicy pork, bimbimbop, soup, and seafood pancake. Everything was so delish. One complaint is that the meat came with lots of raw onions. This place is packed on the weekends. It's a small place. I'm a thin gal and even I worry about hitting someone while walking through the place. The decor has been the same for the last..I don't know..20 years it seems like -which is fine. I come here for the food. There banchans are good -a little on the smaller side. The variety is so-so.I was a little reluctant getting the pancake because last time, it was too charred for me. This time, the charred level was just about acceptance level for me.Their soup is their specialty! Highly recommended. Will be back more often for sure!

Slightly different than any other Korean place we've been to, but really good. The fried fish was surprisingly great. A bit stingy on panchun. We had beef tofu stew, kalbi, and bibimbap and everything was really good. They got really good crisp on the rice in the bibimpbap. The seafood pancake wasn't "traditional" but really, really good - thicker than I'm used to, but again really tasty. The main guy - not sure if he was the owner, but he was def running the place - was a bit loud and dare I say almost frantic seeming, but service was fine.

Parking in the Ranch 99 Market Plaza is not my favorite because it is a little wonky made, but I am glad it has expanded a little bit since the last time I have visited. This time around I ordered the Mixed Tofu Soup, and it was great as per usual! The staff working were very on top of things, providing us more tea and side dishes frequently.
