I was visiting the area with family and was looking for a place to eat when we stumbled across this restaurant. The food was amazing, the jerk chicken with the gravy on the side and a side of oxtail gravy for my rice was so delicious!! The oxtails were also very tasty. We ended up eating here twice while in town, that's how good it was. We had great service both times. You order your food at the counter and then find a place to seat. There is limited seating inside but the restaurant was clean and pretty quiet as well. If you're in the area and you have a taste for some Jamaican food, stop and try it!

Just ordered a akcee and saltfish breakfast.... Very disappointed. A big mountain of dumplings and a little dab of ackee and a small portion of callalu. Tasted alright, that's why I gave it 2 stars. Waaaaaay overpriced at $18 for that little bit of food. Ordered a drink and got short changed on that also. Count ur change!! Find another restaurant!! Plenty of better Jamaican Restaurants around who will treat u right!!

I placed a to go order over the phone on a Friday evening and ordered whole escovitch red snapper with rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, and jerk tenders. The cashier was extremely nice as she took down my order and said everything would be ready in 15 mins. I walked in about 20 minutes later but my order wasn't ready yet which was no problem. She apologized for the long wait but it was ready and bagged shortly after that. The food was for my husband but I took a few bites. He says everything was good but what I tasted was just ok. I've eaten here many years ago and remember the food being much better. I wouldn't make a special trip to Jamaica Jamaica but if I'm in the area I'd give them another try.

When your food is being cooked and prepared by JAMAICANS how can you lose!!!! The service is outstanding plus the ambiance is life... I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!

Family run Jamaican restaurant. I had the king fish dinner. Meal was 2 steaks served with 3 sides: rice and peas, steamed cabbage, and fried plantains. Good sized portion was very filling.Food was good (Sorry, no picture.) and I will eat here again.

The fact that Jamaica Jamaica was highly recommended by not one, but two ex's should have been a red flag. But despite our differences, their taste in food was in alignment with mine. So, when in the neighborhood last weekend I decided to give them a try. Parking was well lit and found spot near entrance.Location offered moderate parking and interior was clean and decorated in island theme - map of Jamaica with parrishes, Bob Marley picture and restaurant shirts. Workers were helpful and patient as I navigated menu. Decided on oxtails and asked what accompanied main course. Was told rice, cabbage (medley) and plantains. I pressed more about type of plantain due to my preference of mature green versus sweet. Was told sweet or ripe, but after checking was told that current batch was more mature - bingo! Ordered extra and paid @$15 for oxtails and additional $2 and change for order of 1/2 dozen. They accepted wallet, processed payment and took order to go.Plantain was perfect as I like to begin with the positive, but unfortunately was underwhelmed by oxtails and cabbage. Not used to seeing corn or peas in cabbage medley and required addition of seasoning. Oxtails were sparse and lacked the flavor I was accustomed to receiving in this dish. The peas and rice were good also. I am willing to return to establishment and try other offerings since reviews read before posting this raved about curry goat and jerk chicken. Also, it is one of the few places in that area (mainly fast food or wing spots) that offer a balanced meal at reasonable prices.

Dead ass WRONG for giving me a few pieces of oxtails! Never again! I just had a baby & was craving oxtails. My Hispanic husband didn't know any better to come here and not check the food. The cabbages are unseasoned & under cooked, all I taste is butter.

Got the curry chicken ($10) and the oxtail dish ($16), both of these dishes were SO good, I cleaned my plate! Service was great, staffs were really kind. I can't wait to come again and try other dishes! There's a large parking lot and very casual environment.

Firstly, the presentation is amazing. The price is just right and the food was way better than I imagined. 3rd time getting the same thing and I enjoy it!

I ordered fish from there and it was dry with no flavor, no seasoning and I was truly disappointed. I will not be going back there again. when I called to express my concerns the manager was rude. i have had delicious meals from there in the past but. I could see why the restaurant was empty went I went in today. Terrible food, overpriced and poor customer service.
