A relative took me here for an early lunch. Standard chips and salsa arrived at our table. Service was efficient and our food came out pretty quick. My breakfast plate of eggs, bacon, and hash browns was burn free and with a little salt and pepper was good. I threw a bit of salsa on it also and a side of flour tortillas also came with it. Bonita has a pretty decent sit down Mexican restaurant option.

My granddaughter and I come to this Jalisco's in Bonita once or twice a month. She just loves the colorful pink walls and fun decorations. What I love is Renee. She's been a server here for many years and is just the kindest. She remembers you, is always smiling , checks in on you and is just a joy to have as part of your morning. I'll be with you. There are many different menu items to choose from but you can have anything from pancakes and sausage to Machaca and eggs. They've got the best salsa and chips too.

Been overdue writing this review up.Loved how Jalisco Cafe was able to move down a few doors to expand their operation.We'd seldom visit at the older spot- because we USED to frequent a business in National City- a bit closer to home.But, when quality of food (not portions/ not service)- the taste of it dwindled poorly- we've been returning back to Jalisco Cafe.We come here on different days & times.... And not ONCE has the quality of food dwindled.I love how I can especially order a bowl of pozole and the broth is piping hot first thing for breakfast or when I arrive at 7pm on a random weeknight.And- not just that- the FLAVOR you get with the broth!Like, you know damn well the brewed it with real ingredients to give it depth... in color & richness.Not a bland mediocre of liquid you can open from a can and say "homemade ".Thank you Jalisco Cafe for keeping it real.

First time here... food was ok not excited.Chips and salsa or pick de gallo 1/10I ordered enchiladas de mole were 6/10 something I'd never go back for.My friend ordered chorizo con huevos 8/10Tamales we're reheated awful.Plates have not presentation :0(Service was good Ambiance was to quite, you can hear utensils, I mean something I didn't like sorry Not for me so I do not recommend

We went in for lunchOrdered a Chile Relleno my husband ordered Bisteak Ranchero.The rice was under cooked, the Chile Relleno had no flavor completely bland. The Bisteak Ranchero was ground beef with tomato sauce. No Chile,onions or anything else. His rice was also undercooked. The beans were good.The service was okay.We will not be returning.

Food was over priced. I paid $105 for 12 "tamales" almost $10 each one. All tamales were not even filled properly everything was masa. Don't recommend.

Giving 4 stars. Service was excellent, 5 star. Food was 3-3/1/2 star. Basic but tasty. Decor was pleasant. That said, the chips and salsa need to be rethought. Also, my plate had a huge chip (not a tortilla, ) on the edge.

Terrible food. Would give a zero if I could. Chips stale and hard. Margarita tasted like a mix. Chicken Suzia was dry shredded chicken with little flavor or seasoning other than the green sauce on it. Rice was dry too. Worst Mexican food I have ever had. Didn't finish the drink and only ate half of one of the Suzias (it came with 2). Told the waitress, but there was no offer to get something else. Literally paid over $50 for the drinks and food. Then, I went to a different restaurant. I have never had to do that at a restaurant before.
