Young's Kitchen

Going through Newberry to their farmer's market one Saturday, came across this place just across from the town's Hardee's.Unlike that chain, these kind folks have breakfast all-day and a variety of classic southern food. Burgers, omelettes, fried shrimp, fish, salmon patties, lots of sides and, of course, sweet tea. I ordered the half-and-half fried shrimp and fish combo. Both were freshly-fried and the fries were nicely seasoned. To say these folks were enthusiastic is an understatement, and it shows in the quality of their food. They told me an updated menu is in the works, and they currently open at 6am and close around 2pm daily. Will definitely be back!

After all the great reviews, we finally had a chance to try out Young's. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing! We will be back
