So I have been to the original Woodland Burgers in Keystone Heights (OK, really in Lake Geneva, but who actually knows where that is?) a large number of times, but then I found out that there was a location in Archer which happens to be a bit closer for me to go to (not by much, sadly... I still have to go through Gainesville to get to it, and that is harrowing). I have also at least driven by and seen their third location over in Palatka, but not eaten there yet.The location in Archer is a standalone building that has been renovated from what it used to be... and it has been a lot of things over the years! At one time it was Community Auto Sales, then it turned into Dan's Tire & Auto, then it became Family Motorsports, before morphosizing into Rikin's Roasted Pigs (a Cuban American food place), until finally being completely renovated into Woodland Burgers. And it has been a complete renovation! The place looks nothing like the original incarnations of the building, and they have done a wonderful job on the place!Entering, we were greeted by the staff. We looked through the menu (well, my mom did, I knew what I was getting) and then made our orders. The place was busy, which for Archer is amazing and a wonderful thing to see. It is always so nice to see a local business thrive like this!We got our orders, and sat down to eat them. I do love the Big Shot Burger, and I was not disappointed yet again. I don't think it was any different from the one I got in Keystone, but I think psychologically I am feeling it wasn't quite as good. Again, I am thinking that is purely psychological and I will need to go back and try again before I really make a judgment in that regard.Overall though, our experience was great, and because it is now a mid-point between my house in North Gainesville and my mom's in Ocala, it makes for a nice meet-up point in between.

Nice, pretty new fast food restaurant right in the heart of lil ol' Archer. Not a whole lot of dine-in space inside but enough and it's new, clean, and pretty straight-forward. The menu is extensive for a place like this: wings, lots of different kinds of burgers, fries of course, and more. I got a classic cheeseburger, fries, and an unsweet iced tea. So why only three stars? Well, to begin with the guy behind the counter was curt at best: not welcoming at all, didn't seem to keen on being there, even. The iced tea was from a branded company--I forget which one--but fill-your-own-cup yet pretty weak iced tea. Whether sweet or unsweet, a restaurant in the South ought to have good iced tea I say and this tasted very watered-down. The burger was okay, but nothing special. The fries were kind of dry, unimpressive. It was a passable lunch, but nothing at all special. When you go somewhere independent like this, I expect something a bit special like with MotLee's in Macclenny--which is excellent. Maybe with time things will improve? The tea is a small thing, but nothing in my order seemed very impressive including the burger itself. It would be nice to have a great burger joint in Archer like MotLee's is for Macclenny, Two Fat Guys in Lake City, or other indie burger joints across Florida, so I'm still hoping for that.

I was glad to see that woodland put a location closer to me and was a standalone location. Several coworkers have eaten here since they opened a couple weeks ago. People talk highly of woodland's burgers, and they did not disappoint. The burger was amazing, corn nuggets were good too. Very clean has been open about three weeks, I believe. Very friendly staff. For a small town like Archer, this definitely is a good thing, and there's a short drive from gainesville, and so worth it. We will be back out here soon.

Had chicken wings, dry rub Cajun were the best. Hot wings could use a little more heat. Dipping sauces marginal. Blue cheese a little lackluster, ranch a bit watery. Counter service fast and efficient. No table service available. Restaurant was clean and presentable. No special ambience. Hamburgers look very good when I saw them come out. We'll have to try them next time.

We've have ordered several times and all of our food has been good. Wings, Burgers and Chicken sandwiches were all tasty. Archer really needed a quick and easy food spot.

The food and ambiance of the restaurant was great but, the service was horrible. I went in for a take out order late last night 11/27/24. I went ordered and paid then went outside to finish my phone call, came back in 20 minutes, as they told me my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. I went to register and asked if my order was ready the guy said "no" without looking. I went back to the register 5 minutes later and the same food that was just sitting up on the counter was mine, when I asked the first guy about it he said "I called you but, you can't hear". I yelled at him and told him if my food was cold he would be wearing it and I clearly came here and asked you if it was ready, all of a sudden he didn't understand English. I WILL NOT BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER due to their customer service!!!
