I was out for a motorcycle ride and passing through the Keystone area, and it was time for some lunch. I know of most of the places in the area, but I hadn't been to Woodland, so I figured I would give it a shot.Gas station burger joints are a rare breed. The only other one I know of in the region is over in Fernandina Beach (totally worth it... great burgers there as well!) so finding a place that is a lot closer to home for me is a great find. I went for the Big Shot burger (the most expensive one on the menu at $10.99, so you know that the prices here are very reasonable) and was very happy with the result. The burger is excellent, and it came out in a reasonable time considering burgers are made from scratch. The fries that came with the meal were also excellent. The place is a simple affair... counter seating around the windows, a couple of tables with chairs, counter ordering, that sort of thing... and it is in a gas station with a convenience store through an opening to the side. But the ambiance is just what I wanted. The staff behind the counter are polite and get your order in just fine.

Well, what can I say about a burger place inside a gas station that hasn't already been posted? Fresh and hot, the burgers for dinner tonight were both delicious. Mama and I both got the Ranch House burger, mine with fries and hers without (so she could steal some of mine, of course). Ordered at the counter and the food came out quickly. The place was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They missed the 5th star due to the fries being average, not a fitting accompaniment to the really good burgers. NOTE: they have raised their prices from the previous menu pics that were posted here. My menu pics have the latest pricing.

We had heard from several people we knew up in Keystone Heights (actual servers at different restaurants here) that their new fav place was Woodland Burgers. I FINALLY found myself in Keystone on an errand with time on my hands and a meal to figure out where to eat. Even though we're familiar with many other places to eat here that definitely fantastic for an early dinner, i managed to talk the "other half" into stopping here and trying them. You wouldn't think such a good food place takes up residence in one half of a gas station (convenience store)...but let me tell you...OH. MY. GOSH!!!We glanced at the menu but told the girl behind the counter that we had never been here before and she suggested the Woodland Burger, telling us that it had won awards in Chicago (to which my smart-allecky spouse told her we weren't IN Chicago). I went ahead and ordered it with onion rings. He got the Hot Rod burger. My burger was comprised of homemade garlic & chive aoili, provolone, crispy fried onions & applewood smoked bacon. The Hot Rod was pepperjack cheese, fried jalapeño crisps, 2 slices of applewood smoked bacon & homemade jalapeño aioli. We also ordered 7 bone-in parmesan/garlic wings. Talk about some amazing, truly gourmet, EPIC flavors! I told my husband that I felt the burger and onion rings I had was comparable to anything BurgerFi has (and they're my fav...or WERE). Instead of us driving all the way into Gainesville for that gourmet burger fix, I've just found the place sooooo much closer that is mind-blowingly good! And if you think no one knows about this place or that they'd rather have fast food in a town with every fast food restaurant...heck no! This place's phone never stopped ringing the entire time we were there! And at least 30 more people funneled through, getting those delicious sandwiches! The line was LITERALLY OUT THE DOOR and STILL more people are pulling up and going inside to order! There are only about 5 tables inside but there's a counter that wraps around from close to the front doors to the front counter where you can sit and eat or wait for your take-out in nice bar stool. And no, they are NOT slow by any means. We got ALL of our food in maybe 5 minutes, if even that long. Of course, we got there BEFORE the dinner rush (obviously). They have an extensive gourmet line-up of burgers, wings, chicken sandwiches, tenders, salads, a soup, hand-made ice cream shakes, ice cream cones and over 20 different sides to add to your meal.If you live anywhere in the surrounding areas and want quality...real quality food...here's your place. We're talking one of the best burgers you'll ever put in your mouth. Haven't tried their chicken sandwiches yet, but I assure you, THAT'S NEXT. There's plenty of parking, they have both Pepsi AND Coke products in fountain machines or cans. These people aim to please! From the welcoming presence as you walk in, to them delivering the food to your table. Great, great place!I highly HIGHLY recommend!!

If you're a foodie and happen to be in Keystone Heights, your dining options are limited, especially on a Sunday. Gainesville's about 50 minutes away, and the next nearest town is Starke, which is just as limited. We were in the mood for burgers, but didn't want fast food. We found a place in Keystone Heights on the corner of SR 100 and CR 214 in a BP gas station. It's called Woodland Burger and Wings. No geotag. Address is 6262 Co Rd 214 in Keystone Heights.Overall, it wasn't bad and scratched that not-fast-food burger itch. And it was fairly busy with lots of people picking up to-go orders and a few families dining in after a day on the lake.We started with some onion rings. Ten rings come to an order. They came out hot and they were tasty. For a burger, Mah Wife got a basic cheeseburger and I got the restaurant's namesake burger, "The Woodland Burger."It was a burger topped with provolone cheese, two strips of applewood smoked bacon, onion straws, and slathered with a garlic chive aioli. The burger was tasty, a bit overdone for me. I like my burgers more on the medium side. This was well-done. The garlic and chive aioli was good. I think next time, I'll request to add a tomato and some lettuce for a contrast of temp and texture. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. But was it good enough? Yes. I'd go back and try some other burgers, especially since there are so few dining options in the area.

We enjoyed Woodland Burgers several times this summer. My son was working at a camp nearby and he told me this was the go-to spot for all counselors. I quickly saw why!Located inside a gas station, I was surprised to find a kitchen that cranked out some really good burgers and fries! On my last visit, I tried their wings & they were worth returning for. They're located very close to the Palatka - Lake Baldwin RailTrail, so it'll be a regular stop!

I've eaten from here multiple times. I have not had anything that I did not love. Their food is cooked to order. Also, they give you a lot. My husband and I usually only order one burger and fries, and we split it, because it's so much food. They are worth every penny!!

Don't let the location throw you. It's in a gas station, sure. But the burgers are top notch and better than anything you would get in any restaurant. We loved the different varieties that were available. This is a five star review because this is a burger place and the burgers were great. The milkshakes were just okay. I would pass.

Really good place for wings, they were very large and had great taste. Service was quick. We also had a massively large salad which in itself could have been the main course. We will definitely return to this little gem of Palatka.

Pretty fast accurate service. Probably best burgers in town which is so odd because it is in a gas station. Parking is terrible most the time

Don't let judge this book by its cover. Conveniently located next to the gas station, this burger/ wing spot is phenomenal. I ordered The Classic Burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly with cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard. The fries were seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper. The food was hot when it hit the table. My husband ordered the wings and they did not disappoint. I would recommend trying this place the next time you need a quick bite.
