Wok on Wheels

Disgusting! Couldn't eat it! No flavor! I ordered fried rice with chicken. It was white, no color or seasoning with over cooked mushy rice and NO veggies. Just gross!

Wok on Wheels is the newest food truck to join the Asian food sector. From what I was told, the owners of the recently closed Chun King Mongolian BBQ are now running Wok on Wheels, a Pan Asian food truck. The 2 owners has a combined 70 years of cooking experience. I just aged abit after typing that.Pad Thai (5/5): Just as good as any Pad Thai's I've tasted around townThai Basil (4/5): Equally good, nice flavorBeef Jerky: Lao Style (4/5) I was expecting flavored jerkies, but this was a different version. They were just okay when eaten alone, but they're great when dipped in the Jeow Bong dipping sauce that it came with (credit to Yelper, Alyssa P for pointing out the name of sauce). The jerkies came w/ Sticky Rice rice, which were mid cooked; I wasn't a fan of.Honorable mentions...the Eggrolls and Crab Rangoons (4/5). They were good.Strawberry Green Tea drink (3/5): It was just okay to me. It reminded me of the taste of a Crystal Light drink, and I mean no insult by that either. Wow is right. From the food, service and speed. I was excited when I first came across them at a food truck event. They offer a great range of options and a good price. If they are near I am going. If you like hot, the "Wow hot" is on point. Keep up the great work WOW!

Amazing! First time trying and am more than happy! It was quick and yummy - plus a little bit left over! Food trucks always over charge and I'm still hungry ~ NOT here! So yummy! It wasn't all noodles plenty of protein - THANKS Wok On Wheels

Wok on Wheels was our neighborhood Friday night food truck this week. We ordered 2 of the WOW Samplers and an order of chicken fried rice. The food was good which is the only reason we are giving two stars. The problem was getting our food. The samplers were given to us right away, but we waited over 50 minutes for the fried rice! It wouldn't have mattered what we ordered, 50 minutes to get your food does not work no matter how good it is. They were not super busy and only called 8 tickets during our 50 minutes. Online orders seemed to jump ahead of those of us who were standing there. They have to get their ticket times under control or there is no way this truck will make it.

The staff were so sweet, food was fresh, and quality ingredients. Very happy since I've tried to get fried rice a few different times recently and it's just the yellow dyed rice. This one is actually fried and yummyBonus: Legitimately the best Thai tea I've had

Overcooked noddles no flavor or veggies and 4 slices of chicken. Reached out to owner and no response.

The food is fresh and plentiful. If you haven't tried it... you're missing out. There hasn't been a dish we haven't loved. Just wish they would bring back the beef jerky and sticky rice...oh. And the hot sauce. DEFINITELY the hot sauce. #BahPhetBahSap

I ordered the chicken teriyaki (13$), the first thing that hit my tongue was the extreme taste of salt. The second thing to hit me was an extreme regret I can't eat this meal. Terriyaki should be sweet not blindingly bitter and salty. What a waste of time and money there is much better chicken teriyaki in Jacksonville at this price level.

I generally don't write bad reviews unless the food made me sick, but we've tried here twice and the food has been bland and tasteless each time. I don't understand how you can taste this and sell it and think nothing is wrong. I got the lomein with tofu and the tofu was mushy, almost boiled texture, and the noodles were obviously over cooked. Even worse, the sauce was thin pale tasteless and pools at the bottom instead of sticking to the noodles like a good lomein. It tastes like the sauce is just the pasta water with no thickener. I had to season the hell out of my dish. Total waste. We also got the pad Thai which had the slight sourness of a decent pad Thai sauce but was otherwise unremarkable, and it also had the awful tofu. 2 stars for the decent crab Rangoon
