Wild Ginger

My daughter took me to this restaurant for lunch one day and we had a very nice time. The food came out fresh, hot and tasty. The service was very good and the atmosphere was really nice. We will be back.

We don't have this chain by us in NY and I wanted to try it out. I don't think this location was the way to do that. It's in the old Red Crab building and they didn't change ANYTHING. The interior is the same, the seats still have the logo on the backs of them, they're even reusing the napkin dispensers on the tables with the red crab on them. The whole experience of walking in it just weird - I can't really explain it but the vibe is way way off. It's dirty feeling and used, which isn't how you want to feel when eating seafood, especially raw seafood. All that being said, the food itself was pretty good. We only tried the lettuce wraps and had three sushi rolls (I've forgotten the names of them) and all were decent. I just would choose to go to a better sushi restaurant than eat here. Maybe we will try the Daytona location and see if it's better in a newer cleaner location. Props to our server who was very sweet and funny.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Clean restaurant and comfortable seating. Our waitress was super sweet with a great sense of humor and checked on us often. There's a few little hiccups such as waiting to be seated and then waiting for someone to take our order. Out of fairness, we did arrive right at opening time of 11:00. It felt like they just weren't ready to start doing business. We started with their special appetizer of Ocean Nest which was absolutely delightful. A nest of fresh mango and cucumber sticks topped with sashimi tuna, salmon, and krab with a savory ponzu style sauce and topped with fresh cilantro. So fresh and balanced. Our mains were from the lunch menu. Mine was Kung Pao Shrimp that was delicious but missing the peanuts. Same situation with my husband's Kung Pao Tofu ... no peanuts. It wasn't a deal breaker as I said, just a few hiccups. Food is savory flavor bombs and when they get more experience this place will be rocking!We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Ok food but not outstandingSalad was not authentic and pad Thai was almost like instant

So before new owners took over this place was amazing always slapped to be fair I only ever get the seafood boils King Crab Lobster Tail Shrimp Eggs potatoes corn extra hot garlic butter lemon and their fried shrimp basket and onion rings everything is always great, usually. The last 2 times I have been there though, the flavors and taste were there it's just my stomach hurt and it sent me straight to the bathroom!!!! And it wasn't just me my son and my husband this has never happened before so they told me they weren't going back, I however still might try them again because like I mentioned before the taste was on point and after I got home and handled my business I was fine. So I'll be back next time to leave an updated review. The place is cute regular seafood looking joint nothing special they are clean, the bathrooms could be cleaner but I have seen worse. I love the staff they are great it is always a good time when I am in attendance. Oh their sushi I would just stay clear from if you're a high level sushi eater but if you aren't then go for it, not my cup of tea which is why I stick to the seafood boils and the fried baskets. I have tried 3 rolls 2 I cannot remember didn't like them the one roll I do remember was the spicy tuna it was mediocre but better than the other 2 rolls. It's a nice family place or a regular good old date night spot. Hope this helps.

Hubby and I decided to have a 'special' lunch for our special day. This is our first time and wanted to check out this relatively new restaurant. Well, so far, it doesn't disappoint! As we entered, we were happily greeted by the hostesses.Our server, Sierra, is so pleasant and attentive! She has gauged the timings between courses perfectly which allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our meals. We chose a selection of appetizers - 1. Corn hush puppies that were lightly fried and contained corn kernels, super delish!2. Egg rolls were okay and a touch over fried. 3. Crab Rangoon - light and crispy. Surprise filling made with cream and American cheese! So tasty too!4. Miso Ginger Salad -fresh and savory. We totally enjoyed our entree choices:1. Seafood Ramen - delicious, tasty, and has a combination of sweet and salty flavors. Great selection if you're an avid ramen eater.2. Shrimp Pad Thai - good and tasty with no skimping on the shrimp. If extra hot spicy flavor, get hot sauce on the side. 3. Sweet and sour chicken - lightly fried chicken and rice on the side. Tasty and the sweet and sour sauce was unique, in a good way. Overall, we found this restaurant to be family friendly, excellent service, and comfortable surroundings. Give Sierra a shout out when you come to dine! She was awesome!

We visited this restaurant because we were looking for Ramen. My daughter-in-Law enjoyed it. There was plenty and she was looking forward to eating the leftovers. I ordered the Edamame and Thai Chili Chicken wings. I was not a fan of the wings, they were over cooked or microwaved (not quite sure). Also had a JB roll. It was just okay. Eel skin a little chewy. The waiter was mentioned in the reviews before. He was very quick to have us order and was not available for questions. He dropped of ipad to finish checking out and left it at table. It's a shame, we were interested in dessert. The restaurant was ok. Table was sticky but we couldn't catch speedy to have it wiped again. We will not return.

Went to lunch with some friends and everyone was pleased with the food and the service .Place is the old Red Crab which I never visited but Wild Ginger is very very good . The place is clean , the food is excellent and the stff is very attentive . Will visit soon again .

OMGBest Sushi EverYou must try this salmon and snow crab no rice sushi!!!!The staff was amazing and they have great mixed cocktails.
