Adobo Bao. Well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we were excited to try this one but it was on the dry side. Will give it a second chance next time.

Our absolute favorite restaurant to visit during trips to Amelia Island. The food is incredible, the ambiance is friendly and casual, and the service is always top notch. Our family adores this place and will recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

This place is so popular in Amelia Island for a good reason. It's so good. The line is out the door, but the reason is because you order when you come inside and the menu is visible on the wall. Afterwards, you can find a seat and they bring your food to you.For this visit, I ordered the Panko ahi tuna bao buns. It comes in two but others come in three, the ones with meat at least.I scarfed these down so fast but it is bc it was soo tasty. Like my fave food on this whole trip.Definitely this is worth it and I would crave their food now. Thus why I wished I ordered more here. This place is busy and you may or may not be able to hear the others in your group. They do have outside seating also which would be ideal at other times of the year.Hopefully I can be back in the winter for the Dickens Xmas weekend but then I'm sure they place will be even busier

My wife and I really enjoyed the food at this location, service plus stellar, and the owner came around and greeted each customer at some point during your meal. The location is not exactly on the main drag, and parking is a significant issue, but it's worth the drive and it's worth the meal. But what about the food? Corn ribs - I love corn, but I wasn't thrilled with the ribs. There was not a lot of seasoning and the corn was not very sweet.Grilled octopus - hands-down, my FAVORITE dish.Sweet Chili Shrimp - very goodFried Pork Chop over rice - good, but more of a spice kick than I care for The owner clearly enjoys what she does, because she comes around and speaks to everyone. Some are clearly regulars that she has long conversations with, but she stopped and talk to us, and it was our first time in.

Asian street food in downtown historic Fernandina Beach? Yes please!Ordered the Bao Trio (Bao basically means bun in Chinese BTW) Braised Pork Belly Bulgogi Beef and Fried Chicken-it was alright, the pork was a bit dry and thought the sauce could have more flavorful.Pork Ramen was very good-the Miso broth was delicious and went well with the noodles. The place is very clean, there is enough parking for guests. The ambiance and music was very chill. The staff was very friendly and not to mention, the order was very quick-in less than 5 minutes! It was definitely worth the one drive to check out Wicked Bao and hope to be back soon and order the Vietnamese coffee it was my favorite out of all the items I ordered.

There's plenty of good things to say about Wicked Bao! We ate outside and the breeze kept us cool. Great meld of flavor combinations in the Baos!! I couldn't believe how quickly our food arrived - my favorite was the Vietnamese Coffee!! A layer of sweetened condensed milk in the bottom of cup and boiling water poured over the cup holding the coffee grounds. Wait for all the water to drain. Stir the coffee and milk (a little for not too sweet) and for me, I stirred all the condensed milk in the bottom -- it was a fantastic cup of coffee!!! The service was great too. You order and pay up front and within a few minutes of sitting down, your food has arrived.I forgot to add my video of how the coffee is done.

This restaurant looks like a cute little house from outside, offering both interior and patio seating. It's a very trendy hot spot, and we went on a Friday. It was very busy. We stood in the queue to order about 15 minutes. It then took another 25 minutes to get our table. This isn't a traditional sit down and order restaurant. It's like an Asian Tijuana Flats. You order ahead and wait for them to call your number for your table. Then you wait for the food to arrive at your table. We got an order of the chicken satay, the veggie potstickers, the beef noodle soup, and 2 Bulgogi beef bao buns, we were extremely hungry after waiting so long for the table and then the food. The problem with this place is that the plates of food arrive at different times, and I don't mean a few minutes in between. It could be 15 minutes before another plate arrives. There were times when only 1 of us was eating. Then another item would arrive. 1 item at a time. Making it very difficult to eat together. The wait times in between plates were extremely long. When we would ask what was going on, they just kinda shrugged like, "Who knows."The food was good, but I would probably never go again.I didn't feel it was worth the long wait times for semi fast food.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Fernandina area. I found this local Jem years ago and I love it when I get the opportunity to come back. The menu is full of delicious items. It's always difficult to pick just one or a few things. Of course, I always start with the Roti. It Comes out of the kitchen quickly and it comes hot & fresh. The Curry that is served alongside is flavored perfectly. Their Bao is another good choice. I like the trio because you get fried chicken, pork belly & the Bulgogi. The crispy Pork Chip Rice was a new item for me and just as delicious. The Pork Chop is seasoned well. Served with slaw & sweet chili sauce over some white rice. You'll be a big fan of Wicked Bao. They don't play around!

Nice small, neat airy space with friendly helpful staff. Small plates, like their potstickers are homemade and very tasty. Try the Bao sampler, see which ones you like and get more. Very tasty. I tried the beef soup and it was large and good, but too salty for my taste. Will definitely come back and try some other menu items that sound delicious.Tried the Kimchi pork and shrimp Ramen on my second visit which was excellent and just enough. Baos are very good but very small - more of a small plate then a dinner. The Sake drinks of the month are very unique and tasty. Good small beer selection. Service is very fast so you are in and out before you know it. Would like to see serving sizes slightly larger for the the average diner, but overall a favorite of mine in Fernandina Beach!

The location is away from the main business stretch near the industrial area, and the one-way streets mean that parking a couple of blocks away is probably the best decision. The place delivered all I could have asked for in a vacation eatery. An involved owner gave me a personal greeting, the menu had numerous vegetarian options (some with egg, but a worthwhile number without), and ample indoor and outdoor seating was available.I went for green beans and these were a tad heavy being fried and with mayo, but certainly satisfying. The bao one comes for are pillowy soft buns, and fried tofu with carrot and daikon pickles makes for a simple but striking flavor clash. My mochi were a nice little dessert, and a tea washed things down. Watching other tables order, I immediately wished I had room for everything else that I could eat on the menu.

First visit and won't be the last.My only complaint is that I have to drive over an hour to get here.Food - loved every item I got to try.Kimchi Fried Rice - one of the best I've tried.Bulgogi Bao - meaty, spicy & mighty tastyBraised Pork Bao - succulent & flavorful.Beef Noodle Soup - definitely NOT a regular Beef Noodle Soup. The broth is thin but what an umami bomb and warms the soul...perfect for cold nights. The food order came out fast! As in, we ordered and paid at the counter, walked to our table (30 feet away maybe?), sat down, drink orders came right after, Bao orders came a minute later & the rest in less than 5 minutes! And to top it off...the owner/chef was very nice and accommodating. Helped us w the ordering and checked on us 2-3 times while we were there. So, yea, I'm definitely going back and another reason to drive to Fernandina Beach...Ride at Fort Clinch State Park then come here for awesome post-ride eats!!!Two birds, one stone as they say :)
