Whit's Frozen Custard of Mandarin

Black-Jamaican American Mommy...this is my experienceWhit's is known for their flavor of the day...I guess. I was actually UNDERWHELMED at the flavor options available as ready-to-server. I went here with my kiddo who loves the bright-colored and mixed-colored ice cream. Whit's is missing the Superman, Cotton Candy, Play Dough, Cookie Monster flavors that would make any kid excited. My daughter (6) was lost on ordering. I convinced her to get a regular cup of vanilla with gummy worms. I ordered the a cup of vanilla with cheesecake bites mixed in & Strawberry topping. I was actually glamoured by the mix-ins and toppings. It actually felt like it was too much to read for me. The shop itself is not indicative of an ice cream shop. I wanted the decor, the welcome in, the taste the flavors experience. NONE was present. Also, this is a custard so it's a lot creamier than your regular ice cream flavor.

Always a must-have when I am in town. The custards are always fresh and there is always a new flavor of the day that customers are allowed to sample. All the staff at all locations have been nothing but nice. If you miss the flavor of the day most of the time, there may be a quart or pint in the freezer. New York Cheesecake is a must-try if they have it in stock; I usually go for the vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. I also recommend the root beer float.

Great custard, speedy service, easy parking. I had a good sized sundae with two toppings under $8.

Had a family outing to pick up ICE CREAM, to treat the kids. Whit's is absolutely delicious with multiple options. It took us a while to figure out what to order because we wanted to try something different. The staff let us try the flavor of the week and were very patient with us while we decided. We ended up getting a dirty worm kid's sundae, a small and medium rocky road, and one brownie sundae. We have had the ice cream sandwich before and they are delicious as well. We will definitely be back

Went here the other night for date night with the intention of picking up a quart of custard to take home and enjoy. While the freezer was stocked with a multitude of flavors, I did not see any of the ones I normally get and needed to find something new. My wife and I approached the staff and asked for recommendations. They were super helpful and we ended up with vanilla Whittie custard. When we broke this one open we were pleasantly surprised, it is vanilla custard with pieces of chocolate chip cookie in it (similar to Blue Bell cookie two step) and it was really good. Would recommend it if you need something new to try and if you like chocolate it is also comes in a chocolate whittie.

What can bring a smile to my face? Frozen custard topped with caramel, chocolate, and Spanish peanuts; and that's what they call the O'Henry George at Whit's Frozen Custard of Mandarin. That's what I got and it was so good! I have been meaning to try Whit's for quite a while now and finally got to yesterday. I ordered the O'Henry George which was amazing! But they have something for everyone! My daughter got some sort of worm dirt treat with gummy worms and oreo crumbs; which she thought was pretty amazing. If only I had a photo of how messy she was afterwards to show the pure joy it brought to her at the time. Service was friendly and fast. Combine that with great custard and I'll be back again soon.

Customer service was great; super helpful and friendly without being overbearing. The menu is simple yet so many combinations are possible. I went with the chocolate mint shake and it was delicious! I'll keep this place in mind for my next late night sweet tooth- super happy they're open til 10!

Saturday 3pmStopped in for an afternoon ice cream. Got the brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie was too sweet and I guess too hot because the ice cream melted very quickly.Will come again and try something else.#VickieTravelz
