Fabulous and fresh made frozen custard is served at this institution. Every day there is a special flavor along with vanilla and chocolate. But they can customize via mix-ins and a wide range of both flavors & add-ins. It is a bright old school ice cream parlor and service is always super friendly and the staff is happy to share suggestions on flavor combos. IMHO this is the finest ice cream in Bold City.

Whit's is one of my favorite places in Jacksonville! I usually visit the Jax Beach location but occasionally if in the area, I'll stop here. This location has great employees, service and of course custard!I almost always order the flavor of the day made into a River City Delight Whitser. I've never had a bad flavor or experience here.Make sure to check out their to-go pints and quarts!

I've been to almost every Whit's location in Jax and St. Augustine. We love their $5 ice cream sandwiches (Whitties), and they are perfect for kids, though a little big.This location is always clean, orderly. Staff is fast. And both times I've been to this one, other customers were in and out so we had it to ourselves. Bathrooms are a worthy stop if you're out and about and want a clean one!Neighborhood is cute but full of anorexic Bravoleb-wannabes. Staff is always chill and cool though.

We came in a few weeks back for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. It was a hot Summer afternoon and I expected it to be busy, but it was slow.The customer service was pleasant as we tried a couple different flavors each before settling. I ordered a special extra chocolate flavor while my wife ordered something with less chocolate.The custard was really tasty. Tables were clean and you can buy a variety of flavors to go. I definitely will be back.

I wish there was a Whit's where I live. This custard was so creamy. I wanted to eat more. There are so many topping combinations to choose from

Exactly what the doctor ordered for Quarantine. Not only are they open, you can order this for delivery through Postmates!I got a frozen banana for later, and this Cookies n' Creme for tonight. I've been to the Avondale and Beach locations, and both have the same amazing quality.As you can see, they definitely give you your money's worth filling the quart to the top. 10/10 would recommend

I love this place. Their ice cream is delicious. Different flavors all the time, they have a calendar to let people know what's the flavor of the day. Super cute and clean shop. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The employees are great here and seem to have fun with their jobs! Definitely our little spot to scoop up some ice cream if we are craving something different. Whit's has so many options, delicious ones at that!The establishment is always super clean! Highly recommend trying the apple pie
