Wally's Gyros & Subs

The steak and cheese and Philly cheese steak were freakin delicious. Highly recommend. I want to say it's the best I've had in town.

Definitely a mom and pop local place. Very small. Friendly staff. I had the gyro wrap with the mushrooms and drink for sides. Weren't bad. Seems like the locals come here and get it to go. Had a steady stream of people coming and going. They also have a small Lebanonese grocery store attached to it. Different sort of place.

I was worried at first because the restaurant is under new ownership. Oh not to worry. The Mediterranean food is the same and spectacular. They also have American food like Phillys. My daughter ordered the Philly all the way and it was fantastic. I ordered the Kibbie platter with toubouli and hummus as the sides. Just spectacular. Got some grape leaves (dolmas) on the side, terrific as well. Don't be thrown off by the location. It is worth the visit. My next review will have better food descriptions and pictures of the food itself. The new owner is so incredibly nice and I was sneaking food in the car on the way home so the pictures would have been pitiful! Lol.

Another enjoyable visit to Wally's. I don't know which is my favorite, the food or Jacob,the owner. I had the Gyro Philly sub which was awesome! Grilled Gyro meat piled generously over grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese, along side ripe tomatoes. Sone excellent Tabouleh on the side. My grandson had a huge cheeseburger along side thier always hit and crispy well seasoned fries. We took home some delicious crispy and buttery Baklava. Jacob was also the cook today.He is a most awesome and beautifully kind person. He is quick to light up with a warm smile to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

I've been eating at Wally's for many years now and it has always been good quality and fresh, a hidden little gem in Arlington.But had been a couple of months since Wally's came up on our Saturday night rotation I'm so happy it did!When I picked up my usual combination platter with tabouli and hummus and my hubby's gyro I met the new owner. He's a super nice young man and was happy to welcome me. The menu is same, but he states he's planning to add a few items after the holidays.So the food was fantastic! Everything we had was delicious. They have the absolute freshest most delicious tabouli I've ever eaten. It's was amazing So Good!We loved the entire meal and looking forward trying his new items when he adds them.I highly recommend this establishment!

Jacksonville's Best Shawarma joint is tucked into this little corner of the town. The people are very friendly and there is little to no crowd.

Do not sleep on this place it is so good! I chose this place because of the reviews and they did not disappoint. Good prices, great service and delicious food! I ordered the garlic butter shrimp plate and I couldn't eat it fast enough, good sized portions as well. My family also had the steak and cheese sub, chicken plate and the veggie soup all 10/10 recommend

I ordered a gyro, curly fries and fried mushrooms, and a dessert item. . The food was really food. The only mark against them would be they forgot to put my dessert item in the bag

If this place wasn't an hour round trip from my house, I'd be here daily. And I mean daily. Best bang for you buck in town by far. My food was made by the owner himself in the back with love and care. Top notch food. I'll be back for the entire menu. It's cheap cheap for how much food you get and the quality is like someone's home cooking. It's amazing. Restaurant is old school and a little beat up and that's the way I love it. Still clean as can be though. Can see right into the kitchen from the order line. Makes you feel comfortable. Like mealtime is for eating not dressing to impress. I will be recommending this spot to everyone. Has a little Lebanese(I believe don't quote me) store attached too with some cool imports. Man I wish it wasn't so far from the beaches! He said they're opening up 24/7 in March. I already know where my late night runs will be when all the good/healthy food has closed down.

Wally's is a small business with arguably the greatest gyros and wraps I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The owner is top notch, polite, and gets food out quick.
