Love this park! The boys have so much fun here looking at the the ducks and playing on the playground. Two of my favorite things about this part is that parents can swing with their little children with double swings and that the playground is gated in so much youngest can't vendor off as he is a runner! On the weekends it can get a little crowded with all the soccer games so plan accordingly.

This park has a great kids PLAYGROUND with a jungle gym, slides, swings, and parent/baby swing. The play structure does have shade but the swings didn't. It's a mulched playground and fenced. There's a shaded sitting area with picnic tables adjacent. The sign suggests ages 2-5 for the play atri

This is a large and CLEAN park. Plenty of parking, really nice wide sidewalks all around for walking the dog or jogging, plenty of CLEAN bathrooms throughout. Several Ponds with fountains. Basketball courts, playground, soccer fields, skate park and free dog park with fenced areas separated for small and large dogs . I stress the word CLEAN because a lot of the local parks around Jax are full of trash which is really sad. This one is well maintained. I imagine it gets super busy during soccer season as it's a Florida Elite complex but today on a winter Thursday Morning it was empty except for a few people at the dog park, some adults practicing soccer against the kick boards, some joggers and kiddie soccer practice on the small fields. There were picnic tables under roofs adjacent to each bathroom but no designated picnic area or recreational area except the soccer fields to speak of.

Good size dog park! Has a separate small/large side for pups to play. They also have a shaded area for humans to sit under while the puppers play, and a hose/drinking area to clean your dogs after playing.

Woof, woof WooOFf, Woof.In dog language, that means it's a great place to be. My dog had a great time here. I mean, whenever there's sun, grass and other dogs to sniff. He's happy. Take your canine friend here and let them loose. It is free and very friendly.Your dog is going to need plenty of naps and a bath after.

This place is perfect! What's even better is there is no admission fee. FREEEEEEE! It's very spacious and entirely fenced it. Segregated into two sections; big dogs and little dogs. There are community dog bowls, as well as a kiddie pool for dogs. Be wary of the mud pond in the back. Awesome place to socialize the dog and meet new people.

Is this a public or private park? I understand some businesses or people contribute and want a sign, but this park is plastered like a dictatorship of Florida Elite soccer signage Everywhere. So, Fl elite got me lookingThe Veterans park sign seems gone. Guess it got the boot for the privatized non-profit PPP soccer program. Since this is the only large (I thought publicly funded) park in the nearby area, it would be nice to have better large playgrounds and focus on multi-purpose use. Dog & skate park are nice, but could use some help. St. John's tax payers deserve some return on these high taxes. It was nice to think there was a real Veterans memorial that stood for US Veterans not a confederacy and not a privatized group- guess not in St Johns.

Merry Christmas (not ) went to this dog park today 12/25/20 to five my 7 month old white Sheppard some much needed dog chasing fun!! Only to encounter the rudeness of people. My dog entered and immediately went to sniff new fur friends and encourage them to run via his hearty bark ( not aggressive but definitely loud) this is what dogs do people! Sniff, bark and 'yes' chase! A guys was like get your aggressive ass dog outta here... WHAT? he proceeded to curse and get so rude for no real reason. My dog didn't bite anyone. I take my dog every where (mall, restaurants, other dog parks) he is a registered service animal never any issues EVER!I will not come back here, the people and muddy not well kept park is not worth it.
