Food was delicious. We started with the corn nuggets, then I had the clam strips (sooo good!) with fries and hush puppies (FINALLY found some good ones!). Service was really slow, however the place was BUSY! We went for lunch and it was hoppin'.

I was looking on Yelp for somewhere that had a menu with good variety and had clam strips. Trent's appeared in my search and I was shocked by the good reviews and the location.My mom lives not too far and so does my sister and yet somehow none of us knew this place existed. Well, we do now. My sister and I came in for lunch on a weekday. We were greeted quickly and sat at a table. My go-to item in Florida is always clam strips, you don't see them often in CA. I ordered the large clam strips with a baked potato and extra hush puppies. I was so happy I could add on more hush puppies as my second side! The food came out quickly and I was shocked at the portion. You receive a good amount of clam strips and they are larger strips. The baked potato was good and loved the hush puppies. Service was great. Our server (Jamie) was very friendly and sweet. She answered any questions we had without any issue. Drinks were refilled quickly.

On a side street and you can't see it from US-17. The road is a dead end and there is plenty of street parking or overflow just up the road. We got there early and didn't have to wait, as we left there were people waiting. Our service was excellent even know they were very busy. It was pretty loud so we have to speak up to hear each other, so don't expect a quiet meal. My wife had a seafood plater for one and I had a grouper plate and a salad. Everything was cooked perfectly. There was a lot of food and we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend Trent's and will be back soon.

Once again Trent's did not disappoint. Haven't been to Jacksonville in years but knew we'd go to Trent's when we did. Came into town on Friday and timing put us at Trent's at 4:30. Just starting to get busy but beat the crowd and sat right away. Attentive staff and clean establishment. We looked over the menu since there have been changes; no shrimp dip appetizer anymore nor a side claw of snow crabs legs. We ordered and the food was fairly quick to arrive. Food was cooked just right with hot and fresh sides. Delicious as always. We shared a slice of their famous key lime pie. Not sure how they make it but it's so creamy and good. If you've been here, you probably already know it's a gym, but if you're traveling through the area, it's a high recommendation for some fresh local seafood. Located right across from NAS Jacksonville off of Highway 17.

This is a hidden jewel for seafood restaurants in Jacksonville, recommended to us by a friend. Now, we happily drive across town to go! This is some of the best seafood in town. Perfectly cooked, plentiful, and delicious. It's now our go-to for seafood. Very casual atmosphere, very friendly service--but the food is the real star of the show.

Have not been to Trent's in years, so decided to check it out. The place is bigger than what I remember with a lobby and additional seating (including outside). The decorations are classic to a seafood restaurant. I especially liked the large mouthed fish on the walls. Everything I saw was very clean.We were warmly greeted by Jamie and taken to a cushioned seat booth. Jamie was also our server. She was great - professionally friendly, very knowledgeable, resourceful and attentive without being overbearing. Yes, we had lots of questions. We each ordered something different - salmon (ocean caught), pollack, clams, shrimp and oysters. I had the grilled salmon and it was the best I have ever had. Fresh, inside flaky, juicy and had slight grill on the outside. I had coleslaw, baked potato, and hush puppies (that come with most of the meals). Tasty!!You have a choice of small versus large on most meals. I chose large, which meant I got two large salmon pieces. It was worth the additional $3 to upsize the meal.All of us said we would be coming back - sooner than later. Delicious!!

I can't believe I have lived in Jacksonville for 19 years and just went to Trent's for the first time. I have truly been missing out. If you are looking for good seafood that is seasoned perfectly this is your place. My husband and I ordered the Lobster platter for 2 which came with lobster tails, shrimp, scallops, and deviled crab. You also got to choose 4 sides so it was plenty of food. Jade was our server and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. You can tell she enjoys what she does. When you drive up it's like an old seafood shack (just not on the water). The inside decor is perfect and very comfortable.

Trent's is an amazing restaurant. From the minute you enter until the minute you leave you get nothing but the best service you could possibly want. My husband and I are regulars there and we have never had a bad server or a bad meal. There is something for everyone on the menu.Last night, they put on a spectacular Valentine's dinner with everything from delicious appetizers, entrées, chocolate covered strawberries, you name it they had it. Everyone was so happy and made everyone feel so special. I hope that they will do more special dinners in the future because they do it right!!!Sharon and Tom

Our server was awesome, I believe her name was Farran . Her service was excellent, and attentive , the food was perfect, it was a great dining experience!!!
