Treemendous Bbq Express 2

This food truck came to my office today. We were sent menus in advance and I was excited to try their corn nuggets but disappointing to find out that their menu option was smaller than what we received. I ended up ordering the turkey dinner which comes with two sides and a piece of bread. I went with the baked beans and mac & cheese. I was pleasantly surprised how tastey the food was. The turkey was moist and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of smokeiness. The sides were pretty good as well. Beans weren't too sweet and mac & cheese weren't dry or too cheesy. Overall the flavors were on point and made me forget about my corn nuggets disappointment real quickly. The service was quick but they weren't very personable. They arrived at my office at 11:30 am but within an hour they were already out of the mac and cheese. The price was a tad high but luckily my company paid for 1/2 of it.

This truck has been to the office a few times, but I've been unable to catch them since they leave at 1 and I lunch at one. Anyways, this truck was a 15 walk from the office a few weeks ago (thanks food truck finder jax) and I ordered the ribs with 2 sides. I got three large tasty ribs and the sides were good. I recall it being baked beans and Mac and cheese, although I had better sides the portion was great! I will certainly be back.

Oh happy day! Oh happy Monday! Or should I say TreeMendous BBQ Monday! Another good looking food truck on site here at Greystone Park today which goes by the name like no other name "TreeMendous BBQ Express" which may sound familiar to you Food Truck and BBQ aficionados! First yes there's a TreeMendous BBQ restaurant by the same name located at 8927 Herlong Road - same great food and service here like the restaurant. Second there's another food truck with a slightly different name "TreeMendous Sea and Soul Food" - good stuff as well but entirely different menu.TreeMendous BBQ Express serves up a delicious mobile menu of lunch BBQ plates - sandwich, lunch and dinner portions. You can pick from Beef, Pork, Turkey, Robs and Chicken and a slew of sides - baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, Mac-n-cheese, and French fries. All sandwiches served with 1 side and drink.I chose the Chicken Feast BBQ Sandwich meal with Mac-n-cheese. The pulled chicken BBQ sandwich was very savory and perfectly cooked with a soft sesame seed bun. The Mac-n-cheese was tasty cheesy and definitely not "from the box." A couple things that were evident: food is quality and this is reflected in the meats that are smoked daily and the homemade sides. Service is fast and the food is nice and hot delivered at the pickup counter.This is a good BBQ food truck to be on the lookout for. You'll enjoy this "TreeMendous BBQ!"

I'm a big bbq fan and this is exactly how I like it! Fantastic pulled pork, no weird chewy bits. Unsauced so you can do it how you like (they have like 5 types of sauce). The pulled pork sandwich is all I've tried so far but I am definitely going to eat here again if I see the truck around. My sandwich meal with a side and a drink was $9, which I think is a little cheaper than Bono's and other local competitors.

I think this is one of the best BBQ food trucks downtown. I try to avoid the food trucks if I'm in a hurry because they can have a long wait, especially if they are popular. I enjoyed this one today in downtown Jax. I ordered the BBQ turkey which was perfected cooked and seasoned. They offer a good selection of sauces and fountain drinks rather than cans. The order came out in less than 2 minutes. This one is my new favorite and hope to visit again.

Not the best BBQ I've had. At the end of a Food Truck event may have made a difference. I had pulled pork dinner w/mac & cheese and bbq beans. Pork was cooked well, but quite a few fat pieces in my serving. Some had burnt edges so harder to see. I had to check every bite for fat . The sweet sauce was good, but the mustard was quite spicy/hot. The beans were good, except I don't like really spicy and they had jalapenos in them. If I'd known I'd have ordered a different side. I got 2 pieces of plain, white texas toast on the top, not toasted or grilled. I was looking forward to toasted bread. The mac and cheese was good. At home I grilled the bread, washed the mustard sauce off the pork and picked the jalapenos out of the beans. A lot of effort on my part to improve it. I'll stick with Bono's.

This truck/trailer is the latest to the group of Treemendous family. Not yet with a wrap and just getting started is the #2 truck. Treemendous is a good ole bbq joint that has broken into the food truck scene awhile back. I just haven't eaten from them yet. I know bbq and it is hard to get a good bbq guy to eat food that he also makes. now this truck was out with a couple others at the food court today and I was going to see an old friend. So what the heck. I swung over and grab me up a rib sandwich. Now the ribs are kind of my go to from any other bbq joint. If you can do a good rib then you can do almost any other of the meats. The other meats are normally a set it and forget it kind of smoking. But, ribs take some TLC if you know what I mean. I will say that they did a pretty good job in my eyes. The ribs were a little more tough then I really like but TLC remember. They had a good flavor of I believe oak wood if I had to guess. The sauce which in my eyes should stay on the sidelines was a nice blend of heat with a mustard base. I like me some heat now. This stuff had some but it was way on the backside so it took a bit to hit you. in all not a bad dish of meat and I will probably have to try some of their other meats.

The service I had after so many times before has been the worst offer to pay the difference of the meal to make the meal what my wife wanted and they told me there was absolutely no way that they do that very rude very rude and will never eat there again after treating three years of being the one that apple
