This place is so fun. If you love karaoke this is the place to be. And they won't try to break your pockets

This bar is up and coming back on the rise. They have made lots of great changes to better the customer. they have the bowling game, 2 dart machines, pool table, NFL and College football sports packages, NFL, College picks plus squares, draft and daily specials almost every day + karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. The bartenders are great and they hold multiple tournaments throughout the week and weekend. No Real food but they have snacks such as chips, jerkey and more. The bartenders their cook for all their customers multiple times during the week and weekend. All in all it's worth checking and hanging out for sure as everyone is friendly.

I had been to Tradewinds a long time ago with a different group of friends and seemed to remember it differently than it is now. They only have beer and wine and the place just feels...rough. While we did have a fun time with the karaoke, and the bartender was really friendly, it just makes you wish you had thought your options through a bit more and did not allow the trade winds to blow you in this direction. I can fit in just about anywhere, and John added to the mix made it even more hilarious but we agreed it might not be a bar we try to hit again. For where it is, and the crowd of regulars, I'm sure they do plenty of business, but it could just be so much better. Don't get me started on the bathroom, or the fight that broke out, or the...never mind.

I try to support all the neighborhood bars but after tonight I will never go back to Tradewinds.

many changes have been made since the last review. great staff, friendly atmosphere, always clean.they offer pool, darts, trivia, karaoke, great selection of beer, wine, and jello shots.always a fun place to hang out

This place has such a great location with so much potential. They cater to the locals and regulars. From the few times I've stopped in, it's pretty hard to gage the mood inside. I like that they did a little remodel since I moved to the neighborhood and the windows of the bar now fully open up. However, I've definitely experienced better and would love to see this place reach it's true potential with some type of update considering it's prime location.

What a friendly neighborhood corner bar. It was still a bit smokey even though they have areas opened up to the outside. I would suggest the owner get a smoke eater installed. This is s beer and wine place, no hard liqour. There's karoke, a nice pool table and clean restrooms. Really, what more could you want at a small bar?

Dive bar with a hit or miss crowd. The place gets stars because one of the bartenders, Mimi, is so awesome. The beer on tap is really bad and I am guessing that is due to the lines not being cleaned in a long time. I would definitely recommend getting beer by the can or bottle, do not choose the draft selection. This bar only has a wine and beer license so if you are looking for liquor you need to go somewhere else. They do have free pool on Sundays and karaoke on Saturdays and I believe karaoke on two other days (Tuesday and Thursday possible...do not remember). I normally only come in if I want to karaoke or see Mimi other than that, I would not recommend this bar. If you want good draft beer, go to the bar Across the Street (that is the name and it is also right across the road).

When pub-crawling, one must take all of the stops in stride and understand that any neighborhood bar can have its bright spots. This bar is a quaint, well worn bar that has plenty of history. Cheap beer, some music, and games are the bright spots here. The restrooms have seen cleaner days, and the beer selection is limited. Stop in and get your nostalgia on.

There are so many bars to go to in Jacksonville.....where you can breathe inside the bar. Yes, this place does feature smoke, and lots of it, but that's what the bars are for, where they don't serve food. Smoke, and lots of it. This is a nostalgic place, for sure, a couple of pool tables, dart boards, nice jukebox, and pinball, but it does feature some hard core smokers, if you like to smoke, this is the place for you. Beer was ice cold though and the right price!
