We had a fantastic date night at Town Hall in Jacksonville, and it's easily one of the more fun spots we've been to in the San Marco area. The atmosphere is great--classy but not stuffy--and there are different ways to experience the space. The front section has a lively bar, wine bar, and high-top seating, while the back dining room offers a more formal setting for a relaxed meal. The food? Outstanding. The scallops were creatively prepared, and the seared salmon was absolutely perfect--flaky, flavorful, and served with sautéed spinach that complemented it really well.Service was also a highlight. Marty took great care of us--efficient, friendly, and with just the right level of casual professionalism that made the experience even better.Pricing felt reasonable for the quality, at around $50 per person, which made it a solid value for a special night out. Reservations were easy to make through OpenTable, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish.Definitely recommend checking out the photos before you go--the space is beautiful!

The atmosphere of the place was undeniably charming, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. We enjoyed dinner al fresco, nestled beneath a blanket of twinkling stars, with cozy heaters warming our surroundings -- it was truly a romantic setting. However, the pasta left much to be desired. It was lacking in substantial meat and could have benefited from a more robust seasoning to elevate its flavor. Despite being enthusiastically recommended by our server, it failed to meet our expectations. We did love the other items pictured. The service, while friendly, felt a bit sluggish, likely due to the challenges of dining outdoors. Overall, the ambiance was delightful, but the part of the meal had its shortcomings.

More like 3.5 stars - chic spot and nice decor. We either have the option to sit at a high top for only about 50 minutes until the reservation party came or sit at the spot by the front, which has couches in a small table. We opted for the couch area since we didn't want to be rushed. Service was good. The food was ok. I didn't love the shrimp pasta, but I would try something else next time. The lavender crème brûlée was the best. The table in this area is drift wood like so it's an off shape and hard to eat on though.

We were in the area to attend a Yelp Elite event at Millie's Ice Cream, so my wonderful husband was nice enough to make a dinner reservation at this restaurant before our ice cream dessert at Millie's. It was our first time dining here but I have a feeling it will not be our last. The restaurant has indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The bar seating is located in the initial room you walk into as you enter the restaurant, and it is a beautiful room with plenty to enjoy. The dining area with regular tables is in a different room further into the restauarnt. It had a very nice vibe to it with some great seventies music playing. The menu is small but good. They have several appetizers and entrees, as well as a few desserts. I opted for the seared scallops. They came with a delicious pureed celery root and braised leeks. The whole entree was very tasty. My husband had the seared salmon. It came with sautéed spinach and couscous. He loved his dinner as well. Service was great from our waiter, Martin.

Quick dinner on a busy Friday night. We got a small table outside and service was great. Pepper crusted tuna appetizer was nice. My scallops were too salty and the waiter offered to change them. New ones were still salty, but I really appreciated the effort.

Love Town Hall! There's not a bad seat in this smaller restaurant. I like bringing out of town guests here but also just going with my husband a couple times a year. Their drinks are consistently good. For food I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts and truffle parmesan fries- always a hit! Both their brunch and dinner menus are great. I had the gelato this time for the first time and it was tasty. I will say it's hard to find parking in this area so leave extra time for that.

Second time here. Amazing food and service. Ordered the Ahi tuna app which was flavorful, just wish there was more! I had the shrimp fettuccine and my bf had the cauliflower dish. I devoured the pasta. They do not skimp on the shrimp either. Had a taste of the feta stuffed cauliflower and it was super tasty. Great seasoning. Shared the dessert special: banana foster bread pudding. What a way to end the meal. Wow, it was one of the best bread pudding I've had. Paired well with the ice cream. Top notch experience here! Would recommend making reservations. They were pretty busy (Friday evening).

Town Hall absolutely nailed happy hour! Their happy hour has a great selection with amazing prices. Perfectly crafted drinks and outstanding service made it a great experience. The pimento cheese was seriously top-notch, and the sweet potato fries were crispy perfection. The cornbread was a bit on the dry side, but the flavor made up for it. Can't wait to go back for more!
