Tony's Cantina Mexican Grill

Really great spot. We went there to celebrate birthdays with a family dinner for 12! The first thing you notice is the decor, it's bright, festive and clean! Really remarkably clean! They have these cute chairs set up for photo opportunities and the whole place is just darling, including the bathrooms!The menu is packed, like most Mexican restaurants, but Tony's has some really standouts like the ceviche flight, the esquite, and the celebration churros! They also make birthdays really special, it feels like a production. You hear the music first and then the team comes over to sing! It's a lot of fun and seems to be something the whole restaurant gets into! Highly recommend.

My wife and I dined with my brother and family. I chose the Pollo Ranchero largely due to my desire for bacon. However, the dish arrived with an excessive amount of oil on the plate, necessitating the use of multiple napkins to absorb the oil out. Also, the bacon was not cooked to my liking as it was undercooked and contained uncooked fat. Would have been nice if they were crispy. I had specifically chosen this dish for the bacon, expecting a crispy texture. This experience was disappointing and I regret not selecting one of the sampler options.Our second visit was much better. We decided to try the Sampler Tijuana, and while my wife and I can usually eat a lot, we couldn't quite finish it! The espresso beverage was smooth and enjoyable, and the service was excellent--definitely a big improvement from our first visit.

My step mom and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the hostess and she too us to our table. We placed our drink orders with our server when she brought out chips and salsa. I ordered the Horchata Margarita, and my stepmom ordered the margarita flight. Both were very good and very strong.When we ordered our entrees it took a little while for them to come out but when they did they were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Taqueria Frida with grilled chicken, and my stepmom got the enchiladas. Definitely a 10/10 spot for Mexican cuisine

Let me be the first! Not worth coming here. Food was BLAND, please utilize some seasoning. The drinks were overpriced. They don't tell you they charge extra for salsa, not an issue but a heads up would be nice. The pictures on the menu are deceiving. Had the pineapple loca and it was so bland. What a disappointment and not worth 22.99, just cause it looks nice doesn't mean it'll taste good. Oh but the ambiance was sooo cute! I

What a nice looking restaurant with comfy chairs! We decided to try this place on a Tuesday where they had a special for 3 tacos (ground beef or shredded chicken) for $6.99. What a great price! This place has an extensive menu that even offers a couple of pasta entrees and a seafood boil along with other Mexican dishes. They also serve brunch. The menu has pictures which is appreciated. Although some of the entrees we ordered could use a little more seasoning (the beef & chicken) the presentation was incredible. The flights of margaritas and samplers that other customers ordered made our heads turn. Our waitress was friendly but the service was a little slow. We will visit again to give them another try.

The ambiance I will say is OUTSTANDING love the decor and how colorful and culturally attributing it is!!!Our service was ok - small hiccup because she forgot what I said I didn't want but handled it ok. Her facial gesture was displeased at first but came around and smiled. The food was just average. The burrito was not too bad but had hoped the chicken would have more traditional flavors rather than the bland flavor it was. The cheese quesadilla was very skimpy with the cheese I must say but the salsa was the true highlight. Overall it was ok. If u r looking for great ambiance this the place but if you want the food to match maybe not so.

Stunning decor and interior is a 5/5, the ambiance is the best part of this place. Great place to come for dessert! Large, creative menu, with lots of photos (more extensive the menu, more dicey the quality) but nothing we experienced was sub par. It's a fun experience with churro carts and "flights" of various dishes like tacos. Birria was pretty solid, and the enchiladas tasted homemade. The churros had caramel infused into them, and they were great! Just beware if you don't like that. Disclaimer: we came on NY Day, but the service was a low point for me. Slow (possibly understaffed) but took 20 min for anything to happen. If they got another person on shift just for refilling waters, clearing plates, cleaning the bathroom regularly, this place would have my 5th star. If you're not in a hurry this is your next taco Tuesday for sure!
