Tikka Bowls and Tacos

One of our go to places. Love the food here! My favorite is a burrito. My husband goes for all variations of their bowls. Flavors are an amazing fusion of Mexican and Indian. Super friendly and helpful staff! Great casual spot to hang out and eat.

We had heard great things about Tikka Bowls and Tacos, often called as "Indian Chipotle," so on our way back from St. Augustine to Tampa, we decided to take a slight detour to check it out for lunch.Upon entering the restaurant, we were excited by the menu options and eager to try their signature bowls. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Bowl and the Mutton Bowl.Our order was prepared quickly, and we hit the road with our bowls. As we enjoyed them during our journey, we were impressed by the rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces that perfectly complemented the bowls. The bowl was delightful blend of Indian spices with a modern, Chipotle-style twist.If you're looking for a unique and flavorful take on Indian cuisine, Tikka Bowls and Tacos is definitely worth trying.

I was excited for this spot since it had good reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I should have known when I sampled the goat. It was really under seasoned and needed a lot more salt. It was hard to tell the flavor since it was so lacking in salt. The chicken wasn't much better. Very bland tasting and relatively dry. Do they brine it before cooking? Probably not. The salad for the base of my bowl was just iceberg lettuce. Spring mix or some other more nutritional mix would have been preferred. The curry tasted good enough - I got the medium spice variety. For drinks, there weren't many options. Mostly sugary sodas. Not a great experience. We won't be back.

Who would have guessed that a Mexican and Indian fusion. restaurant would be so great?!?We were overwhelmed by the flavors and will be back.

They have a combination of Indian meets Mexican food in bowls. Exotic flavors, a great addition to the Southside Gate parkway area. We tried their Delicious fusion Indian food today. We love supporting local family owned businesses. Really friendly staff, and our meals at this new restaurant were awesome! The Samosa Chaat, mango and tamarind chutneys + masala chai hit the spot perfect indian street food. Staff and service were wonderful. Definitely will be back. I had been hearing about Tikka Bowls and Tacos and finally made. I will say it for sure took me too long to get there but I will be coming back soon. Tikka Bowls and Tacos is similar to Chipotle but using Indian food and it's also way better. I got a bowl with chicken and so many delicious toppings and sauces. You start with a base which I did cilantro rice, chicken, Tikka Smoked Tomato Curry, all the other bowl toppings one is used to and there Hot Chutney. Really brings the heat. The chicken was flavorful and all the toppings fresh and their sauces are also homemade. I can't forget how friendly the staff is too. They are also part of the reason I will be coming back. Ashley had the taco which she upgraded to Naan and they were amazing too. Did a mix of the chicken and the Paneer which was amazing. The Naan is softer then the normal Tandoori Naan which is crispy from cooking on the side of the oven but their Naan has to be soft since in taco form and will not crack as soon as it's folded. They are very unique and delicious so you have to give them a try.We also had to try the Samosa Chaat which was way better then I expected since it was a vegan option. The Samosa Chaat Is 2 Samosas covered in Chole Chana and other toppings. I was just so much more flavorful then I expected. You really can't go wrong with anything from here. At least from what I have tried.

We are constantly on the quest for good Indian food and this place delivers. It follows the Chipotle method of building your bowl or taco or wrap. Staff was very willing to give tastes of items and/or explain them. Portions were very large so plenty of leftovers. My husband thought the goat was very good. I liked my chicken and the pineapple guacamole was a nice flavor. Naan was very good. I wasn't expecting garlic butter to be poured on top. My experience with garlic naan is the garlic is flavored in the bread. Nevertheless, the naan had a great taste and texture. There were regular tablespoons of and hi top tables. Lots of parking in lot outside. We will definitely be back.

So stinking good! I just finished my meal and while I am in pain from how full I am I thought I would share my thoughts on the deliciousness! There is something so satisfying about eating dishes with lots of colors it just fills up my eyes and stomach. I ordered the Naan Tacos, two with chicken and one with Paneer. The Paneer was incredible and probably my favorite thing I have eaten in a while the cheese was melty but not too melty. Each bite was a burst of flavors a deliciousness! I gobbled all of my tacos in moments. I asked the very nice server what they put in their tacos and to make mine that way, no joke that was such a good move. There were so many toppings to add that I don't know how anyone could choose so I asked an expert and it paid off! We will absolutely be back soon!

First time going here and it was excellent! Huge portions and very flavorful! I will be back!

Ordered dinner Friday night and it was outstanding. Excellent food and very friendly service when I picked it up. We pick up from here periodically and have never been disappointed. Really like getting a little of the extra hot sauce on the side !
